But out of respect for his wife's authority, he didn't dare say anything. He could only offer the bound Beautiful Lady a look of commiseration and scurry off to prepare a meal for Kiara.

While cooking, he kept an ear out for any sounds from outside. He was curious how exactly his wife planned to hypnotize the Beautiful Lady, wondering if successful hypnosis on a dog could be considered a scientific breakthrough, something he had never heard of before.

What to eat tonight? The villa had a maid who had prepared food in advance and stored it in lunch boxes. Poor Mrs. Kiara's grand plan of hypnotizing the dog had thus utterly failed.

Mario Yuno busied himself with paper towels and a mop to clean up the mess, painfully suppressing his laughter and reminding himself, “Hold it in! Don't laugh. She has a petty heart– if she catches you laughing at her, she'd surely find a way to retaliate.”

Langa, who had seen it all, wanted to laugh but maintained a serious composure as he tried to console her, “Daughter-in-law, don't take it to heart. You know, scientific research is always full of countless failures, then through those failures, one searches…”

Emma, he couldn't keep up the charade any longer. Where on earth did his wife come up with the bizarre idea to hypnotize a dog? Hahaha! It was just too funny!

“Are you secretly laughing inside?” Kiara narrowed her eyes.

Mario Yuno immediately put on a standard serious face, “No! Absolutely not!”

Mario Yuno felt his daughter-in-law was incredibly smart, but sometimes, smart people can do foolish things once they reach a certain level. Hahaha, he could rely on this joke to live the rest of his life, almost laughing his way to abs.

This time Kiara really couldn't save face; even she thought her attempt at hypnotizing the Beautiful Lady was kind of silly.

Luckily, Kiara's phone rang. Tiara Stone had arranged for a patient to meet Kiara, asking her to make a house visit.

“Why are they asking you to make a trip so late?” Mario Yuno asked.

Kiara touched her chin after hanging up the phone, “Tony just told me that the family is vacationing here, their main residence isn't around this area, but the elder got sick here.
