They had signed a live broadcast agreement with Huaxia Central about the concert.
Along with a series of advertising contracts with various companies such as Tianren Pharmaceutical, Reckless Drinks.
But with Yang Kun having now left HuaXiang Entertainment, they were in deep trouble.
The truth of the matter was Zhang Xiaohua expected that Yang Kun would leave eventually it's just he expected him to stay through the concert.
From the way he saw it, they were both using each other for mutual benefits and all together the pros outweighed the cons and from what he had seen Yang Kun understood this principle, he should have been able to see from the Wang Jingwen catastrophe what happened when that balance was broken.
Without his voice they couldn't sell their songs but without their songs he wouldn't be able to sell his voice. He had become suspicious when Yang Kun had come to alter the contract but he just saw it as him protecting himself for the future. Though the kid was arrogant he saw them cooperating for a few years. By which point he wouldn't even need him by then.
He didn't expect the kid to make such a big move and a risky one at that, he had clearly seen what had happened with Wang Jingwen but he still risked it, he couldn't help but admit the kid had pulled it off well, he had been played.
He had been too naive and too confident.
As everyone in the conference room was lost in their thoughts Xu Fengnian's phone suddenly rang.
On the caller Id appeared the name Director Liu, Xu Fengnian froze, the thought to ignore the call flashed through his mind. He could guess the reason for the call. This was terrible news...
Pressing the answer button and placing the call on speaker, Director Liu's voice immediately came over the line: "Xu Fengnian, what the hell is going on. I've just heard that Yang Kun has cancelled his contract with your company? What about the concert? We have signed a contract; we have already began to advertise the concert. This will destroy our credibility!"
Xu Fengnian sighed and whispered: "Old Liu don't worry we will fix, this even if Yang Kun has bailed we still have Ling Ming we can replace him. Just give us some time to organise something, we will definitely give you a satisfactory explanation you won't suffer a loss."
"I don't care about Ling Ming; the contract was for Yang Kun's concert. We've already released word of the concert. We've announced that Yang Kun will be singing not Ling Ming, we can't just change our word this is inappropriate. How can you have this sort of attitude towards business." shouted Director Liu.
Since this issue was their fault Xu Fengnian didn't continue to argue, it would only serve to anger Director Liu more.
Hearing the exchange Zhang Xiaohua stood up and walked quickly to Xu Fengnian, then grabbed the phone and said: " Hello its Zhang Xiaohua, we can't do the Yang Kun concert. We deeply regret the inconvenience this last minute change has caused and the burden we have caused. But we've only just received the news ourselves, if you could give us a few minutes to sort things out. We will get back to you with a way to resolve this mess."
On the other end, Director Liu coldly harrumphed then said bluntly: "Since Yang Kun's concert can't be done and due to damages caused to the credibility of our station. In order to reduce losses our leaders have already met and discussed. The final decision is that we need 20 million yuan for damages and 30 million yuan for breach of contract."
"That is 50 million?" said Zhang Xiaohua full of indignation.

As Lawyer Wu and Chen stepped out of the threshold of HuaXiang Entertainment. They hurriedly informed Cao Feifei of their success.
After that, Cao Feifei contacted Director Liu to act.
Two days earlier Cao Feifei had contacted Director Liu and sold the live broadcasting rights to Yang Kun's concert on January 1st to Huaxia Central at a low price.
With Yang Kun leaving the company, HuaXiang would naturally be unable to complete the contract.
