He wasn't Ji Tingyang, why should he buy it for her, especially with such an entitled tone.

He gave up.

No one else continued to bid, and the necklace went to Ji Zeqiu without contest.

Ji Zeqiu looked away, meeting Lin Xu's eyes shining with touched emotion.

“I didn't think you would spend so much money for a necklace for me.”

Ji Zeqiu averted his gaze, his voice stumbling and stiff, “Don't get me wrong, I just couldn't stand that guy!”
