Just as she was about to speak, her phone rang from inside her bag.

She had to hold back the scolding in her throat, and as soon as the call connected, Ji Tingyang's anxious voice came through.

“How is Ji Zeqiu doing? I'm already at the airport. I'll be able to board the plane soon.”

“He's fine, still jumping around.” Lin Xu soothed his anxious mood, “Don't rush, you can come over slowly.”

There was a pause on the other end of the phone for a few seconds. “He's okay?”

“Yes, he isn't missing any arms or legs.”

“Then put him on the phone, I want to talk to him for a bit.”

She knew that even though Ji Tingyang usually seemed to disapprove of Ji Zeqiu, when it came down to it, he was still very worried about him.
