Chapter 133: Chapter 133 “You want to report your cousin?

Wu Yanghui went to work at the company as usual, and saw his assistant running out of the office in a panic, looking perplexed.

Could it be that there was a problem with a contract with a client?

“What's the rush? What happened?” Wu Yanghui stopped him.

“President Wu, something big has happened,” the assistant said, panic-stricken.

When Wu Yanghui pushed the door and entered the conference room, Ji Tingyang's secretary had just finished a meeting with the rest of the minority shareholders.

He had thought that when Ji Tingyang talked about buying shares, he really wanted to help him; he hadn't realized that Ji Tingyang had his eye on taking over his small company.

Wu Yanghui's face darkened as he dialed Ji Tingyang's phone number, wanting to confront him.

However, to his surprise, the number that had been very accessible just two days ago was now unreachable.

Clearly, Ji Tingyang had blacklisted him.

Wu Yanghui's face turned an even darker shade than the bottom of a pot, “Call Ji Tingyang for me; I have words for him!”

By now, Wu Yanghui knew well enough that all this was an expression of Ji Tingyang's stance.

He started swearing on the spot.

Wu Yanghui's ranting caused a commotion and attracted many employees at Ji's headquarters.

“The two of you, President Ji invites you upstairs,” the receptionist said, approaching them.

Upon hearing this, the woman instantly stopped crying and wailing, as if everything before had been their delusion, “Wouldn't it have been better to do this from the start?”

They went up to the office.

The woman walked to the sofa as if she were in her own home, sat down with one leg over the other, and looked arrogantly at Ji Tingyang, “Little Ji, just give us back those shares, and we'll forget all about this.”

A sneer escaped Ji Tingyang's throat, “Auntie seems not to recognize the situation. If you want to ask for a favor, you'd better change your attitude first.”

The woman looked at him, “What do you mean?”

“Auntie wants the shares back? That's not impossible. Give two billion, and I'll transfer them to you. How about that?” Ji Tingyang said.

Upon hearing this, the woman's complexion immediately turned cold.

Their small company's total market value wasn't even two billion, and Ji Tingyang's demand was utterly preposterous.

“Impossible!” the woman flatly refused, “I won't pay a dime.”

Ji Tingyang smiled, unsurprised, “Is it that you won't pay, or you don't have the money to pay?”

The woman felt her heart skip a beat and before she could grasp the meaning of his words, she heard what came next.

“I heard that when cousin was in charge, he embezzled a significant amount of company funds, which are almost squandered now. What do you think would happen if I, as a shareholder, demand a financial audit?”

Then it wouldn't just be a matter of money anymore–serving a few years in prison could also be a possibility.

Wu Yanghui's face turned ashen, and his forehead began to sweat profusely.

He had kept this secret well; how did Ji Tingyang know?

The woman's body shook, staring at Ji Tingyang in disbelief, “Are you going to report your own cousin? Are you insane?!”

“When your parents died, I selflessly took you and your siblings in for several years. I didn't expect repayment after you grew up, and now this is how you repay me?!”

Wu Yanghui's hand was bright red, almost instantly blistering in a gruesome sight.

More severe than the bloodstains on Lin Xu's hand, Ji Tingyang found this much more pleasing to the eye, his eyes narrowed with ruthless coldness.
