"What! How can you open the book?"

Scar looked at Zuhn then back at the book. Zuhn stared at the book and began to read the first page.

"The first chapter is named 'Body Strengthening'" Zuhn started to read the first chapter. The first level of Body Strengthening read, 'The first level of Body Strengthening makes the starting points of your first foundation. Each level afterward makes your foundation stronger and better. To start the first level, you need to meditate and follow these steps.'

Scar also read the book over Zuhn shoulder, when Zuhn finished reading he looked at Scar.

"Do you understand any of these?"

"No, I never had the talent to do these types of things. I'm not even allowed to open the book, Only people with the special talent are able too."

Zuhn nodded his head and put the book back on the table.

"What? Why aren't you going to try and learn this?"

Zuhn didn't really care about learning cultivation, he liked the craft and skill of killing people with his knife. Though, he really needed to get a stronger one, because he is not going to work against other opponents with armor.

"Do you know a place around here that sells weapons?"

Scar nodded, "I know a place but they are very pricey. I also know a job we can do to make a little bit of money." Scar smiled before signaling Zuhn to leave the small shack.

At the central capital of the town, there were several elders and nobility talking about their Lieutenant being killed by a young teen.

"How did that small teen kill one of our best soldiers?" All of the people at the meeting also wanted to know. Lieutenant Green, was ranked 2 in the town, just under the young master. The Lieutenant was Bronze Level 2.

While the elders and nobility were talking about the situation, the young master was at the end of the table listening to them both. He suddenly burst out in anger over the men. He was mad that they were saying the Green lost to a young teen.

"That… That kid isn't simple, I don't think I can even touch him, I'm Bronze Level 3. I think that teen is at least Silver 1."

When the men at the table heard that the teen was around Silver 1, all their hearts shook. Silver 1 was a legendary level in their town, they only saw a couple of seniors come to their town at Silver 1.

One of the elders begin to speak, "Then what are we going to do?"

The young master looked at the elder then back at his book. "We are going to try and recruit him to join the army. Making us able to control him, we will offer him rewards. If we succeed we will be able to become a top power in the region."

The elders nodded their heads, they all liked the idea. Though they didn't know how they were going to convince a Silver 1, to join them. Silver's needed enormous amounts of resources for them to survive.

The young master brought up the idea of trying to get him with money because around the Fairbanks region there weren't any beasts. So, Zuhn couldn't get resources from that, maybe he was after money.

The elders agreed with the decision and prepared over half of their wealth. It came to a grand total of 800,000 thousand silver.

The slums was a very dirty place, people were all inside small shacks just like Scars. Only, most people were in small groups to avoid fighting between each other. Scar said that there were multiple factions in the slums that controlled different parts.

The Bandit Rascal Group was the leading group in the slums. They controlled almost all of the slums, making them the most powerful. Scar and his old friends knew that even people in the town were scared of the group. They thought it was a good idea for them to try and rob people outside of the city.

At first, they were making good money, but they later started to get noticed by the city guards nearby and went father out. Though, their last target was obviously Zuhn.

Zuhn started to slowly understand the situation in the slums and the spread of the power in the whole town. Scar told him about the main family that controlled the city. They were a total mess, the young master was a brat that messed up all the elders.

The brat just controlled the city through puppets, many people think that a young master is an evil person. Though, no one has really seen him, so they really don't know.

After walking for a couple of minutes, Zuhn and Scar came up to a small one-story building that had a small light inside. Scar walked up to the door and knocked on it three times.

A short time later a small woman slowly opened the door, when she saw Scar her eyes lit up and quickly opened the door for the two. When they both sat down, she got straight to business.

"Where are the others?" She walked over with a cup of tea in her hands while looking at Zuhn.

Scar slowly started to explain the story and who Zuhn was. The women's face stayed the same throughout the whole story until he got to the part of Zuhn killing Lieutenant Green.

"So, Charlotte, I'm sorry I couldn't get the money you wanted. But! Zuhn is very strong. So, I think that if you give me that job to kill that old man in the capital. I will be able to pay you back and I can make some money."

Charlotte didn't do anything at first, but she nodded her head slowly. She stopped looking at Zuhn and walked to the back of her house. She came back with a small piece of paper and a pen.

"The usual."

Scar grabbed the pen and wrote down his name and passed the pen to Zuhn. When Zuhn grabbed the pen and didn't do anything for a little bit, Scar remembered he probably hasn't done this before.

"Zuhn, You need to put your name and rank on the contract. Since you don't have a rank. You're with me, we are just normal people."

Zuhn looked up to Charlotte, "Who is it that we are killing, also how much are we going to be paid."

Charlotte laughed a little. "Honey, Listen here. You don't get paid until you kill the man. "

Zuhn was getting annoyed, He usually didn't kill for money. He liked to kill people because of the thrill he got from each one of his victims. This woman here was telling him just to go out and kill someone, it's not that he didn't mind, he just wanted some money to buy a weapon.

Zuhn took out his knife, "Now, Now, Zuhn calm down. Charlotte isn't a person you can mess with."

"You better listen to him before you get yourself hurt." Charlotte smiled and put down her tea. She turned around, at the same time Zuhn rushed at her. Right before he was about to pierce her neck, something stopped his knife.

Zuhn kept pushing, but the knife was stuck in mid-air. Charlotte turned around with red eyes and a big devilish smile on her face.
