"He has ulterior motives, that's what it is. He's been purposely letting me and my brother go freely whenever we cross paths."

"If he knew that we were there, then why did he let us go unharmed?" Lucia asked.

"I don't know. Anna and I might be part of his game, but whatever it is, I can certainly say that it's not gonna end well for us both."

At first, Aaron thought that Johan was only messing with him, but every time he has an encounter with the guy, there is always a smile on that face. A smile that indicates that there is more to this encounter than he thought.

No matter how many times the twins think about it, they just couldn't find the reason. They even got to the point that the reason why Johan is looking at them with such interest is that they are related to the Ricci family.

Being related to those people does have quite an effect on some other people's minds. Their view of you will change.

"Let's go. Our driver is already awake, we can leave now. We'll go directly to where your grandfather is, Aaron." Ophius said.

Just like what Anna said earlier, they will have to tell their grandfather what happened today immediately. Keeping it to themselves is not going to help anyone, especially them.

"I'm sorry, Young Master Ophius. I didn't-"

"Stop," Ophius said, stopping the driver from speaking any further. "It's not your fault, and even if you knew that he was behind you, there is nothing you could have done."

Whether or not he knew that Johan was behind him, there is nothing that the driver can do. In an instant, Johan could have taken his life anyway. The only good thing about this is that the driver is alive.

The driver's death could have caused more unnecessary trouble for the four of them.

"Mary, look at what I've found."

Mary and Mike are current in the basement of their target's mansion. They are looking for specific clues that could give them a lead. Now, Mike has found something very interesting.

"Targeting this Mafia family is the right thing, but they are not the only ones. This Mafia family is only half of our current enemy." Mike said as he showed Mary the contracts and all other important information.

"I see. This is quite an interesting development." Mary smirked. "Also, at the same time, I'm quite disappointed with these people. How can they keep such information here in the basement?"

When Mary told Mike to search with her in the basement it was only because she has a feeling that they will find something in here. But to think her 'feeling' was right, she can't help but laugh at the situation.

"Maybe they thought that no one would dare search this part of the mansion, right?" In Mike's opinion, hiding this information here is clever and at the same time so stupid.

The basement is the last place anyone could have ever thought of and the easiest to place to find.

"Let's go. It's time to let these people meet their end." Mary said in a menacing tone.

That tone gave shivers to Mike's body. It has been a while since he last heard her use that tone. Every time he hears that tone, it always gives him the excitement that he needs.

"Are we gonna let one alive?" Mike asked.

When their targets made an alliance with other people, they usually leave one person alive to tell the other enemies of what happened. That is a way for Mary and the others to send their warning to their enemy.

"Of course. We gotta make sure they are prepared for us. After all, it's not fun they are not prepared to welcome us."

Back at the twins' side, they are currently reporting everything to their grandfather. After doing so, their grandfather forces the twins and the other two to kneel.

"I can't believe that the four of you went on a mission with permission!" Marcus shouted in anger. "Now is not the right time for any of you to go on a mission! You four are giving me a headache!"

"Hey, I thought this mission was approved?" Aaron whispered to Lucia.

"Uhh... it was approved by me." Hearing that, both Aaron and Ophius are giving Lucia a glace.

"I can't believe you dragged me into this! You took a mission with anyone's permission?! My father is going to really kill me now! Ugh! I shouldn't have listened to you in the first place." Ophius is now having a hard time finding the right excuse to say once his father hears about this news.

"Seriously, Lucia? Why would you do that? If I have known that, I wouldn't have come in the first place. My mother is going to kill when she gets back." Not only did he skipped school, in which his mother firmly told him not to do it, he also got himself involve on a mission that is not even permitted by those who are higher than them.

"Stop with the whining, you two," Anna said in an irritated tone. Her knees are now hurting and she's trying her best to endure it, but if her brother and Ophius keep on talking and talking, she might lose her temper and say something unnecessary. "If we didn't go in the first place, do you really think that we have any idea what Johan is planning now? We will be oblivious of what Johan is doing and our parents will be caught off guard. Whether or not the mission was permitted, and get in trouble for it, it's was a good thing that we went."

"Anna..." Lucia is now in teary eyes because Anna is defending her. As soon as Anna heard her name, she glared at Lucia.

"However, Lucia, you are not in the right here. You're still in the wrong for taking a mission without permission from our seniors. This kind of action can get us a whole lot of trouble. If we didn't find anything from that place about Johan, then the punishment we're about to receive is not worth it."

Though she made a reasonable statement, Lucia is still not off the hook. Lucia is still at fault for why they are going to get punished. Even Anna is blaming Lucia that she got into this mess, and at the same time, she is thankful for Lucia.

'That information was a significant one. If we didn't have known about it now, my parents and their friends will be having trouble in the future.' Anna inwardly commented.

The four teenagers didn't realize it yet, but Marcus has stopped scolding them the moment Anna spoke up. He heard everything that Anna said and he couldn't be even more proud of how mature Anna's words are.

Although he is proud, he will not say it. He must keep his cold and angry expression to teach these young ones a lesson for not following the organization's rules.

"Since the four of you know that you are in trouble, then shall we decide on what punishment you four deserves?"

"Still haven't seen the twins? That's so not them. They never disappear without a word, unless something bad happened to them." Leon pondered. Unknown to him, he didn't notice the glare Nathalia is giving to him.

"Shut it, Leon! How can you say that like it's nothing! What if something did happen to them?"

Nathalia is now feeling guilty about the fact that she told Aaron to back off. If something did happen to them, she felt like it's because of her that Aaron decided to leave and Anna followed him.

"Stop imagining things, Nathalia," Josh said, then he patted Nathalia's head to calm her down. "And Leon, what on earth are you doing here? You're not even a part of this training."

When Zen mention their training session to Leon, Leon suddenly decided to follow them all the way here. It really surprised him when Leon suddenly attacked him from behind.

"I know. But I really want to see what kind of progress you guys are making." Since these trio's fathers are quite well-known, Leon is somewhat expecting that they are making good progress to live up to their father's name.

"Don't expect anything from them, Leon. They still have a long way to go." Zack suddenly interrupted.

His harsh comment made Zen clicked his tongue. Usually, he would talk back to his father, but his father's words are true. He and his friends still have a long way to go and they can't even proudly say that they are their fathers' children.

"I see. I guess my trip here is wasted." Leon said in a disappointed tone. He thought he gets to see Josh in action.

In his opinion, Josh has the most potential out of the three. Josh's eyes tell him that Josh is determined to become stronger for the sake of everyone that he loves. As for Nathalia, she wants to become stronger, but her reason is different. And lastly, Zen, he only wants to get stronger. Zen still doesn't know the reason why he wants to become stronger than he is now.
