Meng Lei scoffed. The Demonic Crystals in question here weren't the magic crystals[2] formed from magic power that people extracted from magic crystal mines in Heaven's Vault Continent. Rather, they were crystals formed from demonic aura and were worth roughly the same as Divinity Crystals.
3,000,000 Demonic Crystals were approximately equivalent to 3,000,000 Divinity Crystals. The price could be said to be ridiculously high. Disregarding how he didn't have many Demonic Crystals, to begin with, he wouldn't have born to buy the arm either—and this was in spite of the fact that he had great use for it.
Meng Lei turned and looked at the other products, among which the ones that came in abundance the most were demonic cores. Demons frequently fought and killed one another in the demon world, so what they lacked the least were demonic cores.

The Succubus persisted, almost pressing her full, ample chest right against Meng Lei. She even constantly gave him amorous looks, the coquettish air around her off the charts.

The Succubus froze for a moment, and then she promptly distanced herself from Meng Lei. Loathing and dislike filled her eyes as she looked at Meng Lei, and her expression became one of someone looking at a pauper.
Meng Lei was unaffected. After taking a casual look around, he got ready to leave. However, it was at this point that a cold and aloof low roar suddenly rang out outside.
“Where is the Ice Demon Prefecture Master? Get the hell out here and meet your end!”
The voice wasn't particularly loud, but it was extremely penetrative. It pierced through the air and passed through all obstacles to reach Meng Lei's ears, as well as everyone in the city. It was as though the voice had arisen in their hearts.
“A challenge to the Prefecture Master? O Demon Grandmaster above, a demon is actually challenging the Prefecture Master?”
The pretty Succubus' expression changed drastically in the store, and she ran out of the store like the wind.

The demon world's strict class stratifications were displayed to their fullest in this instant. The strong could stand in the sky while the weak could only stay on the ground docilely.
Every demon had its own position. No one dared to easily go against it.
“Who's so bold as to actually challenge our Prefecture Master?”
“Probably someone that doesn't cherish their life again?”
“How long has it been since our Prefecture Master was last challenged? 18,000 or 19,000 years?”
“In any case, it's nearing 20,000 years!”
“There's gonna be a good show now!”
The demons speculated wildly among themselves.
At this point, the demons suddenly noticed Meng Lei rising into the air and floating above them. For a moment there, all the demons became enraged.

“Trash, get the hell down here!”
“Where did that bastard come from? How dare you climb above me?!”
“You're courting death!”
Meng Lei was taken aback upon hearing the demons' cusses at him. Why didn't any of the demons grumble or whine about the other Demon Gods and Great Demon Gods floating in the air? Yet he couldn't for some reason?
“Where did that worm come from? Get the hell down there!”
Not only were the demons on the ground dissatisfied, but the Demon Gods and Great Demon Gods in the air also showed their displeasure. A Fire Demon God even straight-up attacked him.
Boom!
A huge palm of flames manifested out of nowhere and smacked brazenly at Meng Lei. The palm strike contained might so fearsome that even a Great Demon Lord would undoubtedly be smacked dead by it.
“That presumptuous piece of trash. Good call!”
All the demons gloated at the sight. They feared and revered powerful demons and would never ever allow a nameless weakling to lord over them!

The impact caused the demons to snap back to reality, and they broke out in cold sweat. Shock and horror filled their eyes as they looked at Meng Lei. In particular, those that had insulted and hurled verbal abuse at Meng Lei just now were all the more shaking in their boots and close to wetting themselves in fear.
“He… He's actually…”
The Succubus' jaw dropped. A look of incredulity flickered in her beautiful eyes. Never would she have ever thought that Meng Lei would actually be so powerful! He had jabbed a powerful Fire Demon God dead with just a finger!

A burly figure was floating in the sky a fairly great distance away at the moment.
It stood 10,000-feet-tall and looked like a Behemoth, except for its incredibly ghastly white skin tone. There was no hint of vitality in it at all. All it had was just an endless aura of death and corpse aura[3] around it.
“It's a Purgatory Corpse Emperor,” Meng Lei uttered.
“That's no ordinary Purgatory Corpse Emperor but a Purgatory Behemoth Corpse Emperor,” said Dodola as it corrected Meng Lei.
It said, “A demon like that is born when a dead Behemoth stays in unique environments, such as places where the stench of dead bodies pervades the atmosphere. It feeds on an endless supply of baleful aura, corpse aura, and the aura of death, and is immortal and indestructible.”
“A Purgatory Behemoth Corpse Emperor…” Meng Lei nodded slightly. “That Purgatory Behemoth Corpse Emperor is fairly powerful. Despite the great distance between us, I can nonetheless sense an intense threat coming from it.”
“It's undoubtedly a mid-level Great Demon God.” A smiling Dodola added, “There'll definitely be a fierce battle between giants coming up later. Pay close attention when you watch the battle later.”

“Ice Demon Prefecture Master, hurry and get out here and meet your end!”
The Purgatory Behemoth Corpse Emperor let out another deep roar. Rolling sound waves reverberated through the surroundings, instantly spreading throughout the skies above the boundless Ice Demon City.

Numerous figures rapidly shot out of the Prefecture Master's residence and into the sky above Ice Demon City. With numbers as many as 10,000,000, they were none other than the Ice Demon Prefecture Guards.
A Great Demon God-level Ice Demon Prefecture Guard let out a cold snort and barked, “State your name, challenger!”
“I am Cornelius Lattimore!” The Purgatory Behemoth Corpse Emperor replied coldly, “Hurry and summon your Prefecture Master out here. I'm here to challenge him!”
“Give me a moment!”
The Great Demon God took a good, close look at the Purgatory Behemoth Corpse Emperor before it returned to the Prefecture Master residence.
A brief moment later, a skinny and frail-looking Ice Demon that looked about the same size as a normal human appeared in mid-air.
At the sight of the Ice Demon, the 10,000,000 Ice Demon Prefecture Guards all got down on one knee and bowed formally.
“Greetings, Lord Prefecture Master!”
“Greetings, Lord Prefecture Master!”
All the demons in every corner of Ice Demon Prefecture also got down on their knees. The Demon Gods and Great Demon Gods watching the battle were the only ones that bowed slightly instead as a sign of respect.
“So, it's you that wishes to challenge me.”
The frail and skinny Ice Demon Prefecture Master yawned as it peered sleepily at the Purgatory Behemoth Corpse Emperor.
“That's right!”
The Purgatory Behemoth Corpse Emperor stated coldly, “Ice Demon Prefecture Master, you've taken steady possession of the Prefecture Master position for over 40,000 years. It's time that you abdicate your position and hand over the Prefecture Master throne!”
“Since you're aware that I've been Prefecture Master for over 40,000 years, then you should have also realized how strong I am. After all, there aren't many that can sit so firmly on the Prefecture Master throne for over 40,000 years,” replied the Ice Demon Prefecture Master leisurely.

During the last 40,000 years when the Ice Demon Prefecture Master had been Prefecture Master, they, the Ice Demons, had indeed enjoyed a higher status than other demons. Thus, they naturally didn't show the Purgatory Behemoth Corpse Emperor any courtesy and hoped that its challenge would end in failure.

“Scared? What an arrogant and ignorant fellow.”
The Ice Demon Prefecture Master shook its head lightly. Then, it said, “Go ahead and attack. I need to return to sleep after the challenge, so I don't have time to waste here.”
