Part 22: The School Festival Planning
**Part 22: The School Festival Planning**
The atmosphere in the classroom buzzed with excitement as the teacher, Mr. Sato, stood at the front with a wide grin. “Alright, everyone! The school festival is just around the corner, and it’s time for us to decide what our class booth will be! Remember, all proceeds will go to charity.”
A chorus of cheers erupted from the students, and the chatter quickly shifted to brainstorming ideas. Kyoshi leaned back in his chair, intrigued by the energy in the room. He glanced at the six girls sitting together at the front, knowing they would have some great suggestions.
“Okay, let’s hear some ideas!” Mr. Sato encouraged.
Yumi raised her hand, her eyes sparkling. “How about a baked goods booth? We could sell cookies and cakes! Everyone loves sweets!”
Hana chimed in, “That sounds great! But what if we did a craft booth? We could make and sell handmade items! It’d be unique!”
Reina, ever the spirited one, added, “How about a games booth? We could set up some fun challenges and have prizes!”
Keiko, her voice soft but firm, suggested, “Or we could do a movie screening. We can show a popular film and sell popcorn!”
Mayumi then spoke up, her tone thoughtful. “What if we created a nature-themed booth? We could have plants for sale and even set up a small garden display.”
Finally, Aiko, who had been quietly observing, said, “I think we should do something interactive, like a photo booth where people can take fun pictures with props.”
Kyoshi listened as the girls presented their ideas, admiring their creativity and teamwork. Each suggestion was met with nods of approval, and he could sense the enthusiasm building among their classmates.
As the discussion continued, Mr. Sato turned to the board and began writing down each idea. “Alright, let’s take a vote. Each of you will choose your favorite idea, and then we’ll see which one has the most support.”
The students began casting their votes, and Kyoshi observed as the tally on the board grew. The baked goods booth was leading, but the craft booth was close behind. The excitement was palpable as they anticipated the final results.
After several rounds of voting, the choices began to dwindle, and soon it was time for Kyoshi to cast his vote. He had been contemplating a unique idea of his own, one that he believed would truly capture the attention of the students and faculty alike.
As the votes were counted, Kyoshi raised his hand, catching Mr. Sato’s attention. “Can I suggest something?”
“Of course, Kyoshi! What do you have in mind?” Mr. Sato asked, intrigued.
Kyoshi took a deep breath, knowing it was a bold choice. “I think we should do a maid café.”
The classroom fell silent for a moment, and then a ripple of excitement spread. The boys exchanged glances, their eyes lighting up in unison.
“Man of culture!” one boy shouted, and laughter erupted around the room.
Mr. Sato raised an eyebrow, but a smile tugged at his lips. “A maid café, huh? That’s definitely a unique idea. What do you envision for it?”
Kyoshi explained his vision: a charming café atmosphere with decorations, themed outfits, and even special services where the “maids” would interact playfully with the customers. “It’ll be fun, and it’ll definitely attract attention!”
The boys cheered in agreement, and soon the girls looked intrigued as well. Yumi chuckled, “Well, it sounds like a lot of fun! I can help with the decorations!”
“I could design the menu!” Hana added enthusiastically.
“Count me in for serving!” Reina declared, her competitive spirit shining through.
Keiko nodded, a small smile on her face. “I’m on board too, as long as we keep it organized.”
Mayumi exchanged a glance with Aiko, who nodded in agreement. “Let’s make it special!”
As the votes were cast again, it became clear that Kyoshi’s idea had resonated with everyone. The classroom erupted in cheers as the final tally was announced, confirming that the maid café would be their booth for the festival.
Mr. Sato clapped his hands, bringing the excitement down a notch. “Alright, everyone! We have our booth! Now let’s start planning and working together to make it a success. This is a great opportunity to show our school spirit and help those in need!”
As the class buzzed with ideas, Kyoshi felt a sense of satisfaction wash over him. This festival wasn’t just about fun; it was about bringing people together, and he was thrilled to see everyone so invested. With Yumi, Hana, Reina, Keiko, Mayumi, and Aiko all on board, he knew this would be an experience they would cherish.
And as they began discussing the details, Kyoshi couldn’t help but smile. This was just the beginning of something special, and he was grateful to be a part of it with the girls who had come to mean so much to him.
