Overlord in Cultivation Chapter 30: The Lost Memories

“Does this lad slam the door in my face on purpose? Or he is really in cultivation?”

Elder Liang looked at the closed door helplessly. He had been here several times, but Su Yan didn’t answer the door and cultivated quite hard inside the room.

The Entrance Examination across Huaxia Alliance was almost over.

Su Yan was restless. When refining his spirit, he found some lost memories. 

Su Yan’s spirit seemed to have been hurt before. Buried in the deepest part of the spirit, the memories were dim and strange.

This was a bloody space, huge and endless.

Only a golden dragon roamed in the bloody space. Although its shape was blurred, Su Yan recognized it was the dragon from the dragon coffin on Mount Qomolangma.

Su Yan could even see the dragon coffin on Mount Qomolangma suspending between the heaven and the earth and being enveloped in the air of ancient desolation, as if it had hung there for a long long time.

Su Yan would never forget the dragon coffin on Mountain Qomolangma nor the real dragon!

The dragon’s roar shocked all heavens and hells, and resounded in the whole bloody space. And its breath fell on Su Yan’s body.

These pictures were so vague and Su Yan wondered what he had to do with the dragon. 

Unexpectedly, Su Yan saw two familiar people in this space!

Who were they?

Zu Yan and Yin Yisi! They were in the bloody space, too!

“What happened that year? How could Yin Yisi be in league with Zu Yan? Did the dragon bring all of us in this space?”

Su Yan frowned. It was impossible! Although Zu Yan’s antecedents dating back to a hundred years ago were still a mystery now, he knew Yin Yisi through and through!

He desperately controlled and directed the energy of the universe to strengthen his spirit, but to his dismay, he couldn’t remember more.

“Is my spirit too weak?”

Su Yan had to cultivate hard. He wanted to find out how he got in the college.

But a hundred years of memories seemed to be too dark and became a complete a blank.

Lin Wanlan would be surprised if she were here that his spirit was strong enough to control objects!

While he was lost in thought, he found someone outside.

Su Yan was astonished by this, and it was like he had another eye! Now, his consciousness could go through the wall!

He marveled, “How powerful the Soul-refining Manual is! I need to practice it all the time and strengthen my soul to a higher level!”

Although Su Yan failed to recall his memory, he saw a hope.

Elder Liang came again. The exam was had been over.

Seeing Su Yan come out, Elder Liang gave a wry smile and said, “Gosh! You came out! Finally!”

Hearing this, Su Yan said, “I’m sorry! I’ve been so obsessed with practicing the Soul-refining Manual. I’m so sorry to keep you waiting for such a long time.”

“Let’s get in.”

Even if Tang Yi won the Soul-refining Manual on a bet, you’d better not tell anyone else about it. Otherwise, things would get out of control.”

“Thanks for reminding me. I’ll keep it a secret.” Su Yan nodded, since Tang Yi had told him about it.

“The champion has been decided?” Su Yan asked.

“Yes, almost! There is a guy with special corporeity called Thunder Body in Huaxia City.”

“Body-cultivating Pill?” Su Yan’s pupils shrunk, “What is it?”

Elder Liang sang its praises, “Body-cultivating Pill is a third-level elixir refined by chemists. Just like medical liquids, Body-cultivating Pills are made from infrequent materials and even some ores that are scarcely seen on earth. They are so rare that only three or five of them could be produced yearly in our Huaxia Alliance!”

Su Yan was astounded at the low output of Body-cultivating Pill. They must be priceless!

“If one with five hundred horsepower takes a pill, he has a fifty percent chance of breaking own potential limit and gaining greater potential,” Elder Liang said in amazement. “In some previous experiments, some people gained six hundred and seventy horsepower after taking the bill!”

A smile climbed up Su Yan’s face. He knew besides the third-level elixir - Body-cultivating Pill, there would be other incredible resources provided to him.

“Well enough. You can prepare for tomorrow’s trip to the Huaxia College.”

Elder Liang had no intention of sticking around. Su Yan was now apparently in a great mood because of his promising future.

He left his dorm to visit Tang Yi who, after hearing the whole “Body-cultivating Pill” thing, was visibly touched by the magical pills. Tang Yi nodded, “Body-cultivating Pill is wonderful. It not only helps you gain strength but also helps to converge supernatural power in you. It will do you big favors in awakening.”

“Please be careful in Huaxia College. Think twice before you act, okay?” Tang Yi exhorted Su Yan.

“I have only one friend in Huaxia College. I have texted him and he promised he would secretly look after you.” Tang Yi’s words put Su Yan in a trance, “Oh right! Senior Tang, please enlighten me. “Aha, Su Yan. See you again. You know I’d love to see who’s gonna accept you as a disciple, 'cause in Huaxia College you’re worthless without a mentor!”

Tao Tianhua looked down upon Su Yan as always and sneered silently, “I’m not done with you yet!”

“What?” Su Yan noticed a fiery qi coming out of the Dragon Totem!

This was the sign of numerous treasures coming to light. “At least a dozen of treasures.” He looked at the wilderness with astonishment.

“Is something big happening in the wilderness again?”

Elder Liang still hadn’t arrived. Su Yan couldn’t help wondering, “Are there treasures discovered in the wilderness?”
