The place that Cheon Jeong usually took them to wasn't on the base floor within the mountain. Just like most of the things around, it could only be reached by a hidden mechanism door.

After climbing up the revealed stairs, the group arrived at an opened-up stone room. Clouds floated around them, creating a scenery that was hard for Leo to see even on the internet. They were standing high in the sky!

Like a window that could be used to overview the world from above, the stone platform made for a very poetic dining site. Although this was only accessible for the small group thanks to Cheon Jeong, just the occasional visits were satisfying enough.

"Not going to share how you came to be the so-called 'Four Heavenly Beasts'?"

As usual, Cheon Jeong started the conversation once they started properly eating. Chit-chat was enjoyable, but she particularly liked to hear about their stories as newbies who were experiencing the world from the start all over again.

"It all started with Baekho's performance at the Sword Conference…"

"Yeon unni does use Master's unique blade style, but she still gets called a 'Heavenly Beast' since Baekho orabeoni technically equals two…"

"I guess it's not a stretch to call little Yeon and little Ho as one. hehe…"

While Leo ate silently in preparation for his next step, the other three told the tale as they knew. Though it was practically Cheon Sohee who did most of the work, it was obvious that the Yeon and Cheon Yong had grown more interactive as they matured.

"Oh… You should come join if you are already here."

The Blade Spirit suddenly turned her face towards the stone platform's entrance, Cheon Chang's stiff face appeared with his back facing the wall. It seemed like this was another rare occasion where he chimed in to complete the family atmosphere!

"Since we are all joined up, might as well brief you about our little adventure."

With a tray that appeared out of nowhere, Cheon Chang sat down to share his food with the little group. It felt like an illusion, but Leo thought he saw his stiff face relaxing for a second there…

"According to what we know… There is supposed to be a hidden Azure Tree surfacing on one of the plains close to Mount Heaven. Considering that you are all standing before the door of transcendence…"

An Azure Tree! A tree manifested through the concentration of the world's laws!

Although it was something that might not even appear throughout an entire era, the Azure Tree's value completely made up for its rarity. Whoever managed to consume the Sky Fruits that it bore would be basically set for life!

A normal human could be suddenly elevated to the level of a 1st rate Martial Artist in days, while a Martial Artist with poor talent could turn into a genius overnight, achieving a stream of constant breakthroughs! The old and the sickly could grow younger and healthier, while animals could directly ascend to become Supreme True Beasts! The SKy Fruit was undoubtedly an item that followed the mighty Miracle Elixir template!

However, regardless of all people who could benefit from its magical abilities, the Sky Fruit was best known for achieving transcendence! Not only did it completely slap away the hurdle of breaking out of one's shackles, but the Martial Artist who used it to do so would most certainly receive some form of 'Transcendent Power'.

The Absolute Spear remained silent as Cheon Jeon reiterated the information that his Spear Manor had recently reported, but the gleam in his eyes couldn't be hidden. He was undeniably looking forward to this, perhaps even more than the Blade Spirit.

"We can't completely tell for sure, but the false emergences that we observed before this one point at the upcoming emergence as the true one! If the cycle in our records isn't wrong, all four of you might be able to take a solid step forward."

Unfortunately, nothing was that simple to get. The signs of an Azure Tree's emergence weren't that hard to notice but to encounter a fully matured tree was highly unlikely.

Like a childish brat who liked to play pranks on adults, the Azure Tree would at least emerge a dozen times while bearing nothing, or the Sky Fruits would still be in their undeveloped useless form. Thus causing a useless ruckus every now and then.

'It will indeed be a true emergence, but…'

The four of them had basic knowledge of the Azure Tree as well as plenty of other Elixirs and True Beasts since they were part of their study subjects in the Heavenly Furnace. Whether it was Yeon, Sohee, or Yong, none of them seemed to be particularly excited due to the role that luck played, but that wasn't the case for Leo.

"I don't think we should go…"

Breaking out of the silence that he assumed since the start of the meal, Leo spoke out worryingly, trying his best to show the emotions that he usually kept to himself.

"Eh?"

"At least, not this early."

The Azure Tree and its fruits simply weren't meant for them!

Cheon Jeong turned to Leo, replacing her cheery smile with a serious frown. She knew that Leo was the most sensible within the group under her supervision. He was also the one that actively acted as the leader even if it wasn't said out loud, for him to openly defy the orders coming from high up was…

"Do you know something?"

This specific Azure Tree falling without their domain had made it so they could control the phenomena of its emergence, anyone would have to specifically look for it to notice this heavenly opportunity. The worst-case outcome was simply to return empty-handed after being pranked one more time.

Compared to everything that this irregular genius had experienced lately, the upcoming adventure was more like a picnic rather than a dangerous mission. There had to be a story behind his worry…
