No Matter How Long Time Passes, I Still Love You Chapter 27: You Can Never Be Me

After eating, Chen Mu drove her close to the West dock so that she wouldn't have to walk too far to get to where they're meeting. With red alerts all over his mind, Chen Mu pretended to drive off, but remained a close distance to make sure Susu was safe.

When Karen saw Susu arrive, she sent a text to Tian Yuo, knowing that he was in his office. Estimating from his office to the dock would take around twenty minutes, there was more than enough time for her to do what she wanted to do. 'This would give me enough time. Heh.'

Karen lured Susu closer to the waters to prove that what she was about to disclose were all true. When they were around ten years old, Karen drowned in front of everyone. Since then, everyone thought that she was scared of water. Nobody would have thought that a ten-year-old child would pretend to drown to avoid having to take swimming lessons. In fact, she was secretly, a great swimmer.

Till today, Susu also has the same impression of her being afraid of large bodies of water. When they reached near the end of the dock, Karen started initiating the conversation.

"Sis, it's been a while. The last time I saw you, we were in our house when dad fought for your wedding. How is married life treating you? Good?" The mockery in her voice was evident. She was obviously pinpointing where it hurts the most.

"Forget about the rest of the crap that you have to say. Just show me the pictures that you said you had and get straight to the point. What happened that night?" Susu asked without beating around the bushes.

"Aiyo, what's the rush? Would pacing up the speed help your lost chastity revive? Yin Susu, I hated you from the bottom of my heart. Did you know that?"

"Why?"

"Because of you, my mother could only be the second wife, and I will always be the child of daddy's second wife. I'm the second child whom should've never been conceived. How great would it be for you to have died right at birth? Or a mishap?"

Susu smirked, "So you've hated me illogically since young? Whose fault is it that you got conceived? Go home and cry to your dear wicked mother for why she climbed onto my father's bed and took advantage of him when he was drunk and grieving for my dead mother!"

"Did you know that while growing up, our relatives loved comparing us? From our looks to our academics and how bright our futures looked. Whenever I hear the needle piercing comments, I would have the urge to sew their lips together one by one to make a quilt. Not only were they always complimenting you over me, even when you wore the plainest outfits, you were the spotlight!"

"Okay, so you were envious of the attention I received from other strangers and you were jealous that I came from my mother's womb. Alright, this makes so much sense. Cool story bro, continue." Susu rolled her eyes at her ridiculous words.

"Since then, I've had the thought of taking every single thing away from you, especially precious ones. The money that daddy raged about going missing. It was me who framed you up. I wanted to prove to you that anyone can destroy relationships with just a few words and cries. Of course, when daddy slapped you, I joyfully cheered inside my heart. I couldn't believe how easy it was to get you kicked out of the house!"

"So that was all your doing....you vicious wench." Susu's hand formed two tight fists that her knuckles showed up.

"Not only that. Snatching Tian Yuo from you and destroying your world. Everything went so smoothly that I wanted to give myself a round of applause. I even patted my shoulders after seeing how successful the incident ended up. Didn't you want to know about that night? How did it feel to wake up losing your virginity and sucking up that huge responsibility of drugging my fiance?"

"You're a f*cking psycho. All of this was done for not even revenge! This is pure jealousy! Your heart is so damn twisted that I can't believe someone like you even exist!!!

"Haha, humans always use each other to reach their own goals. If you believe in people this easily, then you are the fool. I'm teaching you a lesson right now, so you should be thanking me." Karen noticed Tian Yuo's car driving from a close distance and started stepping backwards little by little.

Susu glared at her scornfully, "Did you think that doing all this would make you happy? If you think that way, then you're the most stupid person in this entire universe. When you committed all these things, you did it out of desperation. You wished you could have everything that I have, and that's precisely why you tried to take them away from me."

She coughed lightly and cleared her throat, "But instead of taking anything away from me, you made me realize how many irrelevant things that I don't have to care for in my life. You wanted dad's attention? Go ahead, because I ended up finding what I wanted to do with my life, my career. You might think that you took Tian Yuo from me, but to be honest, he never belonged to me."

Karen worriedly screamed, "What do you mean?!!"

"Why would I feel pain for someone who never loved me? I already gave him up. Only you would want this shoe that I've thrown away. Just like the flawed design with the roses that you stole from me. You only deserve getting my used things. Karen Yin, you'll never be like me and can never be me because you're missing the most important quality; confidence."

As soon as she said that, Karen ran towards Susu and pulled her arm. From Tian Yuo's angle, he didn't see Karen initiating the pull. In his perspective, Karen was struggling to break away from Susu's hands and looked extremely scared. After seeing their tug of war, he ran towards the dock to rescue Karen.

Chen Mu rushed towards the dock when he saw Karen's abnormal behavior. 'She was trying to pull Susu into the water!'

Before any of them got to the dock, Karen and Susu both fell into the deep, cold water.
