No Matter How Long Time Passes, I Still Love You Chapter 160: I Met Qian Ling

Upon entering the conference room at the hospital, everyone gathered around Ariana. Susu and Lily ran to give her a tight hug, but blocked by Chen Nan.

Susu's lip twitched, "Don't tell me you are getting jelly over a hug?"

Lily smiled, "It's not like we are going to eat her up."

Ariana also pouted when their reunion hug was interrupted. Chen Nan cleared his name by circling his arms around his wife and said, "I'm not jelly of anyone, but you guys almost squashed my child. Of course I have to stop you!"

"Child?" Everyone blinked and stared at his victory smile as if he had won the jackpot. Ariana nodded and fondled her stomach, "It's still very early, but we're going to be parents."

"Wow!!! Congratulations!!" Before Chen Nan could thank their blessing words, he was pushed aside. Everyone helped her to an empty chair and made sure she wasn't feeling tired from all the work she's done.

Lin Que and Chen Mu leaned on either side of Chen Nan's shoulders, "Buddy, this is how it feels like to have a kid."

"Well...them doting on my wife and child is the same as doting on me." He tried his best to think positively.

Ariana felt extremely moved with the way everyone looked after her. Suddenly, she sat up and said, "No time for this! I have very important news to tell you guys. I met Qian Ling!"

Everyone shut up at that moment and found a seat to settle in. Their solemn expressions almost scared the pregnant lady. Without needing anyone to urge her to talk, she said, "I met Qian Ling by chance. She was the one who saved me from the guards and helped me escape. I wanted to bring her out of that hell hole, but she couldn't leave."

Spreading the map on the table, she explained, "She said the enemy had a tracking device somewhere in her body. She was also poisoned and her time is limited. She gave me this map saying it was her personal sketch. It's amazingly detailed, and we can definitely figure things out with this map in hand."

Rummaging through her small waist bag, she took out the pill she took from Qian Ling's container. "Here, this is the pill that delays the poison from her body. This is for you three to figure out. We need to save her life quick because she has less than half a container of these pills left."

Slapping the wrapped pill on the table, she pushed it towards Chen Mu, Lin Que and Chen Nan's direction.

"Also, she told me that the leader of the whole experiment is from the Shi family. We need to thoroughly investigate on this matter and dig for the main reason why they created the damn labs!"

After saying all that in one breath, she calmed down and regulated her breathing again. Chen Mu took the white pill and examined it with Lin Que on the spot. Since there weren't any prescriptions, it could take them weeks to figure out what the pill was made up of.

Susu asked, "Did you get a chance to see if there were other people in the labs?"

Ariana shook her head, "No. I only managed to get into one bloody as hell room with a meat grinding machine. There were left over human organs. Qian Ling told me it was what guards used to torture intruders. From our conversations, she told me how she helped victims escape."

Reading the map in hand, they started comparing the symbols that Li Shen Wen had drawn to the map. After matching most of them to the map, Zi Yan said, " Li Shen Wen didn't lie to us. For now, let's get Ariana settled for a body examination to make sure everything is fine with her and her child. Get the pill to the lab and work on it immediately."

"We need to work on finding an antidote for Qian Ling and a way to get to her again. That tracker in her body is another issue we need to address. Either we defeat the enemy and save her or get to her first, then destroy the enemy. Anyways, that's all we could do for now."

Chen Nan helped Ariana get up from her seat to the examination room. As she stood up, she asked, "Where's Alexander?" Nobody mentioned anything about him to her. Frowning, she looked around the room to see no traces of him anywhere.

"He should be awake by now. We operated on him and the anesthesia wasn't completely gone yet." Chen Mu answered.

"Can I see him before I do my body exam?" She looked at Chen Nan with pleading eyes as if she would worry to death if she didn't see him with her own eyes.

"Okay, but you can't act recklessly when you see him. His back was injured severely, so they had to wrap thick layers of bandages around his torso." She nodded and followed Chen Nan to Alexander's room.

From the entrance of his room, she could see him sleeping on his side with a layer of sweat on his forehead. Her arms trembled seeing his injuries and didn't dare touch him anywhere.

"Alexander?" she whispered gently as if she was afraid to startle him awake.

"Ariana?" Alexander opened his eyes to meet her beautiful worried eyes.

Smiling, he said, "I'm glad to see you safe."

Chen Nan rubbed her arms as she controlled her tears, "mmm. I'm glad you're alive too. You need to get better so that we could go back to the underground tunnel together."

Hearing her words, an unexplainably complex expression appeared on his face. "You guys can't go back there. You're lucky to escape this time. You might end up dead next time."

She tried persuading him to guide them since he was more familiar with that place than they are. Stubbornly refusing her request, he closed his eyes tight and said, "I want to rest. Please leave."

Chen Nan could tell that Alexander was looking out for them and really didn't want them to encounter any danger. Therefore, he convinced Ariana to do her body checkup first, leaving Alexander alone.

On their way out of the room, Alexander mouthed, "I'm sorry, but I can't let you find him."
