Naruto is Reincarnated Chapter 168: Staring Helplessly

(BOOM!) A massive shockwave emerged out of nowhere.

"What in the world is that?" Lee asked.

"No time to explain," Sasuke bit his finger.

(Poof!)

Aoda appeared beneath Sasuke.

"Jump!" Sasuke shouted.

Neji and Lee didn't waste their time and got on.

"Go! AODA!" Sasuke commanded.

HIISSSS!!!! Aoda slithered his way out immediately just milliseconds before the shockwave could hit them.

(BOOM!) The shockwave continued to give chase after the four.

"What do we do?" Lee asked as he walked towards Sasuke to hand over his sword.

Sasuke collected his sword and looked at Neji.

"You can see long distances, right?" Sasuke asked.

Neji understood what he had to do.

Neji focused his eyes to search for distant targets.

*sh!*

His eyes scanned about.

"But, Sasuke-kun"

"That Shockwave appeared out of nowhere, did it not?" Lee asked.

"…" Sasuke chose to remain silent, for he knew that the shockwave from earlier was no mere coincidence. It was a shockwave transported through teleportation.

If anything was related to teleportation, it had to be Naruto or the Fourth Hokage.

(Boom,) The shockwave finally seized signs of an explosion.

(crash!)

Sasuke followed by Lee and Neji jumped off of Aoda's back.

"What is it?" Sasuke asked.

"That's Naruto and…" Neji paused.

"And?" Sasuke asked, but little did Neji understand that the pieces of dust that floated around with unlimited chakra were Minato's reanimation body.

"Where are they?" Sasuke asked.

"About 2.7 kilometers up North," Neji explained.

Sasuke looked at Lee.

"Lee,"

"You and Neji stay right here,"

"I'll go and check it out," Sasuke said following which he quickly jumped onto Aoda's back.

"WAIT!" Neji shouted, however, Sasuke had already traveled a few meters away from the two.

"Don't worry,"

"Sasuke-kun can handle himself," Lee assured.

"It's not that,"

"His tenketsus (chakra points) are still blocked…" Neji said.

"eh," Lee was confused.

Neji thought back to what Hiashi said during his training.

("The Eight Trigrams Sixty Four Palms technique was useless against Naruto. Did that mean that it was ineffective against Sasuke as well? Also, what was that yellow colored Sharingan eyes?") Neji asked himself as he stared at Sasuke's departing back…

"Neji," Lee called out.

"Hmm?" Neji looked at Lee.

"What was that about Naruto?" Lee asked.

"I don't know…"

"All I can say is, his Chakra network is currently burdened by another dense chakra that's damaging his system," Neji explained.

"Then we have to go help Naruto," Lee answered immediately.

"Wait!" Neji shouted upon seeing Lee prepare to jump.

"Neji,"

"Naruto once saved my life during Chūnin exams,

"He visited me in the hospital with a get well basket and stopped me from going out of control in the restaurant," Lee explained causing Neji to think back to all these incidents…

"I must help Naruto now," Lee said, following which he quickly traveled in the direction that Sasuke had proceeded in.

"Damn it," Neji cursed his luck and followed Lee.

On the other side of the battlefield…

Berserk Naruto stared at the field devoid of any living being.

Since Naruto's eyes were blinded by bloodlust, he failed to notice Shū floating right above the area where Minato was blasted into pieces.

Slowly the pieces gathered to reform Minato once again.

"GRR!!!!" The berserk Naruto growled.

Minato, on the other hand, realized that this Naruto was more dangerous than he thought, this was because, usually when Minato performed his flying thunder god - guiding thunder formation, any attack he teleported always got teleported in whole, but somehow this attack seemed to home in on his location.

"Shū-kun," Minato called out once again.

"yes?" Shū asked.

"Can't you help us?" Minato asked.

"I am,"

"I just figured out why he is in this uncontrollable state," Shū said.

(Whoosh!)

Naruto's chakra hand extended to grab Minato.

(Whoosh!)

Minato simply teleported away…

(Bang!)

The chakra hand smashed the place where Minato stood.

"Why is he like this?" Minato asked.

Shū frowned for a second, during which Minato was forced to doge again.

(Bang!) another place was smashed.

(Whoosh!) Minato appeared next to Shū.

"Its a curse bestowed by a member of the main clan," Shū explained.

"A curse?" Minato asked as he teleported away.

(Bang!)

"AAAHHHH!!!!!" The Berserk Naruto let out a growl seeing his attacks failed to hit Minato.

"Can you suppress the curse?" Minato asked.

"That's what I am trying to do," Shū replied.

That's when Minato understood that the Shū he spoke to was just an image, whereas the real one was inside Naruto.

"Will his memories be sealed again?" Minato asked.

"That's one method of doing it, But I am trying to suppress it while having him remember those memories," Shū replied.

"I see…" Minato said as he teleported again to avoid another attack.

(Bang!) Naruto's chakra hand struck nothing but loose Soil.

"AAAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!" Naruto growled in irritation; however, at this moment, he suddenly turned towards his left.

("So that's Naruto huh?") Sasuke stared at Naruto in berserk mode.

"ARGH!" Naruto unleashed a chakra hand that rapidly closed in on Sasuke who sat on Aoda's head.

(Whoosh!) Minato immediately teleported away with Sasuke.

(GUSH!)

Blood suddenly rained over a small area.

(Whoosh!)

Sasuke and Minato appeared a few meters away from their previous location, but what they saw made their hair stood on end.

"AAOOODDAAAA!!!!" Sasuke screamed upon almost losing his mind after seeing his summoned being crushed to a bloody meat paste.

"Sasuke, You must leave this place immediately," Minato said as he teleported away with Sasuke in the direction Sasuke came from.

"…" Sasuke, however, stared silently at the spot where Aoda was crushed.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHH" The berserk Naruto screamed, following which he immediately gave chase.

"Oh no…" Minato felt a shiver down to his spine upon seeing the speed that berserk Naruto traveled in, almost quickly closing in on their current position.

(Whoosh!)

Minato flashed to a few more meters away.

"Neji-kun"

"Lee-kun" Minato immediately picked those two up and teleported out of their current position.

(Bang!)

The berserk Naruto smashed the place where Minato last stood only to see that it had failed again.

"AAARRGGHHH"

"AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!" The berserk Naruto growled on and on.

(Whoosh!)

Minato appeared with Sasuke, Neji, and Lee in the Hokage Office Building.

"You three, stay here in the building," Minato said following which he teleported away immediately.

"But… Naruto-kun is in danger…" Lee stared at the space where Minato once stood in.

"What is happening?"

"Who is that guy? Also, why was Naruto like that?" Neji asked only to see Sasuke being completely silent.

"Did something happen, Sasuke-kun?" Lee asked.

However, Sasuke remained utterly unfazed as he thought back to the image of AODA being crushed.

("Just what is that thing?") Sasuke asked himself as he thought back to the image of Berserk Naruto seeking to kill anything within its range of sight.

(Whoosh!)

Minato reappeared where Naruto was.

"Shū-kun," Minato called out.

The Berserk Naruto immediately reacted by sending its arm forward.

"I still need some time," Shū said.

Minato frowned seeing that the situation was going to hold out for a while…

(Whoosh!) Tobirama appeared next to Minato.

"What did I miss?" Tobirama asked.

"Gah!" Berserk Naruto shot out another shockwave from his mouth.

(Bang!)

Tobirama got blasted into bits.

("This is bad…")

("If the First appears to help then he wouldn't even have the chance to comprehend anything before he is destroyed.") Minato was worried.

(Whoosh!)

Berserk Naruto appeared right behind Minato.

< Flying Raijin Stage 2 > Minato threw out a kunai and teleported away.

(Bang!) Berserk Naruto missed Minato and smashed the ground once again.

Minato's facial expression became serious as he drew out a couple of his kunais.

(Whoosh!)

The kunais were deployed in random locations across the field.

("Kurama") Minato called out from within.

("You need my help don't you,") The Yin Kurama asked from within.

("Hehe,") Minato gave a light chuckle.

*sh!*

A Yellow-Red Cloak appeared around Minato.

"GRR!!!!" Berserk Naruto growled at Minato.

"Let's go!" Minato said following which he started to teleport at light speed flashing between all the different kunais.

The Berserk Naruto, on the other hand, was busy watching the light show in front of him as his eye followed Minato without missing a beat.

At this moment, Tobirama recovered his body and was finally able to stand upright.

("That's the Fourth for you…")

("The Yellow Flash isn't just for display…") Tobirama praised internally as he stared at Minato using the developed form of his original jutsu.

Shū, who was inside Naruto, felt his soul waver from exhaustion as he kept inscribing formulas with his fingers to bind the killing intent that was leaking out.

("Damn it,")

("At this rate, I might disappear…") Shū sighed as he tried to maintain his consciousness.

("Hopefully I should be able to recover my power by the time those two time-travel jumps that I had promised will be necessary…") Shū thought as he continued to write the formulas.

Meanwhile, outside on the battlefield…

"AAARRGGHHH!!!!" Berserk Naruto sent its chakra arm and finally grabbed hold of Minato.

He then bought Minato closer to himself as he stared in anger.

"I'm here!" A voice interrupted.

"Brother,"

"Lord First," Tobirama and Minato called out at the same time.

(Bang!)

Before they could react, Hashirama was blown into bits by Naruto's sudden Shockwave attack.

"…" Tobirama and Minato stared with poker faces.

("Minato,")

("I think there's a way you might be able to solve this on your own,") Kurama said from within.

("Please, tell me,") Minato begged.

("You think you are strong enough?") Kurama asked.

("huh?") Minato was confused.

("You'll have to use your chakra to pull out Naruto's chakra away from him,") Kurama suggested.
