"As long as there's hope, I still feel he can redeem himself," Hashirama said slowly.

"Even if he does, there's no running away from the Uchiha brat if he wants his revenge," Tobirama said.

"How's everything on your side?" Tobirama asked.

"I've been helping out by neatly making sleepers for the new railway tracks,"

"By the way things are going, the construction will start after the event," Hashirama said.

("It's time to complete that training,") Sasuke thought following which he looked at Jūgo.

"Jūgo," Sasuke called out.

"Yes, Elder brother?" Jūgo responded.

"I am going out for training right now,"

"Is there anything you need which I can buy on the way back?" Sasuke asked.

Jūgo shook his head.

"I have everything I need right here brother," Jūgo smiled.

"I see…"

"I'm off then…" Sasuke said as he turned towards the gate and headed out.

Back in the Hidden Cloud Village on an Island Turtle…

Bee stood by a tree as he stared at the Falls of truth.

("Bee,") Gyūki called out.

("Hmm…?") Bee responded.

("What do you think of that nine tails brat taking the lead of all the Jinchūrikis?") Gyūki asked.

The world ain't fine ♪" Bee rapped.

("Stop rapping,") Gyūki said.

The tailed beasts may not have gotten along with each other.

A figure exited the waterfall.

The woman was Yugito Nii, the jinchūriki of the two-tailed Matatabi.

"Next up, we gonna battle," Bee said.

Yugito unleashed her two-tailed chakra form.

"Get ready!" She warned Bee.

Back in the Great Elder Sage Hall of Mount Myoboku…

"The boy who calls the nine names, you are not to bring the tailed beasts together,"

"If you do, there will be a war between villages," The sage said.

"Eh…?" Naruto stared at the Great Elder.

"The hidden villages will go to war?" Lord Fukasaku asked in disbelief.

"True," The Great Elder nodded.

("Oy, Naruto,") Kurama called out.

("What are you going to do?") Kurama asked.

Naruto closed his eyes as he went into deep thought.

A moment later he smiled.

("The great elder said that I am not to bring them together, doesn't mean that I cannot save them,") Naruto grinned internally.

("You know you cannot protect them from the shadows,")

("What's the plan, Naruto?") Kurama asked.

("I still need to think of one. However, the only way is to have them fend for themselves,") Naruto said following which he looked at the elder sage.

"I understand…" Naruto bowed towards the Great Elder Sage.

"Thanks for the prophecy elder sage," Naruto said following which Naruto and Lord Fukasaku left the hall together.

*Sound of footsteps*

Naruto and Lord Fukasaku walked side by side.

"Lord Fukasaku,"

"Naruto," a voice called out.

"Gamma Boss?" Naruto looked at Gamma Bunta who was sitting on the grass that was by the side of the footpath.

"What are you doing here?" Naruto asked.

*croak*

A small frog appeared by Gamma Bunta's side.

"Old Geezer and a kid, eh?" The frog mocked.

"Gamma Kichi, watch your mouth," Gamma Bunta warned.

"How are you little one?" Lord Fukasaku smiled.

"I'm fine," Gamma Kichi replied.

Naruto walked over to Gamma Kichi.

"Sup, Gamma Kichi," Naruto smiled.

"What's a kid like you doing here in Mount Myoboku," Gamma Kichi asked.

"Haha,"

"I went to hear Great Elder's prophecy," Naruto said.

"What?" Gamma Kichi was stunned.

"Here," Naruto bent down and gave a chips packet.

"A small gift for our first meeting," Naruto said.

"Hehe,"

"Like the way, your mind works kid,"

"I like ya," Gamma Kichi said as he collected the bag of chips from Naruto.

"How ya doin boss?" Naruto asked.

"I'm okay,"

"compared to me, you seem to be doing well for yourself kid," Gamma Bunta smiled.

"Haha," Naruto laughed.

Soon Naruto bid goodbye following which he went back to the Hidden Leaf village using the teleportation well.

(Whoosh!)

Naruto appeared a kilometer or two away from the village.

("Time to go back to training I guess…") Naruto thought.

Haruno Residence, Hidden Leaf Village…

"Mama,"

"I'm heading out," Sakura said as she closed the door.

"Be back early tonight," Her mom said from inside.

"I Will!" Sakura replied back.

Sakura was on her way to the Hidden Leaf General Hospital.

Her decision to go was considered after her conversation with Naruto the previous night.

("I will ask Tsunade-sama to take me in as her personal disciple,") Sakura thought as she walked through the streets.

"Huh…?" Sakura's eyes landed on a figure seated by a restaurant.

"Sakura," Karin called out.

"Karin," Sakura responded.

"One Katsudon!" The waiter placed Karin's order on her table.

"You like Katsudon, I see…" Sakura said after observing Karin's expressions.

"Yeah,"

"Back when I was in Hidden Grass, this was the only good thing I could get my hands on," Karin said.

Karin then took a bite.

After chewing, she looked at Sakura,

"Where were you going?" Karin asked.

"that?"

"Umm…"

"I was…" Sakura was hesitating to speak.

"I was planning to go to meet Tsunade-sama later…" Karin said as she took another bite.

"You too?" Sakura asked.

"Yeah, I had some doubts from our previous lessons…" Karin said.

"Let's head there together then," Sakura smiled.

Soon Sakura and Karin made their way to the Hospital.

"Is Tsunade-sama in?" Sakura asked at the reception.

"Sakura,"

"Karin," A voice called out.

Sakura and Karin turned around to see Shizune holding ton-ton in her hands.

*Oink!*

Ton-ton stared at Sakura and Karin.

"Tsunade-sama, wanted me to call you two over,"

"It's a good thing you guys came here by yourselves," Shizune said.

"Tsunade-sama wanted to see us both?" Sakura and Karin looked at Shizune.

"They're here!" Shizune said as she entered the room, followed by Sakura and Karin.

"Tsunade-sama,"

"You called us?" Sakura asked as the two stared at Tsunade.

"Yeah,"

"I wanted to discuss something with you two," Tsunade said as she looked at the two.

"Do you two want to be my personal disciple?" Tsunade asked.

("WHAT?")

("She asked us the question I wanted to ask?") Sakura was surprised.

"What about Ino and Hinata?" Karin asked.

"Those two have inheritances from their clan, unlike you two," Tsunade said.

"I see…" Karin murmured.

"I accept!" Sakura said as she bowed towards Tsunade.

"Mm!" Tsunade nodded in approval following which she looked towards Karin.

"I also accept!" Karin bowed towards Tsunade.

"Very Good!" Tsunade stood up from her table and approached the two.

"Aside the regular classes, from tomorrow onwards be prepared to face hell every day," Tsunade said as she placed her hands on the duo's shoulders.

"Follow Me!" Tsunade said as she headed out of the room.

"Yes!" Sakura and Karin followed behind Tsunade.

("Good Luck you guys,") Shizune prayed.

Hidden Leaf Village, Training Field…

Kakashi stood by the stone monument as he stared at Obito's and Rin's names.

("Rin, back then I am sorry I couldn't protect you…")

("Now that I have seen the future,")

("I swear to bring back Obito, just like Naruto brought back Sasuke,")

("I'll have him live a good life before he joins you,") Kakashi thought.

"This is where you were…" Kakashi heard a voice from behind him.

"Kakashi," Sasuke uttered his name following which Kakashi turned back.

"Sasuke," Kakashi stared at him.

"I want you to train me,"

"From where we left off in the previous training," Sasuke said.

"You mean the Chidori?" Kakashi asked.

"No,"

"I mean the next stage with the shape manipulation,"

"The Raikiri," Sasuke said.
