Chapter 734: Chapter 261 Harvest_3
“Compared to these, the Undead Book in Laine's hand was insignificant. Those two strong Divine Power-level divine rights were valuable, but they were merely better than nothing.”
Long ago, [Samsara] had already reached a limit.
The life and death that constituted it had reached the extreme under the Great Divine Power, leaving only a small critical point stuck there. But Laine also knew well that this point could not be reached by accumulation; it also needed an opportunity.
This opportunity was not about piling up a certain amount of life and death-related Source Power, but rather an event or node with enough symbolic significance. It had to relate to both life and death, not just one.
Fortunately, this problem wasn't as difficult as imagined, and would be resolved by the end of the Third Epoch.
Therefore, most of the power in this Undead Book was directly invested into the Elemental Plane of the Spirit Realm's fifth layer, with only the body remaining in Samsara's location.
In Laine's plan, Samsara would refine this Undead Book, then reorganize it in future sublimations into a Divine Artifact similar to the Book of Life and Death, recording the lifespan and death days of All Spirits–though there was an unavoidable hurdle in achieving this.
That hurdle was the weaving, arranging, and cutting of Fate by The Three Fates, Moirai.
But this was all for later discussion; it wasn't necessary to consider it for now. If Destiny were dismembered in the current world, they would inevitably face death. If Destiny were intact, then they would find it hard to die. So, this was merely an incidental arrangement, not involving any other matters.
The evolution of the Genesis Artifact also required some time, as it couldn't be completed immediately.
“Finally, there's the actual and direct gain from this journey to another world.”
“The Eight Primordial Spirits, the world's half-body.”
“Even just a fragment of [Absolute Void] was much stronger than the [Undead Book]. And the power of [Primordial Waters] was truly infinite.”

“Even just a part of it, I would probably have to fully digest it before I could assess its magnitude.”
With some sentiment, if one judged the strength and weakness of the Eight Primordial Spirits formed by the four barriers of Hemenu, then [Primordial Waters] was undoubtedly the first.
Even when the Sun was separated and the [Benben Stone] was molded, separating gods and mortals, it remained firmly at the core of the four barriers, the axis of Hemenu.
In the past, Tartarus was the upper limit of Laine's evaluation system, and facing [Primordial Waters], this system was clearly inadequate.
“When Erebus and I once crossed paths, we were roughly both at the Great Divine Power level of 25, and my so-called advantage was merely a facade of superiority; it was actually hard to determine a winner with a real fight.”
“But when the Inner Realm in the fifth layer of the Spirit Realm started to become complete, the symbol of Spirituality naturally rose to level 26.”
“When the Sun was completely digested in the future, the part of the [Undead Book] would also help the Inner Realm become more complete, and the symbol of Spirituality would probably advance further, maybe barely stepping into the domain of 27.”
“The same went for the perfection of the [Annals of Time] and the [Civilization Slate], though how much they would enhance was unknown–perhaps the [Codex of Creation] also needed to participate, to determine the new order integrating the remnants of Hemenu, or even… the new order of the world after the end of the Third Epoch.”
“At this point, the process of Great Divine Power was more than halfway through, and the endpoint was within sight.”
“But all this didn't include the [Primordial Waters] because I still didn't know how powerful the [Primordial Waters] was, or how much I could take back from it.”
At the other end of a distant time and space, when the Demon Sword was inserted into the [Primordial Waters], an unending force was already flowing back into the fifth layer of the Spirit Realm through an invisible connection.
In cycles, using the Water Elemental interface as a base, the powers of the Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire Elemental interfaces were continually expanding.
Of course, the reason why the newly formed cycle could so easily refine and absorb the power of [Primordial Waters] was largely because, although it was called 'water,' it was more of the cornerstone of the world's birth, the primordial broth.
The powers of Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire could draw from it, albeit in varying amounts. In this situation, as long as it was transformed, balance could naturally be swiftly achieved.
It could be said that from a certain point of view, the power of [Primordial Waters] was quite universal, difficult to see any limit.
Laine even suspected that if the Spirit Realm drew enough power from [Primordial Waters], then in the future, could the Principal Gods of the four major Elemental interfaces touch the great domain–at least within the Spirit Realm, touch this realm.
After all, his judgment of [Primordial Waters] was too superficial, and many things could only be speculated. Without that world-ending sword, even speculation would have been difficult.
“But this also proved that perhaps the Mother Tree was actually stronger than I thought, just too many shackles held It.”
“No wonder It could partially corrode a True God, even the Sun of Chaos was not spared.”
“But this is also good, as using the Creation Force in a sword this time showed me that even if relying on external force, one's own power must be strong enough to maximize its Might.”
“If I stood at the pinnacle of Great Divine Power to wield this sword, perhaps my own power would be negligible to the Creation Domain, but my control over it would be significantly stronger. Perhaps I could have eliminated a substantial part of Amon-Ra's existence on the spot, rather than merely participating a little in its existence.”
Laine exhaled lightly, closing his eyes briefly before opening them again.
The past had passed; overall, Hemenu was a massive treasure vault, indeed yielding him great rewards.
However, there was still a key to turning all these gains into reality.
That was the end of the Third Epoch in Chaos World.
“It's rather troublesome, at least before the divine incarnation returns; I cannot let Zeus directly unify the Mortal Realm.”
“The Demon Sword's true full strength was only in one strike, a mere God-King, unworthy of receiving it.”
Athens was at the horizon, Laine's eyes flickered.
In the resistance against Zeus unifying the Mortal Realm, Athens was inescapable. And from the outside, Athens was indeed mobilizing and preparing for war.
But one thing Laine had never quite understood, starting from the Golden Apple feast, was what exactly Athena intended to do.
Was it a struggle for interests, a clash of determination, or something else? If one didn't consider her as the 'Goddess of Wisdom,' her current state was quite normal. But Laine thought Athena's responses and reactions were too 'normal.'
Normal, to the point that she didn't quite seem like a goddess who had read the script, but rather like her original mythological trajectory.
Hmm… but speaking of, curiosity was just curiosity. The reason Laine returned to Athens now wasn't that he discovered anything–this was purely a spiritual intuition.
Because intuition told him that the fragment of prophecy he had foreseen before was about to play out here.
