Abhi kissed her gently on her lips and she didn't show any repulsion to his kiss. After giving her a light peck on her lips, he asked her to come downstairs for dinner and said that he will also join her and Preeti soon.

When she asked him about Rahul, Abhi said that "Rahul will not be home for a few good days" but he didnot tell her the reason for Rahul's absence.

At the dining table Preeti asked Abhi about Rahul. He told her "His friend has come so he will stay with his friend for a few days." Shriya heard it and she thought about it.

Abhi looked at her confused expression and whispered to her so that Preeti couldnot hear him "His girl friend has come from US".

She looked at him wide eyed, She though to herself 'so Rahul has a girlfriend already and she came here for him. She wanted to know where they were staying and she also is curious to see who Rahul's girl is. Abhi saw her and answered her silent question "They are staying at our apartment and I guess you will get to see her very soon". She nodded at him but wondered how he could know what she was thinking.

After dinner they went to their own rooms and Shriya took the milk glass to Abhi's room. Though there were many people in the house, Shriya preferred to give milk to everyone personally and see that they complete the glass, because Rahul and Preeti always leaves the glass as is. She brought the milk to Abhi's room and put it on the small wooden table in front of the couch and when she was about to leave the room, she turned back and Abhi who is sitting on the chair in his study and reading a script "When will Rahul Bhaiya come home ? ".

He looked at her mischievously and asked her "Are you curious about what they were doing there alone?"

She gulped hearing him ask this question, she wondered how he always managed to tell what she was thinking.

She held her head down as if she was caught red headed while she was stealing something.

He smiled at her scared kitten face he teased her saying "They were doing which we haven't done yet. Afterall my brother's girlfriend is not as slow as my scared kitten", he winked at her.

She looked at him but left the room as soon as he winked at her.

The next morning Shriya went to college and during the lunch time they sat at their usual table with Naveen and Brahmini at a table adjacent to their's. Sony was blabbering continuously about the preparations for the fest and Shriya listened to her friend quietly while eating.

Just then Dhruv came to her table and stood beside it silently. Shriya looked up to see the person in front of her and saw Dhruv standing there looking at her. Sony didn't know Dhruv, so she thought that he is someone who is there to trouble Shriya again, as it was what happened in the past when Vishnu troubled her.

She looked at him who is smiling at Shriya and said "What's so funny here, Who the hell are you and what are you laughing about?" she sneered at him.

Before Dhruv could answer her question Shriya said in a calm tone "He is the student president of our University."

Sony still looked at him with the same annoyed look on her face and the words 'so what' were written all over her face and she mumbled to herself with the same annoyed tone "as if he is the president of India" she had her eyebrows together.

Dhruv ignored her and said to Shriya in a calm voice "I want to talk to you".

Naveen who was concentrating on his girl's chatter turned his head as soon as he heard Sony talk to Dhruv.

He knew Dhruv, he saw him saving his young madam from a weirdo so he decided to stay quiet for the time being and wanted to listen to him, afterall he didnot seem to be dangerous. He just turned to their side and looked at them.

Shriya stood up and followed Dhruv out of the cafeteria. When Naveen was about to get up and follow them, Shriya signalled him to sit and wait for her. He obeyed her order of waiting for her, yet he followed her a few steps so that he didn't go out of her reach but at the same time he wanted to give some space for them to talk and stood silent only a few meters away from them. He didn't want his young madam to get hurt. If something were to happen to her like last time, he know what will happen to Abhi and what the latter will do to him.

Dhruv stopped at the corner and turned back to see her. He stood there and said with a calm expression "This year we are having a fest. You might have heard of it."

Shriya nodded her head slightly as saying yes to his question and then looked at him for him to speak further.
