Mrs. Kaur looked at her daughter and asked accusingly "You already prepared everything in advance. Then why bother getting our permission ?"

Before Sony could say something Kunal answered for her "That, everyone went there yesterday anyhow so they applied for passport themselves. Afteall it's very important to have a passport now-days. But we didn't get any tickets."

Mr. Pratap asked "You said other friends. How many are there?" and Kunal replied "Around 14 to 16 people. Shriya, Preeti and their friends. Abhi and Malhotra family, Barun, a few of our friends, me and security personal".

Pratap was about to say something when his wife looked at him to hold himself and she continued with the questions "When there are girls then why did you come to get permission. We would have said yes if you sent her friends here".

Kunal looked at her meaningfully and answered "Well I want to take this opportunity to meet you officially as Sony's boyfriend. Moreover I will also be there with her for a week."

Seeing them not saying anything he continued explaining "It's a trip of one week. We will leave here from 12 th night and reach their on 13 th morning. We are staying there for five days and we will return on 19 th night. So I want you to know that I will be there with her."

Both Mr and Mrs Kaur looked at each other and then at their daughter who is hiding glances from her parents.

Kunal continued "Even though everyone are busy with the work, I promise I will take good care of her and will bring her safe and sound to you. It's my responsibility and promise".

Mrs. Kaur was satisfied with his words and he continued while looking straight at Pratap "Moreover I want the reason to stay in my limits with her and I came here to get that inspiration". It's more like he is promising to himself than to her parents.

Sony gave a death stare to her man who was looking at her. Pratap said with an irked tone "I don't believe you, Forward your brother's number to me. He looks more trustworthy than you. I will ask him to keep an eye on you".

No matter how hard Pratap tried to forget Kunal kissing Sony right in front of his house, he couldn't forget it. The more he thought about that the more irritated he was.

A smile appeared on Kunal's face and thought "That kid Rahul dares to stop me. In his dreams." But he remained silent and Sony looked at him and her father with confusion.

Mrs. Kaur asked Kunal "It's just an engagement. Why are you going for a week ?" He looked at her with an ugly expression and she asked "I mean you people must be busy with your work. A week of absence from work must be tough for you guys".

Kunal said "Ah, actually Rahul, Abhi's younger brother is getting married the very next day in the same hotel. So engagement, marriage, and a small dinner and others. So one week".

They nodded and he said "That's the reason. So are you willing to send her with us."

Mrs. Kaur looked at her daughter who is looking at her expectantly and then said "Well She can go but I don't accept your relationship atleast not yet. I hope you keep your promise."

Sony was silent and Pratap said to Kunal with a poker face "Can I talk to you for a minute?" and Kunal nodded his head and stood up to follow behind Pratap.

Kunal felt like he entered some quiz show. They are asking him so many questions that he felt dizzy. He never answered so many questions in his entire life.

Both men went upstairs leaving both mother and daughter to themselves. Sony smiled at her mother awkwardly and the latter said in a firm and commanding tone "We need to talk about this" to which the latter nodded obediently.

Pratap asked Kunal after entering the room "Is that really happening. Is Shriya really getting married, I mean engaged. Did Malhotra's accept their relationship?".

Kunal nodded "Abhi's mother is against it but other's are almost okay with it. But don't worry, either they accept or not Abhi is firm on his decision and he will take good care of her."

Sony went up and knocked on the door to the room. When she opened the door she saw bothe men standing in the balcony and she rushed to Kunal and dragged him inside and yelled "People on the road can see you. What if they recognize you and a scandal broke out?".

Pratap coughed and Sony felt akward for forgetting that her father was there too and felt utterly embarrassed for her rash behavior earlier. She moved away from her man immediately and looked at her father.

In order to change the topic she asked her father "How did you know Rahul ? You also know Shriya. Didn't you?"

Pratap nodded his head and said to Sony "Even you know her..... earlier." First he wanted to hide this from his daughter but they already became friends and he felt that he should tell everything to her.

She looked at him with confusion and there was not much change in Kunal's face. Bur he looked worried about something. Seeing her confused expression Pratap said "She is Varun's sister".

When she heard Varun she remembered a person but she said with confusion " Varun bhaiya ?".

Then everything fell into place. She know Shriya belonged to H city and her brother died in a fire accident but she never thought it was the same accident where she lost her dear brother and almost her life too.

She knew both their brothers are friends and they lost their lives together. Now Shriya and her met after five years and they became best friends. She couldn't believe this.

She stumbled back on her steps and Kunal held her by her shoulders worried that she might fall. It's a trauma and whenever she remembers or thinks of her brother she falls sick.

Pratap looked at his dear daughter who was still not over her pain and felt sad. But one thing that caught his eye is Kunal's worried expression when he held Sony in his arms.
