Shriya was a bit embarrassed for what Preeti told about Rahul. Rahul already made a poker face and was mumbling to himself. Gouthami smiled and said "Thank you so much Preeti. I really loved the gift."

Abhi sat on his chair and made the little girl sit on a chair beside him. Rahul sat next to Preeti and the servants started serving the dinner in their plates.

Shriya was a bit relieved when she heard Gouthami's reply. She then took out a small box from her pockets and placed it in front of Gouthami.

Gouthami looked at Shriya questioningly and the latter said "This is for you, a small gift".

Rahul was excited and asked "You also brought one. Why didn't I get anything till now ?"

Preeti said "It's because you are not pregnant". Rahul looked at her but the latter was silent and was chatting casually with Abhi like she didn't say anything at all.

Rahul ignored her and said to Shriya "Let me see what is it ?".

Abhi ignored them and he was feeding Preeti who is very busy eating. Gouthami opened the gift and saw a small glass bottle.

She asked with curiosity "What is it ?" and Shriya replied "It's Kashmiri kesari, saffron. We South Indians call it Kumkum puvvu and pregnant ladies generally eat it during their pregnancy period".

Rahul explained "If you take that with milk, babies will be so beautiful, I mean all white and chubby".

Preeti said with her mouth full of food "Which means the baby will not take after you". Abhi laughed and Rahul made a poker face again and replied "Who will take you to your school tomorrow and don't forget that you have a parent teacher meeting this month and you have no other option than me."

They started again. They always fight like tom and Jerry and never stops bickering at each other.

Gouthami said "Stop threatening the child" and Preeti stuck her tongue out at Rahul and said "No worries, if not you, my charming prince will come," and then she looked at Abhi and asked with puppy cute eyes "You will come, won't you ?".

Shriya and Gouthami didn't get involved in that fight. They concentrated on their food while Rahul and Preeti went on and on without the thought of stopping.

Shriya ordered the kitchen to make foods that are nutritious and are good for pregnant ladies.

Rahul said sarcastically "That's impossible. It's never going to happen. If he does so, he will be in the headlines the very next day."

The fight was over only when Shriya warned Preeti to keep quiet and she also said to Rahul in a firm tone "Grow up".

He nodded his head like an obedient child and said "Okay sisla" and seeing him so obedient to Gouthami shook her head helplessly.

Gouthami went to her room to get some rest while Abhi and Rahul went to the study to do their work. Shriya and Preeti went up to the little girl's room and Shriya helped her little sister with her home work. She also went through her assignments, exam results and other necessary things.

She was about to sleep there when Preeti said to her sister "You go sleep in your room, prince must be waiting for you".

Shriya looked at her sister surprisingly and Preeti said "He asked me to send you to his room".

Shriya shook her head and sighed deeply. She thought "This pervert". She thought 'How can he say this to this kid'. The little girl smiled knowingly and understandingly.

Shriya wanted to go to her room but she went to Rahul's room and knocked on the door. When she went in, she saw Gouthami playing with her phone. She went inside and sat on the couch.

Gouthami looked at Shriya and asked indifferently "what ?"

Shriya shook her head and said with the same indifferent attitude like that of Gouthami "Feel free to tell me if you need anything. If not me you can say to Ram Uncle."

She never liked Gouthami's hostile behavior but she has to act mature. Gouthami is new to this and she was away from her parents and friends. It's understandable for her to act like that. Moreover she will even have some mood swings during this time.

Gouthami said "Okay" and resumed back to her phone. Shriya stood up and was about to go out when she heard Gouthami calling her "Shriya ".

She turned back and saw. Gouthami said "Uncle asked me to tell you that he wants to talk to you and asked you to call him when you are free. Grandpa misses you and is sending his blessings to you".

Shriya nodded and went out saying "Good night". Rahul came in after a while and saw Gouthami trying to call her mother.

She looked stressed and not so in a good mood. He went to her and hugged her. He asked her "Don't your mother speak to you now?".

Gouthami shook her head. She isn't crying or complaining to him but explaining the situation to him in a calm manner "She was already against us being together. She always wanted Abhi tobe her son-in-law. Now me being pregnant with your child and that to even before marriage, she can't accept it. She don't speak to me anymore".

Rahul said "It's my mistake. I will definently make up for what you have gone through. I will love and care for you with all my heart. Stay here happily and concentrate only on your health and baby's health."

"If you feel bored spend some time with Sisla and Preeti. Manvi is also pregnant and you can talk with her too."

Gouthami looked at him and said "No thanks, I am good on my own".

Rahul said "You can't be. You will feel bored. Just because you might feel uncomfortable or bored here in your own, Sisla persuaded bhai for staying here."

Gouthami said in an irritated tone "enough with your Sisla stuff. If you want to obey her, you can but don't force me".
