Behind him was a girl in a red coloured knee length dress and a pair of white sneakers. They were playing in a basket ball court and both of them were laughing like there was no tomorrow and it was a very lively picture.

Pratap took the photo into his hands and was shocked. And he replied in a very serious tone "Yes he is the one. But how did you get his picture ?".

Barun didn't reply and instead asked "Then do you know the girl in the picture ?".

Pratap shook his head vigorously and said "No, I don't know her but I think she is his sister".

Abhi asked "Do you know his sister's name ? or anything about her ?".

Pratap thought for a moment and said "I never saw her in person but I heard a lot about her from Varun".

Abhi asked curiously "What did you hear about her ?".

Pratap said after thinking for a while "Varun dotes on his sister very much. He also has another little sister and she is a lot younger than him . But he really has a great bonding with his sisters and he said his sister was great fighter and a very kind girl. I heard so many good things about her".

Kunal asked "What kind of a person was Varun to you ?"

Pratap said admiration in his eyes "He was one determined guy and he achieved so much in such a small age. He had some really good genes in him which he might have earned from his great grand fathers. He was one person who was both talented and also an intellectual person. He was like a son to me".

Everyone were curious when they heard him. Barun asked "What do you mean by this. Tell us more about him ?".

Pratap asked with suspicion written all over his face "Why do you want to know about him now and why do you have his picture with you. What are you guys upto ?".

One could see that Pratap is literally worried about Varun and his family. Abhi was pleased with his behavior and replied in a gentle tone "Shriya, Varun's sister is my girlfriend and also your daughter's best friend now".

Pratap was shocked to his wits and he asked in bewilderment "What ? The girl is Varun's sister. Then where is she staying now and how do you know about her ?".

He also asked in a hurry and after a moment of thought he asked with concern painted all over his face "How is she now and how can she be studying in the college. Then the girl I saw last night at the party event was her, wasn't she ?".

He asked so many questions at a time that they didn't undestand which one to answer first.

Abhi said with a smile "Well she is fine now and so is her little sister. They are staying with me at my place."

Pratap was relieved when he heard this and he asked "Aren't they staying at their relative's place ?".

Abhi didn't hide it the truth from Pratap but he also didn't want him to misunderstand the situation so he explained patiently "She came out of that place only after an year and she has been staying alone for a while. But last year I found her and her sister in an accident and since then they have been staying under my protection."

Pratap enquired with a serious look over his face "what do you mean by this and what is your relationship with her ?".

Though he is not Shriya's father he asked in a very domineering way. Abhi explained in an indifferent manner "Well, I liked her for a long time now and found them accidentally. She has some issues and as you know it's not so safe for a young woman to stay alone in this society. So ever since they have been staying with my family".

Pratap raised his eyebrows in question and asked "Family ?".

Abhi nodded and explained "They are staying at my family mansion with my family. She joined college to restart her studies and that's how she met Sony".
