Shriya woke up early the next morning and saw Abhi still sleeping soundly on bed. He went into the kitchen to make a coffee for her man before waking him up. But when she was busy in the kitchen she felt his presence behind her. He hugged her from behind and his chin was resting on her shoulders.
She smiled when she inhaled his familiar sweet scent. He was still sleepy and she could feel his weight on her. Though Shriya has a perfect height and a healthy body it was still a bit for her to manage his hefty body weight.
She asked him all sleepy "Don't you need to go for a run ?"
Abhi shook his head and his voice sounded a little hoarse, as he slept for more time. He said "I will directly go to gym today after some time."
She made coffee for him and he took it in his right hand and leaned back against the kitchen cabinet. He sipped on it enjoying it's aroma and flavour and said with a smile "Your coffee is the best in he world".
Shriya raised her eyebrow hearing his flattering words and asked with doubt "What do you want now?".
He rubbed his nose tip with his other free hand and said hesitantly "I need to go to office" and she glared at him and he soon explained "actually I have to meet Kunal for something and he is at the office."
She didn't say anything and turned back and resumed back to work. It was obvious that she was mad at him and he said while hugging her again "I will be back soon".
She just hummed and nodded. She knew if it wasn't anything important, he wouldn't go leaving her back.
She went to the refrigerator and then passed him his energy drink. She then said sternly "Be here by 1pm sharp".
He then said "Yes boss" and walked into his room. She couldn't help but laugh seeing her man acting all cute.
After about a half and and hour time, Abhi came out in his black tracks with a black cap over his head. He then went to her, placed a quick kiss on her forehead. "Eat something, don't stay on empty stomach", she nodded and said "I am going for some grocery shopping, you need anything ?".
He said "Get some refreshment drinks and take Naveen along with you". She nodded.
Abhi then left for gym. Shriya didn't want to eat alone, she got habituated to eating with Abhi, so she had a few bites of bread with some peanut butter. She then changed into some normal clothes, a knee length white cotton dress and a pair of white sneakers.
She knocked on Naveen's door and he was still in his pajamas. He opened the door and when he saw his boss standing al ready to go out, he asked her to come inside. He then quickly changed into a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt.
They both went out to the store and Shriya saw all Christmas trees and Santa decorations in the store. It was then Shriya realized that it was Christmas day, 25 th December. She was all dazed yesterday and her brain was all messed worrying about Abhi that she forgot completely about it. She then realised that was why Naveen was still in his sleepwear and surprised to see her all ready in the morning when she knocked on his door.
It was a national holiday then why did Abhi said last night that his princess shouldn't miss classes. That man is still trying to prank her and making up all stupid excuses. She muttered angrily "That dammed man".
Shriya then went into the store and bought the groceries and things that are needed to prepare Rahul's and Preeti's favourite dishes.
Naveen followed behind her with some distance. He was also doing some shopping for himself. Shriya pushed the trolley from one rack to another in the food section. She then remembered that there was no vinegar and chilli sauce at home.
She went to the rack where these items were there and picked the vinegar bottle from the rack into and trolley when someone put his hand on her shoulder.
She was startled and turned around and looked at the man who was standing before her. It's been so long, more than three years since she saw this man. No matter how long it was she can't forget this man. Afterall he is one special person who helped her in her bad times.
He looked at her and he was pleasantly surprised. He smiled at her and asked "Hey miss bookworm what are you doing here ?".
She smiled back at him and asked in a pleasant tone. One could say seeing her that she was happy to see him there. "How are you and why are you here bro ?".
He replied "I came back only a month ago and here I am shopping".
He then looked at her clothes and the trolley before her and asked "What are you doing here ?".
Just then Naveen arrived there with a basket full of soaps and shampoo bottles in his hands. He looked at Shriya and she was smiling and was comfortable with the man infront of her, so he asked in a casual tone "Hey Shriya, done?"
Naveen always addresses Shriya respectfully calling her young madam or miss, but when they are surrounded by other students or strangers he will address her as Miss Sheren. This was the first time he addressed her casually by her full name.
Shriya was relieved when she heard him call her by her name. She said "I just need chilli sauce". The man infront of her looked at Naveen and then back at Shriya. Shriya showed the man infront of her to Naveen and introduced him "This is my cousin Vamshi Krishna".
Naveen stretched his hand to shake the latter's hands and introduced himself "Hello I am Naveen, Shriya's college friend".

They both nodded at each other and shaked hands. Naveen said to Shriya "I will go get some sauce for you, then we can go home.You guys continue".
Shriya nodded her head and Vamshi asked her after Naveen left "So you joined collge again ? when ?"
Before she could answer him he asked "Where were you all these days, where are you staying now and how is Preeti and why did you leave from our house ?".
He showered her so many questions that she felt suffocated. She didn't understand where to start and how to start.
