Then he heard a sound from the living room and saw her speaking on the phone. He walked upto her when he heard that she was speaking to her sister.
He felt a lot better than earlier. His face also regained its normal colour and texture.
Shriya was shocked to see him behind her suddenly and she was frightened. When she realised that he was trying to prank her even when he was not well, she felt angry and punched him lightly on his firm chest. He sat on the side which is opposite to her.
Abhi always sat beside her and he even made her sit on him sometimes. But now he was sitting far from her. He leaned back on to the sofa and closed his eyes. He pressed the temples of his forehead and asked "What is that brat saying now ?"
Shriya smiled hearing the word brat from Abhi. He always referred her little sister as princess. This is the first time she heard him call the little girl like that.
Shriya said "Your princess was angry with you as you didn't inform her before leaving the party today.
She wanted to come see you tomorrow, so I asked Rahul to bring her here tomorrow morning"
Abhi shook his hands and said "Tell them to come tomorrow evening".
Shriya looked at him with a serious expression. She signed him with her eyebrows and he said "I just don't want my princess to miss her classes because of me".
Shriya raised her eyes and made a pout. Then as if she remembered something suddenly she sighed. She looked at him and after hesitating for a while she said in a low voice "I want to say something to you".
Abhi looked at her bright glittering eyes and his eyes turned gentle and he asked her "What is it ?"
Shriya didn't want to say unimportant things to Abhi as he is already not well. But she couldn't help but tell him in the last. Afterall Rahul is Abhi's one and only brother.
So after hesitating for a while, She said in a low voice that it sounded more like a whisper than a normal voice "I think something is wrong with Rahul. He was acting all depressed and moodily lately"
Abhi looked at her and asked "You observed the change in him ?".
Abhi was a bit surprised when he heard that.
Shriya nodded her head and said "Though he is trying very hard not to show his pain or his difficulty one could say that something is bothering him.
He is a bit depressed and moody and it seems like he was thinking about something often. His smiling face was fake and he was doing it for our happiness. so I wanted you to talk to him about this. Afterall he is your brother".
Abhi was pleasantly surprised and said "Even I wanted to talk to him about this."
Shriya understood that Abhi knew the reason behind Rahul's attitude. Nothing can escape from his eyes. If he really know then he will solve it. She knew she shouldn't ask him more about it.
Once everything is solved he will tell her himself. She knew Abhi is the kind of person who will take everything up on himself. Though he remains cold and indifferent towards others he actually cares about everyone. It's just he doesn't like to show it. So she remained silent. She asked him to sleep and told him that she will inform Rahul.
She messaged Rahul and he replied with a single word "Okay". Abhi saw her thinking about something sohe said in order to change her mood. He placed his index finger on his chin as if he was thinking something deeply and said "Moreover it will be the first time my princess visiting our place, so I want to plan a surprise for her".
Hearing this Shriya glared at Abhi with anger and said furiously "Shut up, See what position you are in now and you are bullshitting about making a surprise."
Abhi fell silent. Shriya barely yells but when she does Abhi will keep quiet not uttering a word. He said in a innocent way " It's okay if you didn't want. You are the owner of our house. If they don't feel comfortable you will be the one to blame. So I am just trying to help you". He said as if he was wronged.
Shriya looked at him and she almost believed him. She thought and said with a bright smile "You are really the best actor. No wonder you are winning the best actor award from the last three years"
Abhi smiled hearing her sarcastic compliment . Though it sounded like a compliment it was not. She then sighed and said "Okay, tomorrow morning you will stay at home like a good boy and I will go get some things from the supermarket and I will cook for both Rahul and Preeti".
Abhi nodded his head and Shriya said "Now go get some sleep". Abhi stood up and went to the bedroom and laid on the bed obediently. No one would have thought a person like Abhi can be tamed.
Shriya knew her man more than anyone. He is also like Kunal cold and indifferent but his gentle side is only for her.
When Shriya entered inside Abhi was sleeping tighty. She turned on the AC and lowered the temperature. She covered him a quilt and pecked him lightly on his forehead. She was wearing white cotton pajamas which covered her entire body so that Abhi couldn't feel any discomfort. She then laid on the couch.
While this couple was happy and having a sweet time even in that situation there was one person who was frightened and sad with this situation.
