Elder Malhotra put the picture he removed from his pocket so that all three of them could see it. He asked his grandson pointing towards the picture which is on the table infront of them "Is she the one you are dating right now?"

Abhi looked at the picture and nodded his head in agreement and said "I love her" and seeing his son's response Mr. Malhotra grabbed the picture from the table and looked at the picture and stared at the person in it.

He asked staring at the picture in his hands "What's her name ?"

"Shriya Sheren", Elder Malhotra was the one who responded and Abhi sat silent as if he was not worried about his grandfather knowing it.

"She looks young. How old is she ?" Mr. Malhotra was even more curious now. He observed the delicate facial features of Shriya in the picture and guessed she might have still been in her teens.

The picture was the one that is taken without her knowledge as she didnot show any particular expressions in it. She was just smiling and it seemed like she was listening to someone when the picture was taken.

She wore a deep blue coloured top and her hair was let loose and she looked younger for her age. She had no make up on and she was beautiful and looked pure.

Mr. Malhotra liked the picture but he didn't open up to the other two men in the room.

This time it was Abhi who answered his father's question "Twenty years old"

Mr. Malhotra has so many questions for his son but he wanted to take it slow as he know if he acted rashly his son would ignore him and do whatever he wants. It's already a good thing that he decided to discuss with him and his father about his relationship. More over he liked the girl and he could see the gentleness in his son's eyes whenever he spoke about her.

He asked his son "What about her family background and status?"

There was a slight change in Elder Malhotra's eyes and his son saw the worry in his face.

But Abhi maintained his calm attitude and the said "Her family died in a fire accident and now she only has a younger sister". He then leaned back into the sofa and said " Back then she stopped her studies in order to take care of her little sister but now she is back to college".

Elder Malhotra asked the important question "Why is she staying at the Mansion ? "

Mr. Malhotra was taken aback by this sudden news. It is okay for his son to like someone but how can he bring that girl to the Mansion before marriage and how could they live under one roof. And what about the media, Isn't he worried about the paparazzi. He was already so surprised when he heard that Abhi went to Shanthibahavan to stay. He know his son more than anyone. Abhi was the kind who wants to stay low key and he never liked staying at the Shanthi bhavan. He stayed in a rental apartment with Kunal when he debuted in the industry and later he bought an apartment and lived there.

So he couldn't stop himself from asking his son for confirmation "She is staying at Shanti bhavan. Does that mean you two are in a living together relationship?".

Elder Malhotra was a bit cool when his son asked son that question and it seemed as if he don't mind it at all. He is a bit open minded compared to his son in the aspect of relationship.

And he already investigated and he know Shriya doesn't have any place to live. He know that she stayed alone for five years and took care her sister on her own.

He really appreciated that but what he didn't understand is how his grandson met her and why she moved in with him.

Abhi decided to speak the truth, it's already clear that his grandpa know most of the story and he is just asking for confirmation. It will be a problem if he lied about anything.

He is confident that his grandpa accepts it no matter what, he understood his grandpa already liked Shruta that was the reason he was asking for details and giving him a chance to say his point.

Abhi explained in a calm tone and both his grandpa and father were listening to him with full attention "A fire broke in her house when she was fifteen and in that accident both her parents and her elder brother died."

He then looked at the two other men in the room and seeing them not saying anything, he continued "Then she ans her sister were taken in by her relatives but because of the ill treaemt towards her sister and her, she moved out from there and stared living on her own."

"Preeti was only 6 years old then and she has to take care that little kid so she gave up her studies and started working to earn her living"

"It was three years ago, I saw her in a restaurant where I was shooting and from then I started following her and about four months ago I met her".

Both the men who were listening to Abhi nodded their heads and Abhi continued "And then I met her and she moved in with me because I promised her that I will take care of her as a friend, that was when she accepted to move in. Just now she started having feelings for me but she has a hard time adjusting to this life and she was afraid to accept her feelings for me."

"As for living together, we stay under one roof but she needs time for that".

Elder Malhotra asked "So you all stay at the Mansion, and the little girl was her sister who Rahul takes care of".

Abhi nodded his head and Mr. Malhotra said with a cold tone "So he knew everything and is supporting you"

Elder smiled and said "Both your sons have a great unders and they share a great bond".

Just then he received a call from Rahul and when he saw the caller id he put the phone on speaker.
