The next morning all the newspapers headlines were filled with the news about the IT raids on the local politician and former minister. The whole Mumbai city is in chaos and the raids were not only on him but also all his relatives, friends and business partners.

Shriya woke up late that morning and she suddenly felt a weight on her stomach. She turned her head to see Abhi lying beside her with his left hand on her tummy. She looked around to see and realised that it was not her room and all the incidents from the previous night flashed in front of her at once.

The previous day Abhi was so angry with her that he didnot talk to her all day in the college and he left an hour earlier than her not waiting for her. When she reached home he already had his dinner and went to his room.

She was so sad that she couldnot take his silent treatment anymore, she was so used to his caring side that she felt all restless with the sudden change in his attitude towards her.

He was already in his study going through some documents when she went to bring him milk as usual. He didnot spare her a look and behaved as if he couldnot see her there.

She didnot know what to do and when she tried to call him he just stood up to leave. She ran up to him and hugged him from behind. He just froze and stopped in his tracks. He stood still when he felt her hands on him and when he tried to hold her hands, she tightened her grip on him as if she was afraid that he will leave her if she released him from her grip.

He felt her tears on his back and his heart ached seeing his women like that. He stood still and loosed her grip on him. She stood still and he stood facing her and his eyes were all gentle and loving. He took her face in his hands and wiped her tears with his thumb finger. Her eyes were twinkling with all the tears in them and they were so beautiful that Abhi couldnot take his eyes off her eyes.

She looked at him and he pecked her on her forehead. He was so heartbroken to see his girl with all tears. He kissed on her lips and she kissed him back. It was a gentle peck and he took her to the bed and made her sit on it. He sat across from her.

He knew what she was thinking. She was confused not knowing 'Why he was angry with her ?'. She knew it was not because she got exposed or he was embarrased of that situation or her. He was angry with her for some other reason and she couldnot make out what it was.

As if he saw right through her thoughts, he said in the sad tone "I am not angry with you. I am angry with myself for not gaining your trust. I felt helpless and did nothing for you when you were being criticized by all of them."

She looked at him with a complex expression in her eyes and he continued looking at the floor "And when you asked me not to involve myself, I was so angry, that I felt restless."

His voice became more depressed now and he said "I don't mind even if I am not famous anymore. I am fine as long as I have you. But you asked me to stay out of it. You are my woman, I have to protect you which I haven't done for you ".

Shriya just looked at her man and she kissed him with so much passion that Abhi was dumbstruck. He didnot expect her to kiss him out of the blue, it was always him who initiated the kiss but just then she herself made the initiation.

It took him some time to come back to his senses and he kissed her back and after a while they just pulled away to catch their breaths. He smiled at her mischievously and she held her head low and her cheeks were all red. He made her look at him and she smiled at him and it made his day.

They sat like that for a while and Shriya said "I didn't want you to involve because it was such a small matter, and you don't have to solve those trival matters yourself."

He looked at her and said with a firm voice "When it involves you, nothing is a trival matter and I have the right to protect you and its my responsibility."

Shriya nodded her head in agreement and they talked about all the incidents that happened that day. Shriya smiled at him and said in an enthusiastic manner "When we were leaving, we saw Aksha and then Sony said so many mean things to her."

Abhi listened to all his girl's blabbering with patience and the latter continued with the same enthusiasm "Sony cursed Aksha saying 'You picked a wrong girl, you don't know who her man is'" when she was saying this there was a spark in Shriya's eyes which Abhi didn't fail to notice. "She again said that Aksha's family will go bankrupt soon and she will face a bad fortune from now on". Shriya was like a little girl telling her mom all about her day in school.

Abhi felt his heart warm up seeing his women all happy and the spark he noticed when she mentioned him. He was happy that she accepted him, earlier that day he was upset because she didnot want him to involve but now it was completely different.

He smiled at her and said "Your friend sure has a good sight for future".

Shriya didnot get his words and Sony didnot that her words were going to be true soon and it will actually bring her trouble.
