Yuerui's cheeks turned red in embarrassment.

It was as red as a tomato.

Xianwang was amazed to see her shy face.

He doesn't know why but whenever he sees her red as tomato face he finds it cute.

"No... Absolutely not! Why would I think such a stupid thing?" She looked elsewhere while brushing her hands off to remove the cookie crumbs.

"I could do such stupid thing for you." Xianwang replied while straight looking at her.

Yuerui turned towards Xianwang with her eyes wide open.

"But sadly you didn't accept my offer." Xianwang added. He didn't flinch at all.

His deep gaze was fixed on her.

'Dude, what happened to you? Why are you behaving like this today?Did you eat something funny? You are making me feel guilty even though I didn't do anything.' Yuerui thought. Her eyes got soften.

"Yeah I know, think about that blue eyed lady. She will divert your mind.' she thought.

'Mai Yuerui, Neo michyeoss-oo [1] this girl is also you, you baboya [2]. ' she was so nervous that didn't even know what she was thinking.

But she tried to composed herself and replied softly, " Boss, you told me about some other work " She tried to change the topic.

"Yes. I forgot. Wait a sec." Xianwang went to his white marbled table and took some file from his drawer. Then returned to Yuerui and again sat beside her.

"Here." He said.

"Then that's it, then i'll take my leave." Yuerui stood up  and bid him goodbye. She wanted to escape from this place as soon as possible.

When she was about to hold the doorknob to open the door she heard Xianwang's husky voice saying, "My offer is still open. Please give it a thought. I have only talked to you about this. No one else."

Yuerui stopped for a second then quickly left the place. Didn't give any reply.

As soon as Yuerui left Si ying entered the room 

"So, my dear friend, how did it go?" He asked with a smile.

"Have you ever seen anything go wrong for me?" Xianwang replied proudly.

"Yes, the scandle." Si ying murmured.

"What?" Xianwang asked.

"Nothing. You are the devil, I mean clever and sly, Kong Xianwang. How can things go wrong for you." Si ying quickly changed his reply. He doesn't wanna have cut in his salary.

Xianwang gave a smirk in reply and returned to his work. 

Si ying took a chair and sat next to Xianwang.

"Hey tell me in detail, how did it go today?" He asked in curiousity.

"That's a secret." Xianwang didn't say anything and concentrated on his work.

"But dude, how did you enter at the perfect time today? That was really epic. You have to tell me that at least."

"Why? Wanna try this for you girl?" Xianwang replied as he leaned on the chair and gave him a mischievous smile.

"Neh... My girl is a badass. She wouldn't get bullied." Si ying grimaced.

"Then forget it." Xianwang said without any

expression.

"You sly fox." Si ying cursed.

Xianwang didn't give any heed to him and continued his work.

"So you are not gonna tell me anything?" Si ying asked again.

"Yup."

"You devil!"

Si ying sighed and left the room.

When Yuerui left the main building it was already lunch time. So she decided to eat lunch at first. She ate her lunch at the cafeteria with her friends. Then she had to do some field work.

She was supposed to go with Kai but he was already busy with some other work. So she had to leave alone. She left the office as fast as she could. She doesn't wanna face those jealous women today.

8 pm...

Yuerui returned to her home sweet home with a tired and exhausted body. She had to do so much research today. 

"Man... Zongguan's work sure is very tough." She said to herself.

She threw her shoes at the door and went to take a shower.

She freshen up quickly and made some dinner for herself. Since she doesn't have money to spend on food lavishly, she only made some rice and egg rolls.

She took her food to her bed and turned on her laptop. She was in the middle of a kdrama. While she was waiting for the laptop to turn on she heard a knock on the door. She got curious and went to open the door.

She found that her landlord had come to her apartment.

"Mrs. Xu. What a pleasant surprise! Do you need anything?" She asked gently.

"Can I come in sweety?" She asked.

"Yes, of course. Please come in." Yuerui

welcomed her inside the house and made some coffee for her. Then sat next to her.

"You have become very busy and skinny since you joined in the Skyhigh company." She said.

"Well, yeah a little bit."

"Why dear? Eat well. Do not let work go heavy on you." She said in concern.

Yuerui only nodded in silent.

In her mind Yuerui was thinking, 'Why did she have to come now? I have a drama waiting for me. Please savw this normal talk for tomorrow. I will hear everything before I go for office, promise.'

"Dear, I know it's not in our contract. But I need a favor from you." The landlord said hasitating a little.

Yuerui's heart beat stopped for a second.

'What is she up to? Why am I getting a feeling that something bad is about to happen? Please God, please. Not any more. I really had to suffer a lot today. Not any more.' Yuerui

 was getting nervous she was about to cry in her mind.

The landlord continued," Well dear, I have a relative who is in  a lot of debt. They are in such a position that they can't even afford to buy food for them let alone the rent of their house. So I was .."

"So you are thinking of giving this apartment to them?" Yuerui completed her sentence.
