"Huh!" Xianwang stopped in his motion.

"You were acting?" He couldn't believe that this girl actually fell from the stairs deliberately.

"Yes, of course. Now put me down, please. No one is watching." She said.

Yuerui indeed did this intentionally. She just foolishly thought 'It's only three steps!' so she will be alright. But she never thought even if it has only three steps, a stair is always a stair and it can hurt badly.

"You can put me down." She said again.

"No, I will not." He held her even more  tightly and called for his car.

"What are you doing? Put me down." Yuerui tried to struggle.

"If you don't stay still I will throw you on the street. Tell me, will you like that?" He threatened her which made her shut up but it made her grumpy as well.

When he went out of the station his car was parked outside. Uncle Luo came out hurriedly and opened the door for them.

"Is Ms. Mai alright?" He asked worriedly.

"I don't know." Xianwang replied anxiously.

Uncle Luo closed the door for them and went to his driver's seat.

"Should we go to the hospital, young master?" He asked.

"No.. go to my apartment and and call my doctor."

Xianwang sudden change in plan made Yuerui panic.

"What? Your apartment? Why are we going there?" She panicked.

"Don't say anything." He replied coldly. He was already angry at her for doing such a stupid thing.

Yuerui tried to get out of the car but Xianwang held her hands tightly and threatened her again.

"If you don't behave, then I will have to behave improperly. Do you want that?"

Yuerui got scared and immediately calmed down.

They didn't went to Huo Ban residential but to Xianwang's personal apartment. This is where Xianwang planned to live after marriage.

The apartment was closed for a long time.

But after their discussion he made the apartment cleaned and become suitable for them. He still had some things to buy in order to decorate their house but who would have thought, he would need the apartment just in a couple of days.

After the car was parked in the garage, Yuerui tried to go out alone but Xianwang didn't let her. He again picked her up in his arms and went to the elevator. After entering the elevator, he pushed the button for 7th floor.

Yuerui saw that only the two of them went inside not uncle Luo.

"Umm... What about Uncle Luo?" She asked in low voice.

"He doesn't need to come." As he replied the door got closed.

"Tell me, honestly! What are you planning to do?" Yuerui threatened.

"If you didn't do that crazy thing that you just did, I wouldn't have carried you all the way here. Now let me do what is necessary."

Realizing that she was the one who made the mistake Yuerui became quiet.

"Tell me what exactly did you think that you had to hurt yourself like that? " Xianwang began to scold her like a mother.

Yuerui didn't say anything in reply. She just kept her head down and hearing the scolding like a obedient child.

All she wanted was to make the scene more dramatic.

Xianwang became so much worried when he saw her fell like that. He was never this much anxious before.

Seeing her silent and not responding, Xianwang didn't know what to say. 

He then couldn't take the silence anymore  and murmured slowly, "You... Um .. you don't have to try so hard because of that guy" Deep inside Xianwang knew that Yuerui agreed to his contract only because of Han Yefang which was not pleasing to him.

"Huh?" Yuerui couldn't understand if she heard correctly.

"I mean you don't have to try this hard. Not to the point of hurting yourself. Please."

"Hmm." Yuerui silently nodded.

As their conversation ended the elevator door opened and they went next to their apartment door.

"I was planning to show this to you after our marriage. But I guess things don't go according to our plan."

Yuerui looked at him confusedly.

"This is the house where we will live after marriage."

"Welcome, Mai Yuerui. Welcome to our home." Saying so he opened the door and entered while holding his bride to be in his arms.

The apartment was a duplex apartment. After crossing the corridor, there is the living room area at the right side and the dining on the other side along with the kitchen.

After walking pass the dining area there is a bed room. After passing the living room at the right end, there is a swimming pool area separated by a glass partition.

At left of the glass partition is the stairs.

Upstairs there are two bed room with large balconies with the greatest view of the city lights. And at the end of the corridor there is his study room.

Xianwang could have give Yuerui a trip of the house holding her in his arms but now was not the great time.

When the walked passed the corridor downstairs Yuerui looked around the the house at a glance. She wanted to take a stroll. So when she asked Xianwang politely, he let her down. But the moment she put pressure on her leg she hissed in pain.

Remember... A stair is always a stair and it can be deadly sometimes.

Xianwang immediately supported her and pulled her in his arms again.

"See, what you did?" He again scolded her. He was obviously worried. He carried her upstairs and went to the first room to the stairs. 

The room was decorated with simple furnitures but of course they had a modern touch in them.

Xianwang carried her to the bed and helped her to lay down.

"You stay here. I am coming right back." Saying he went downstairs.

He came back in ten minutes with his doctor.

But she didn't know that in this 10 minutes he had called the doctor to know how long will it take to come, for at least 10 times. He had never pestered anyone like this.

Only when the doctor said it was a minor ankle sprain did he relaxed.

The doctor bandaged her ankle and told her to  take rest for a couple of days.

"Does she need anything else?" Xianwang asked.

"No, some rest for couple of days will be enough." Saying so the doctor left.

Seeing off the doctor, Xianwang went back hurriedly to see if his now girlfriend is doing something crazy again.

After witnessing her today he has made one thing straight. And that is, never to leave her alone.

He had already stacked his fridge with food. So before he went back he took a glass of warm milk and went upstairs.

Xianwang put the glass of milk on the side table and sat beside her.

"I have made up my mind." He said with serious tone.

"What?"

"You are not allowed to do this type of stunt in future. In short you are not allowed to get hurt." 

"And how you are gonna prevent that?" She asked jokingly.

"I will add this in the contract. If you again hurt yourself again then you will have to pay penalty." He said.

"You don't have to go that extend. And didn't they doctor told you? It's just a minor injury." She tried to relax Xianwang.

"And you caused this injury." He was not finished with his scolding yet.

Yuerui couldn't but sigh.

"I don't believe you. I will call Si ying and add this clause in the contract."

"Since I can't stop you. Then don't just add my name. Instead add that neither party can get hurt."

"Okay. I am making a call. You drink that milk when I am asking you politely." He literally

threatened her to drink the milk and went to the balcony to call Si ying.

As he gave her the glass of milk to drink Yuerui didn't nag. Instead she drank the whole glass of milk like a obedient child. When it comes to obey anything Mai Yuerui is the most obedient girl.
