Meanwhile, Rio followed Nyla and Lia into Nyla's bedroom. They were all so exhausted that they didn't even bother to change their clothes, opting to simply collapse onto the bed.

She hugged him tightly, burying her face in his chest as she whispered softly, "Will you leave me again?"

Rio looked down at the cute squirrel nestled in his arms and playfully pinched her little nose.

"Don't worry, Wifey, I won't be leaving anytime soon. I need to stay close to my beautiful wife, after all. I'm going to be under strict orders to stay put until my lovely wife gives me the green light. Besides, I can't go off on any more adventures without my required dose of Vitamin Lia!" He said with a mischievous smile, teasing her playfully.

"I don't believe you," Lia said with a hint of doubt and fear in her tone.

Rio leaned in close to Lia and whispered in a flirtatious tone, "No, I swear, I don't want to leave. Do you know that I want to feast on these luscious lips and devour this tantalizing body of yours? If it weren't for Nyla sleeping here with us, I'd say tonight we might have had our consummate night."

As Lia's cheeks flushed with a mix of amusement and shyness, she found herself wanting the same thing as Rio.

"I promise you, Wifey, that I won't ever leave you Even if death tries to come between us, my stubborn soul will stay by your side, loving you for all eternity," Rio said with a sincere yet playful tone, looking deep into her eyes.

"Please don't speak of such things," She pleaded, Lia's voice trembled as she quickly placed her hand on Rio's lips, trying to stop him from saying anything else. Tears welled up in her eyes and her eyes glistened with unshed tears as she feared losing him.

"Wifey, don't cry. I didn't mean it like that." He said urgently, his voice filled with both sorrow and concern as he saw tears streaming from Lia's eyes.

He held her cheeks in his hands and wiped away her tears with his thumb, reassuring her that he didn't mean it like that.
