Chapter 199: Helia's Hidden Emotions

After twenty minutes, the laughter slowly faded as the effects of the laughing gas reduced, and their faces looked as if they were intoxicated by the alcoholic drugs.

When they calm down from laughing and giggling, the girls' gaze moved to Rio who was sitting between them.

Nyla used the trunk of the tree to get up and placed her head on his left shoulder.

Rio supported her using his left hand and patted her back lightly, the boy was aware of her intoxicated state.

The blue gas from the lake not only forced them to giggle and laugh but also made the girls high. It was going to take some time before they become normal as they came out of their constant laughter after a while.

"Sweetiiiii... Why everything is floating" Nyla said in a laggard voice and her tone was filled with amusement.

"It's not floating Nyla, You just need to rest. Close your eyes and try sleeping. Everything will get normal as you take some nap." He said in a calm voice, convincing her to sleep.

"No... I don't wanna sleep. I want my sweetie" The girl said in a lively manner as she wrapped her hands around his neck and snuggled into him.

Soon, the boy felt his other hand getting pulled towards the right side. His eyes noticed it was the blonde-haired beauty who was using his hand as support to get up as she succeeded.

"you A$hol3... I hate you" Helia cursed him, her head wobbling as the girl was looking at him with heavy eyes.

"Don't curse my sweetie..." Nyla's grumpy voice sounded as she was retaliating against hearing bad about Rio.

"but He is an idiot... What would I tell Lia, the empress of Asuras...The mighty race... if something happened to this foolish guy... How dare... he didn't tell us anything before jumping into the lake... I wanna beat him..."

Helia spoke with a staggering tone as she berated Rio for his previous action at the lake. She was mad at him because he didn't tell them anything about his plan to jump into the water.

"Sister... If you.... touch him then I kick lioness..." Nyla answered with puffed cheeks and glared at her, using her nickname to warn her.

"I can't beat... him. This idiot would hate me more if I repeat the same mistake..." Helia said, her voice flowing with heavy emotions.

"You two should rest... We can talk later... Try sleeping." Rio said in an affection-filled tone and tried to persuade them as they were both high.

"Shut up..." Helia said, as she blinked her eyes heavily in a sluggish manner, gazing towards him.

Rio didn't say anything as he watched the intoxicated Lioness who was letting her heart content out.

Nyla separated herself from Rio and made a gesture of zipping her lips with her index and thumb finger, giving a smiling look to Rio, "Yess... Shut up... "

*Sob!* *Sob!* *Sob!*

Tears started coming from Helia's eyes as the girl was weeping all of a sudden.

"Sister, why are your eyes water...inggg?" Nyla looked at the blonde-haired beauty in puzzlement and asked in a sad voice.

"He always does this to me... I tortured him, I stabbed him, I cursed him, I was punishing him for being a human and he was still nice to me. He carried me in that hellish desert. He didn't give up on me.

He makes me hate myself. Why can not he act like a normal person? why doesn't he tell Lia and make her dislike me for what I have done to him... Booohooo..." The girl started crying like a little baby as she complained.

"Ah..." Rio sighed looking at her as he was helpless, thinking about how would he stop her from crying.

Nyla said, "Don't cry, Lioness sister."

Helia's eyes kept tearing up as she said, "I wanted to marry the same man as Lia and she promised me she would let me but I am ashamed to accept you as a husband because I know you hate me... Waaaaaaa..."

The bawling of the blonde-haired beauty continued, and streaks of tears kept falling down her red eyes and made a wet trail on her rosy cheeks.

Rio was flabbergasted to hear her statements as she told him about Lia's childhood promise which was kept a secret until now from the boy.

His eyes were flickering with astonishment but he kept his calm and didn't show it on his face.

As Helia was crying, Nyla's body collapsed on the bed and she fell asleep.

The intoxicated blue gas had made her so high that it was hard for her to stay awake. She was tired from laughing and giggling so it didn't take her long to go into slumber.

Helia kept weeping and Rio was allowing her to cry as she was letting her hidden emotion come out which was good for her but her bawling increased as time passed.

In the end, He sighed heavily as the helpless Rio pulled her into his embrace and caressed her back to make her calm down.

The boy could feel his shirt getting wet as tears kept falling from her eyes and they were getting absorbed by his shirt and making it soaked.

He also felt her plumpy rounded chest that was getting crushed on his skin and a fragrance of jasmine enveloping his senses as he was hugging her.

Rio remembered the first time Helia hugged him thinking he was Leon, when he used [Ancient Disguise] spell to look similar to her, to let others think he was her younger brother.
