Chapter 198: Laughing Beauties

Helia nodded, her gaze moved to Rio who didn't come to ask for her, and showed any concern that made her feel sour.
Soon, she got to discover why the boy didn't come along with Nyla, the girl noticed something strange happening. The body of the Lord Alligator was expelling a bright blue gas, and before she could even react, the gas had enveloped both girls.
Nyla and Helia were caught off guard as the gas filled their lungs. A sensation of euphoria and tickling in their arms and legs started.
*Heh heh..."

"Hahaha...."
Rio who was standing dozens of meters away heard the resounding laughing and giggling of two girls.
The boy knew that the beast lived at the depth of the lake and was able to resist the lake's strange effect. He didn't warn Helia or stopped Nyla as he knew from the description it was only a laughing gas and won't harm them.

The Lord Alligator's body lay motionless on the ground, but its legacy lived on through the laughing gas. Two shiny objects were glittering in the moonlight which were the mystic egg and the lord beast's core.

The girls were still giggling as they tried to catch their breath, completely overwhelmed by the strange blue gas.
Rio turned around as he carried them both by their waist away from the lake's periphery. He was aware they no longer needed to stay at this place as the Baby's Tears Longevity plant was taken away and the lake would stop showing its strange effect.
After traveling for a mile away from the lake, he stopped in front of a long tree and helped Helia and Nyla who were still giggling and laughing to sit on the ground. The blue gas had badly affected them both.
He took out his bedding as well as mattress and set it near the tree's trunk, Helia and Nyla stumbled towards Rio, still giggling from the effects of the laughing gas.
They both attempted to hug him at the same time but instead ended up collapsing onto the bedding near the trunk of the tree.
Rio pulled them closer and helped them to lie perfectly on the comfy bed that he set up.
Their cheeks were rosy from the gas and their eyes shone with joy as they were both giggling and gasping for air.
