The beast rolled around to get on its four paws as it glared at the girl with the black spear. Its eyes filled with torment and hatred as if the laughing alligator wanted to chew the magenthaired beauty alive.
However, Nyla didn't wait and stabbed with her blazing spear that pierced the flaming beast's head which let out another cry of pain before closing its eyes.
However, the blue gas that was coming out of the hole on its head started to burn as if it was reacting to the fire and was combustive.
Nyla took the core from the ground as she walked back toward her teammates, she said, "It seems the laughing gas no longer works."
Rio was surprised as she saw Nyla's innate skill was the nemesis of laughing gas, he thought "Helia is gonna be mad at these laughing alligators if she finds out that among four of us, she is the only one who gets affected by this gas."
The boy was not going to reveal the truth yet as he thought it would be better if the girls find out themselves later.

As the duo fought with the laughing alligator the night kept getting darker, this also caused more and more beasts to come out from the lake.

The land around the lake was scattered with the bodies of the laughing alligator beasts, their once-smiling faces now frozen in a grimace of pain. As they stood and watched, something started to happen that they knew about. The morning sun seemed to grow brighter, casting its warm rays over the lake and the surrounding forest.
The phenomenon of the alligator beasts escaping out of the lake stopped as yang energy coming from the sun aided to reduce the laughing gas reaction. The water was still and calm once more as if the beasts had never existed at all.
Rio, Nyla, and Helia stood there for a long moment, taking in the peaceful glimpse of the morning.
The magenthaired beauty couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness at what she had just done, but she also knew what she had done was necessary to protect her loved ones in the future as it boosted her strength to a higher level.
As they turned to leave the lake's periphery to go back to their camping place, Rio looked back one last time at the lake and the rising sun before following the girls.
From midnight to sunrise, Nyla was able to kill ten beasts, meanwhile, Rio was able to dispatch twelve. Although the boy was faster at finishing laughing alligator but he didn't want to take all for himself so he left them for the magenthaired beauty as she was advancing in power.
Her black stats points soared to nine from three as eight of the cores provided 0.5 and the remaining two gave one point each.
After sunrise, the trio dug out a large pit far away from the lake and put all the corpses inside so the environment stay habitable for them.
They set up their tent and had their breakfast before going to sleep.
Rio guarded first and let Helia and Nyla sleep, when the lioness woke up, the boy went to sleep beside his wife. Magenthaired beauty slept the most as she was the most tired among the three.
The next night, Nyla hunted eleven while Rio killed eight which finished his quest given by Eve. But This time it was apparent Nyla had surpassed Rio in strength as she was killing the laughing alligator beast without much effort.
Nyla's black stats point reached fifteen from nine as ten of the cores provided 0.5 and the remaining one gave one point.
It was noon time when Rio and Nyla had already finished their sleep and Helia was resting right now.
"I am close to reaching the peak level of the black stage," Nyla mumbled happily as the girl was going to surpass many geniuses in the human world at a very younger age.
