Chapter 170 Magical Golden Berries
A few meters away, Rio was thinking to make their bedding as comfortable as possible as he gazed at the verdant floras around the water spring.
After crafting a good plan. He started gathering a pile of soft, fragrant leaves from the nearby trees and plants, taking care to choose the largest and most supple ones.
Rio began to carefully layer the leaves on top of the sand, arranging them to create a soft and comfy bed.
Nyla and Helia watched in admiration as if he was the most handsome boy they had seen because he was working to improve their comfort.

As he was working, the bedding was finally complete, Rio stood back and spoke with a faint smile, "It's done, we can rest now on a cool and soft bed."
The girls were watching him and didn't try to disturb him until he was done.
"Yeeeeeeeeeee... I love you, Rio... You're the best..." The magenthaired beauty cheered with a lively smile and showed her gratitude.
The lioness also wanted to thank him but her words died down her throat.
Nyla and Helia moved to lie down on the bed of soft leaves, feeling the cool and refreshing sensation brushing against their skin. Although the Lioness was hesitating but she knew the boy had also made it for her so she didn't want to refuse him like old days.
Rio also fell beside his wife as they lay down in the cool grass, feeling the weight of their weary bodies lifts away. They had been traveling for hours through the scorching desert, and the oasis was a welcoming host. But this man-made bed helped them to relax to their heart content.
The trio was gazing up at the sky, watching as the last remnants of sunlight faded away, giving way to the glittering stars above.
The stars twinkled and shimmered, creating a magical illustration above them.
Everyone was silent, lost in the beauty of the night sky after going through a hellish journey.
The only sounds were the soft rustling of the leaves in the trees and their breathing.
"Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?" Nyla asked, her voice filled with wonder as she was sleeping beside her man.
"It's breathtaking, I never get tired of staring at the stars. This was my favorite thing to do when Grandpa passed away. It also reminds me how small we are, and how vast and infinite the universe is. It makes me feel both insignificant and humbled." The crimson-haired boy spoke, his voice sounded as if he was musing and lost in his thoughts.
Helia quietly listened to his words as if he was a great sage sharing his exceptional philosophy with an illiterate world.
They lay in comfortable silence for a while, watching the stars and feeling at peace.
The desert was a harsh and unforgiving place, but moments like this made them feel like it was not that bad.
They were feeling grateful for each other's company but their beloved Lia was missing. The trio enjoyed the beauty of the starry sky high above.
As the night wore on, Helia and Nyla eventually drifted off to sleep, lulled by the sounds of nature and the peaceful feeling of the stars shining above.
Rio didn't sleep as he was planning to guard even though no one asked him to. He wasn't going to put his guard down just because they hadn't met any beast so far.
As the night continued, Rio turned his gaze toward other vegetation that he hadn't inspected before.

"I thought only beast could increase their innate stats points to become Mutant and king tier but this golden berries description says to boost the innate stats points... I should try it first if it really works on me." The boy was surprised to see such magical stats boosting in front of him but he still needed to confirm if it works or not.
He walked towards the Golden berries plant in front of him. There were more than two dozen fruits hanging from the lush green plant. The leaves were shaped in the broad shapes of wings.
He carefully plucked one of the fruit, fearing he would spoil it. As the fruit came in his hand, he didn't feel anything special about it as it looked ordinary and was only of his thumb size.
