"Sweetie... did you able to stop me when we weren't a couple??? How would you forbid me to enter my husband's room now? I'm gonna bang bang bang you for real, Dummy" Nyla threatened him in an adorable voice.
"..." Rio sighed deeply as he knew he wouldn't able to stop this domineering girl who wouldn't listen to him.
The couple talked to each other, hugging one another until the darkness enveloped outside.
Moon was spreading the faint glow over the castle and in Lia's garden. The sky was glittering with shiny stars in the dark night.
Rio went downstairs to ask Yami to send the dinner upstairs as he guessed Lia and Helia would've eaten at the special gathering like how it usually happens.
Late at night, Rio heard footsteps approaching Nyla's bedroom as he get on his foot to greet the person who came in his search.
A figure walked into the room whose appearance brought joy to Rio's heart.
The white-haired beauty went to stand in front of him, before wrapping her hands around his body and placing herself in his warm embrace.
"This feels so comfortable. You're really my happy place." Lia mumbled as she hugged him. She looked tired and her voice was filled with mental exhaustion.
"Has something happened?" Rio questioned, caressing her back as her hands were coiled around him.
"I don't like being at special gatherings where everyone you meet is all fake. It's exhausting to greet them knowing they all like you for the favor and position you have.
Then there are people who would approach you with evil intentions in mind." The white-haired beauty complained and sighed deeply as she remembered all the different cunning people she met in her today's outing.
"It's alright now, Wifey. You're home with me so relax and forget those people." Rio comforted her, his voice was filled with deep affection.
"Yeah...but I wish you were there so it wouldn't be so bad." Lia puffed her cheeks.
"I'll learn the royal etiquettes this week so you don't have to go alone next time," Rio said in a relaxed manner.
Lia saw Nyla was already sleeping which was expected as she was a patient who needed more sleep to recover faster and for better healing.
"Let me go and get freshened up," Lia said as she separated from him.
"Do you need my help to get change?" The boy asked a gentle smile spread on his face as his intention was pure.
"Nooo..." Lia's voice flickered with shyness as she declined it directly and was bashful to imagine what would happen next if he really come to help.
She continued, "I'll go and change into something casual. I will be back in a few minutes."
Rio nodded as the white-haired beauty walked out of the bedroom to go on her own.
After some moment, she came back in a simple silk white night dress with a long white skirt, that made her look alluring yet ravishingly gorgeous.
She discovered Rio was laying on the bed and Nyla was sleeping on the left side of him.
The white-haired beauty went towards his right and climbed onto the bed to hug her loving husband.
"Do you wanna sleep here? We can go to our room." Rio asked as he saw she was planning to sleep and had hugged him to rest.
"It doesn't matter where we sleep, here or in our room. Sleeping sometimes in Nyla's bedroom is not bad either considering we are one family." Lia said as she had her eyes closed.
"Okay," he mumbled and kissed her forehead.
Soon, Helia came to check on her sister as she had also changed into a light pink night dress, resembling pajamas.
As she saw Lia was resting, she said, "it seems like you also got tired from the outing. I'll also go and sleep, so good night Lia."
"Good night my darling sister." The white-haired beauty responded with a gentle smile
'Won't this annoying fellow say anything? Should I wish him a better night before leaving? Ah...no...'
The lioness saw Rio giving him a gaze but not saying words. She gritted her teeth and stormed out of the room.
"She was waiting for you to say something. You should have wished her good night." Lia said.
"How would I know unless she speak and she could've said good night first." The boy answered in a nonchalant tone.
"Helia is not good at opening up to someone and she was hoping you would say it first then she would have followed in.
But I'll leave it to you two how long you kids take to get along. Sooner or later you both would understand each other." The white-haired beauty explained the inner contemplation of her sister.
The trio went into a beautiful dreamland as Rio was in the middle and Lia slept in his embrace, hugging him. Nyla was also snuggling into Rio from the left side and her habit of placing her legs over her sweetheart's body was on full display.
In the morning, the magenthaired beauty woke up first. She felt her face was pressing against something warm and comfortable as she slowly opened her eyes to see it was the person she loved.
'My Rio...he looks so cuteeee...it's the best thing to wake up next to him...Oh...Big sis has also slept here...'
Nyla gazed at her boy with affection-filled eyes as she discovered Lia was sleeping in Rio's embrace right beside her.
She climbed down from her bed and went to the bathroom to wash up her face and eyes.
After some time, Nyla came back as she saw the couple was still resting.
'I should check if sister Helia is awake.'
The magenthaired beauty walked outside of the bedroom to go to the neighbor's room.
