"When would you come back?" Rio asked as he didn't like her leaving since he had recently come from the wild.
"I would have skipped going but Father was saying it's an important gathering where they would talk about some crucial matters of empire and I have to be present there.
Although my heart doesn't accept leaving when you just had such a big mishap and I want to bring you along but we have to be prepared completely before you make your first debut in front of those sly foxes." Lia said, her voice was filled with heavy emotion as her face was drowned in sadness to leave him here alone.
"Don't get sad about it. It's just a few hours. I will just take a rest." Rio said, caressing her soft cheeks with his hands as they were looking at each other's reflection in the mirror.
Lia turned to look into his segreen eyes and smiled at him, "You could've stayed with your new wife but you came to meet me while I'm getting ready... This assures me further your heart and soul both are mine and mine only.
However, Husband...you shouldn't treat her unfairly now...even though I avoided binding you to an oath to love her but I hope you would at least give her what she deserves...in this selfish world you won't find a second Nyla who would sacrifice herself even when you didn't reciprocate her love...."
The girl tried to convince him as she thought Rio might still give Nyla a cold shoulder because he left her to meet his wife when the magenthaired beauty was still recovering and might want him by her side.
"I won't disappoint you or her. You both are my wives. Although in my heart I will always treasure you more but I won't let her feel I love her less." Rio said, his voice was calm as he assured her.
Lia inclined towards his cheeks and pecked his left cheek but as she was withdrawing she felt a sudden lip-locking for a second as Rio returned her a kiss on her plumpy cherry-like red lips.
The white-haired beauty was a little surprised but then she felt pleasant and turned around to get ready properly.
Rio stayed with her wrapping his hand around her belly and putting his neck on her shoulder as he watched her using all womanly cosmetics to enhance her already bewitching look to another level.
After some time passed, approaching footsteps sounded as Helia arrived.
She was wearing a yellow long skirt with a white top as she looked like a noble princess with fine beauty who was enveloped in elegance and grace.
The girl could've made Rio's heartbeat faster if he didn't have the protection of Lia being his wife and their bitter past.
"You haven't been ready yet?" She said as the girl walked to them.
Rio saw her and said in a relaxed manner, "You seem like a delicate aromatic flower in your new get-up. If you wear these dresses more often then I wouldn't think you're a thug hired by the royal family."
"You...if it didn't take me so much trouble to get ready I would've kicked your ass even if it caused me to dress again" Helia grumbled, clenching her fist.
"Husband...you should've helped her to get ready since she needs your help more," Lia said with a gentle smile.
"Okay, since you're saying I'll help her next time." Rio agreed right away as he knew this would make the lioness more annoyed.
"No...I don't need this pervert's help to get ready." Helia refused, her neck and cheeks had a redness spreading on the skin as she thought getting her clothes stripped by Rio one by one then he helped her to wear a new set of clothes.
"I'm not a pervert. I helped her do the hair and other kinds of stuff. It's your dirty mind that's going wild." Rio spoke in a nonchalant voice.
"It's okay, Helia. I understand you didn't imagine all those things." Lia added fuel to the fire as the lioness became even more embarrassed.
"Here I thought I would be an advantage after Nyla joined my team against him but I forgot I have an adorable sister who would betray me shamelessly." The blonde-haired beauty complained in an irritated tone.
Lia giggled at her words and the Lioness dropped her shoulder in defeat as she felt tired of handling this couple.
Rio patted her head gently as she looked like she was really bullied by them.
The girl stared daggered at his cute action but didn't resist his approach.
The beautiful sisters were all ready and prepared to leave for the special gatherings.
Lia wrapped her hand around Rio's hand and walked downstairs while Helia followed alongside them. The trio looked dazzling as they descended the stairs.
Yami and the other maids all took a peek to watch these magnificent figures as they traveled to the entrance.
When they were at the door, Lia turned around and inclined towards Rio with a smile.
"Take care, Husband" She whispered into his ear before pecking his lips with a soft kiss.
Yami and the other girls gasped in amazement as they noticed this situation. What was even more that they saw was Helia didn't find it strange.
'If the princess didn't find it abnormal that means this initial action is normal for her highness and the boy'
The chief maid came to a conclusion as she saw it happen in front of her.
Helia was happy in her heart as she saw their relationship being lovey-dovey although it annoyed her to look at this stupid fellow.
The royal sisters left the empress villa, instructing Yami to fulfill any of Rio's demands if he asks her anything.
'What does she mean by anything? Do I have to even serve him my pure body?'
Chief maid her weird thoughts developing in her mind as the princess and empress left.
The girl didn't know that there was a ravishing beauty upstairs waiting for Rio for a long time. The boy didn't need anyone else when he was the husband of two beautiful wives.
