"Cayden, you're hurting me." Ariana said, causing Cayden to stop. He immediately released her hand and turned to face her. "Sorry... I was... a little too heated." He said with apologetic face. Ariana instantly blushed, she couldn't hide her delight. She was seeing so many sides of Cayden that she couldn't help but feel special. "Well isn't this a pleasant surprise! Cayden what are you doing here?" A sickly sweet voice called out. Within seconds Cayden's face turned stone cold as he faced the person calling out to him.

"Good afternoon Ms. Brenton." He said as he gave Vanessa a polite bow. "Yes good afternoon. Where are you heading with Ms. Drake." She asked as a group of girls started whispering behind her. Cayden raised his head and looked at Vanessa with indifference. "I was asked by Mrs. Dabney to escort Ariana to her next class. In order to ensure she is not punished for her tardiness again." He said robotically. Ariana could feel her heartache. The person in front of her was not Cayden, she reached out but Vasu blocked her hand and cuddled against her instead. 'Don't break character.' He said making Ariana recall what Mrs. Dabney had said earlier.

She wrapped her arms around Vasu and sighed. She stepped around Cayden and gave Vanessa and her groupies a polite smile. "Good afternoon Ms. Brenton. Are you on your way to the magic battle class?" She asked cheerfully but felt like she was dying from disgust on the inside. "Of course I am!" Vanessa spat as she flicked back her sandy blonde, ringlet hair. "Oh my Ms. Brenton! Did you perchance change your hairstyle because of me?" She asked as she batted her eyes.

A vein popped out just underneath her right eye. "I didn't change it for you!" Vanessa snapped. "Well at least it makes you look a lot older." Ariana said with a bright smile. Vanessa grabbed a lock of hair and stroked it with hopeful eyes. "Really?" She asked and Ariana nodded her head along with the other girls while Cayden just stared. "Of course! With you hair down and not in those G*d awful pigtails you look to be about 12!" Ariana shouted in delight. The girls averted their gazes as the covered their mouths, trying their best to hold in their laughter while Cayden turned his head to cough.

"You b*tch! How dare you insult me!" She spat. "Yes, yes, b*tch, slut, moron, a**hole, whatever. I'm a horrible human being, I get it but we should really be heading to class now." Ariana said as she put her hands on Vanessa and turned her around. "Wait! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Vanessa shouted in protest. "Getting you to class on time silly! Didn't you hear I got into a lot of sh*t because I was late and I swear you do not want to go through with what happened to me! So let's get a move on." Ariana said happily but Vanessa kept her feet firmly on the ground. "I am not going anywhere!" Vanessa shouted.

"Well of course not! Not like this anyways, so up we go." Ariana said as she effortlessly picked up Vanessa and held her in a princess carry. Vanessa instantly turned red and tried to look at Cayden for help. "You ladies follow us so you're not late too." Ariana said as she started to run. "Thanks Cayden for your help today see you some other time!" She shouted enthusiastically as the group of girls were left behind, dumbfounded. Cayden continued to cough as he turned and walked away.

"You stupid b*tch put me down!" Vanessa shrieked as she flailed her arms and legs in the air. "We are almost there." Ariana said as she kept up her pace, completely ignoring Vanessa's tantrum. "You cow, turd, pile of dung! Just stop already!" Vanessa continued to shout. "Look we made it!" Ariana cheered as she threw her hands into the air, dropping Vanessa onto the ground. "Oops! So sorry was a little too excited there." Ariana said as she stretched out a helping hand. "Like I would take your hand now!" Vanessa yelled as her eyes shone with a fiery blaze.

"Alright! As long as you don't need my help. See you later Ms. Brenton." Ariana said playfully as she scurried along. "How dare you leave me on the ground!" Ariana could her Vanessa shouting as she left. Ariana giggled to herself and went further into the training area. She quickly found the girls and rushed up to them. "Hi!" She shouted happily and they turned to greet her back.

"Professor Rain wasn't too hard on you was he?" Halina asked and Ariana shook her head no. "Just some extra reading. Thank you though without your help I would have been stuck in that whirlwind for heaven knows how long." She replied. "I think you would have found a way out." Halina said as she winked at Ariana. "You already know me so well." Ariana replied as she flashed a cat like grin. "Well that might be true, considering your quick explanation of the incantations was much easier to understand then the lecture we had." Talisha said.

"You mean because it was all the answers?" She asked as she nudged Talisha. "I have no idea what you mean." She responded with a devilish smile. "But I gotta say I heard a word that I liked in your list." Talisha said as she cracked her knuckles. "Carefully, you don't want to ruin your ladylike image." Ariana whispered and Talisha froze mid cracking. "But then again I don't think I would mind too much. Might even fall for you." Ariana teased as she blew Talisha a few kisses.

"Some piece of sh*t was talking trash about my family!" She shouted but Mr. Dabney shook his head. "Let it go." He said firmly but Ariana stood her ground and glared back at him. "No." She said flatly. "Excuse me?" He said with a firm tone but Ariana puffed out her chest. "No. This is a form of harassment based on my family's past choices. They worked hard to change their image and give back to the community. They are the pioneers for a service other then sex and I will not let someone look down on them." Ariana said with conviction.

"Ha! I bet most of their customers only looked down on them." Someone said and Mr. Dabney snapped up his head. "You! Front and center." He shouted as he pointed into the crowd. A broad shoulder male stepped forward, he walked up to Mr. Dabney with a cocky smile and head tossed back. "Name." He demanded but the male just gave a small laugh as his cream coloured eyes flash with arrogance. "Can you really not see the family resemblance?" The male said as he flashed a toothy grin. "Name." Mr. Dabney demanded a little more forcefully. "Fine. Lucius Malone. From Malone pharmaceuticals." He said with a haughty attitude.

"Demonstration time. I was going to do this by the book but screw it. For those of you that don't know my name it's Pascal Dabney, I can give two sh*ts what you call me just remember to call me with respect. Now, you Mr. Malone and you Ms. Drake will be acting as my little demonstrators." He said as he clapped his hands together and started to rub them together with anticipation. "Everyone follow me." Mr. Dabney called out as he walked through two giant iron gate doors and into a flatted field surrounded by a massive brick wall.

"Theses are the training grounds for everyone to use. They are set up differently according to the day of the week and you can find the schedule in your handbooks. Now since I want to get you guys to dive right in. Mr. Malone could you please come up to this lovely little device." Mr. Dabney said he pointed towards a stand alone station. Lucius graciously walked over and brushed back his medium length, walnut brown hair with icy blue tips. Making sure he flexed his muscular arm as he did. Some girls started to swoon while others rolled their eyes.

"Please step into the light green circle on the platform and keep perfectly still." Mr. Dabney said as he flipped a switch. "This is safe right?" Lucius asked as he started to sweat. "Of course it is! This little invention was created by none other then Professor Rain." He replied as he took a few steps back. The station started to blink and make sounds as it slowly detached two arms from the the side of the platform. They raised into the air and opened up, making a u-like shape.

"Now, these do thingys right here will scan you from various angles while the circle comes up and scans you some more." Mr. Dabney said as he pointed to various parts of the station. "What do you mean scan me?" Lucius said when suddenly the u-shaped arms started to spark and a field was created in between them. The arms quickly moved and Ariana covered her mouth so she wouldn't laugh out loud. Everyone else was glued, watching the station analyze Lucius while in her mind it looked like someone was playing a cruel joke by trying to trap the young male in various bubble wands.

Ariana could feel tears started to escape from her eyes as she continued to hold in her laughter. The whole process took less then 30 seconds and the outside of the platform rose up. Everyone gasped in awe as a light green barrier came up and plastered itself against Lucius's body. It lit up for a second and then exploded into tiny green particles. Lucius was standing in the middle completely changed into his training uniform while his school uniform was nicely folder at the corner of the platform.

"Come on down now." Mr. Dabney said as he motioned his hand to Lucius to move. Lucius stepped down and looked at his hands and body in awe. He was wearing a form fitted, long sleeve, navy blue spandex like shirt. A light brown, cargo leather vest, with multiple pockets. A pair of black, fingerless gloves on his hands while his bottom half had a pair of green camouflage pants and black military grade boots. "Element proof, weapon resistant and machine washable training uniforms. You only get one set, if you lose it you will have to pay to get another set and these things do not come cheap." Mr. Dabney shouted towards the students. "So keep them safe. Now Ms. Drake your turn."

Ariana dashed up and stepped onto the platform. She stood perfectly still as the station did its job. When it was done Ariana saw that her uniform was the exact same as Lucius's. She felt a bit disappointed and collected her uniform. "This station will be here for the remainder of the month. Take the time now or come back later to get your uniform." He said as he snatched up Ariana's and Lucius school uniforms. "I'll keep these safe until the demonstration is over." He said then pointed out to the center of the field. "This is were you will come when you challenge someone to unofficial match. You two." Mr. Dabney said as he pointed to Ariana and Lucius. "Get out there and fight."

"My pleasure." Ariana said as she pulled out her ribbon and let her hair tumble downwards. Lucius instantly stopped smiling and gawked at Ariana. With her hair down she looked more mature, more exotic, more alluring, in short just plain sexy especially with a form fitting shirt. Lucius could feel himself blush and tried to avert his gaze but found himself glued. Ariana quickly pulled her hair back and tied it up in a ponytail, fastening it off with the ribbon. Ariana grinned and walked out to the middle of the field with her Lumas in tow.

'Ariana are you nervous?' Loralei asked as they walked out. "Big time." She said as she made it to the center of the field. 'What is there to be nervous about?! You have us at your disposal! There should be nothing but blood shed! Your victim will feel so overwhelmed that he will kneel in mercy and beg you to end his life.' Rahul laughed madly but Ariana could feel herself break out into a cold sweat. "Two problems with that though." She said nervously. "One, I cannot afford to get cut. I bleed, I'm done. Second, I haven't been able to fight the way Vera says we are supposed to fight."

'.... Do you have to?' Vasu asked as he floated in front of her. "Is this not a demonstration? I mean I have to fight how they tell me to fight, right?" She said but Vasu shook his head. 'Fight with your instincts the rest can come later.' He replied. "You're talking more then usually." Ariana said flatly. Vasu stared at Ariana keeping his mouth shut. "Don't think I have forgiven you for what you did. We will have a long talk later, do you hear me?" Ariana scolded Vasu causing his beady eyes to water. "are you ready to fight?" Lucius stuttered as he walked up to Ariana, still blushing like a young school boy.

"Mr. Dabney are their any rules?" Ariana asked as she brought up her fists. "Nope. Just fight how you want to and the class will break down the fight. So students please watch carefully, you may be quizzed." Mr. Dabney said as he crossed his arms over his broad chest and gave a toothy smile, making sure his canines were visible. "Awesome." She whispered as a wicked grin spread across her face.

Lucius gulped as he looked at Ariana in her fighting stance. Something was wrong, he knew something was wrong with him but he couldn't figure it out. Her furrowed brow, sly grin, her fist framing her beautiful face and her twinkling aquamarine eyes. Her eyes were so captivating, he couldn't help but stare. He put his hand over top of his chest and felt his heart beating hard under his touch.

"Begin!" Mr. Dabney shouted. Ariana rushed forward and jumped into the air. "Davita!" She shouted and her green, chibi, winged snake blushed as she turned into light and wrapped herself around Ariana's fists. Ariana pulled back her fist and came down hard over top of Lucius. A giant cloud of dust spread upwards like a mushroom cloud as she impacted. Everyone shielded their eyes as a gust of dirt and wind swept through the area. When everything settled Mr. Dabney took a step forward, smiling like a fool. "Winner Ariana Drake!" He shouted with pride. Everyone else was dumbstruck. They had seen Ariana fight in the official challenge but this was to much.

In a span of 20 seconds Ariana was able to beat Lucius into a pile of discarded black and blue meat. "Well that was not much of a demonstration... someone take him to the infirmary and make sure to tell my beloved wife how this happened." He said as he started to take off his white button shirt to reveal a dark blue, mesh, tank top. Some people gawked as he started to stretch his well toned muscles. "Well as the good teacher that I am, I really should be the one to demonstrate how a fight should go." He said as a wicked grin appeared on his face and his eyes started to glow with excitement. "Mr. Dabney..." Ariana said awkwardly as she took a step back. "I don't think that is very necessary."

"Well let's begin!" He shouted demonically as he lunged forward. "Loralei!" Ariana shouted as her purple, fish chibi flashed and turned into a massive wall blocking Mr. Dabney's fist. "Oh... so we are using familiars in this fight... very well." He said as he straightened up his back. Ariana broke out into a cold sweat as she watched his muscles twitch with anticipation. He brought up his hand and snapped his fingers. "Well this should be interesting." He said as green light ignited his fingertips.
