My Way To You 8 The Guild, The Doctor and The Girl

She placed her ear against the door and heard muffled voices. As far as she could tell there was someone shouting and suddenly the door was thrown open. It caught her off guard and she stumbled inwards, landing on her face.

"You scummy, disease infested sl*t! How can you just stand there snickering when a child just got hurt in front of you?!" Lady Zula started screeching with full force as she quickly went to inspect Ariana. "Oh sweet pea are you alright? ...?!" Lady Zula gasped and took off her shoes. She sent one flying towards the woman who was still holding the door like a moron.

The heel land right into her forehead and she bent over with pain. "You move your hips quickly but you can't seem to move your legs! Go get the f*cking medic my child's nose is bleeding!" she yelled at the top of her lungs. The curvaceous blond ran out the door and Lady Zula took the opportunity to aim her other high heeled shoe at her a** and sent it flying.

After a good "Hmph!" she bent down and picked up Ariana. She left the door open purposely for the medic and carried the girl in her arms to a chair. She pulled out a handkerchief from between her plump bosoms and then looked at it. She thought better of it and shoved it back in. "Brian you turd faced monkey pass me your handkerchief!" she demanded with her hand extended.

Brian pulled open one of his desk drawers and was about to hand her one when she stood up and walked over. "Nevermind I know where your hands have been and I don't want you contaminating my child with that wh*res bodily fluids!" she hissed as she grabbed the handkerchief out of the drawer and walked back to Ariana who was sitting in a plush, leather chair.

"Zula don't be like that you know Inka is a wonderful woman." Brian started to complain but Lady Zula shot him a dirty look as she pinched Ariana's nose. "Ha! I know woman better than anyone else and that woman is looking to take every piece of gold you have in your possession. If you want someone who will love and cherish you I will help you find her but you stay away from that one or else you will regret it." she said with a deadly tone that it sent a shiver down Ariana's spine.

"Well if you had accepted my marriage proposal years ago we wouldn't be having this conversation now would we!" Brian said as he slammed his dark fist against his desk. Lady Zula rolled her eyes. "Please we both know we see each other as brother and sister and there is nothing more between us.... besides you know there is someone else in my heart."

Brian stood up and walked around the desk and stood right beside Lady Zula. He was about to place a hand on her shoulder when suddenly Ariana started to scream and covered her eyes with both hands. Lady Zula looked over and saw his hand mid air and then looked a little lower. Her face became pale and she quickly kicked Brian in the gut and sent him flying into his desk.

"You disgusting piece of trash! Were you seriously going to touch me with those hands! Leave! Wash up and then check your rod as it seems to be greeting my child!" she yelled and covered Ariana's hands with her own to make sure she didn't see anything else.

Brian swore as he got up and readjusted himself before he left the room. "I'm so sorry you had to see that sweetie... and I'm sorry I pushed you backwards I was trying to stop you from seeing something else." she cooed as she placed her forehead against hers.

Soon the medic came rushing in and spotted Lady Zula right away. "Madam are you ok?!" he shouted in a panic and Lady Zula stood up making way for him to step in. She raised her hands, revealing a blooded handkerchief and he immediately rushed over to look her over.

"Sammie it's not me that's injured." she protested as the young man looked over her hands and arms. "It's my daughter that is hurt can you please look her over." she said shyly as she took her arm back from him. The man blinked a couple of times as he stared at Lady Zula and repeated what she said. "Your daughter?"

Lady Zula nodded with a bashful face. "Yes, she right behind you." she said as she awkwardly turned him around. A tall, tanned gentle looking man, with soft green eyes and burgundy coloured hair looked at Ariana curiously. Ariana extended her hand outwards and introduced herself. "How do you do my name is Ariana and I am currently being adopted by Lady Zula." she said in a clear voice.

The doctor sighed a breath of relief and shook the girl's hand. "Samuel Grey, I'm 35 years old and am currently single. I'm free most Sunday's and usually my hours are on call as I live here but if you ever need my help you can come find me." he said with a smile as he glanced back at Lady Zula to see if she had a reaction.

"So that's the story behind the kid! Here I thought you got knocked up again in secret and just decided to introduce her to the world." a dark skinned man said as he leaned against the door. Ariana looked him over and noted that he had the same appearance as Becca but was more built and taller than her. He wore his ebony hair in a small top knot while streaks of red ran through his long fringe.

"Mister did you remember to pull up your zipper this time or should we call that Inka lady to give you a hand?" Ariana said sweetly causing Lady Zula to snicker behind her hand. Brian scowled at Ariana and then looked at Lady Zula. "Zula you sure you didn't give birth to this brat cause she sure sounds like you!"

Lady Zula started coughing and Sammie turned to look at her with concern. "No... she came into my possession and little while ago. Her parents sold her to me and well she kinda grew on me and now I'm going to adopt her." she said with a shrug.

Sammie looked at Lady Zula with sparkling eyes and Lady Zula became flushed as she looked away. "Well Zula you came down here for what exactly." Brian said bitterly as he walked back to his desk and sat down. "Firstly I wanted Sammie to give her a check up, her nose stopped bleeding but I want to make sure she's ok. Secondly I want to talk to you about hiring protection for her." she said courtly as she faced Brian.

"You know the rules Zula fill out the paperwork, then Marina will process it in the office, she'll post it and if someone wants to do it they will contact you." he said dryly as he fiddled with a pen. Lady Zula slammed her hand onto his desk completely enraged. "No Brian that will take too long someone tried to kidnap her just last night! I will not lose her because of your rules." she spat into his face.

Then men were taken aback by her reaction and were at a loss for words. Ariana tugged at Sammie's sleeve to get his attention. "Mr. Grey can I have my check up please?" she whispered into his ear. He got up quickly and excused himself as he grabbed her hand and lead her out of the room, closing the door behind them. "Let's give them some space to discuss things." he said awkwardly.

Ariana nodded and held his hand tighter. They walked down the stairs and were greeted by loud cheers. "Little lady have anymore insight for us today?" a lizardman started to yell to her and it caused her to openly stare. She had never seen anything but humans and was completely fascinated by the creature with blue scales and a green fins on top of his head and the side of his wrists.

She let go of the medic's hand and walked over to the lizardman, she reached out her hand and gently touched his skin. "So soft and beautiful." she said under her breath that it caught him off guard. "You must be very proud of your skin, it so flawless like a sapphire that shines under the sun light." she said as she smiled up to the lizardman. The room had gone quiet and everyone's eyes were glued on the two.

The lizardman lifted up his claw and everyone held their breath. Then he placed his hand on top of her head and started to rub it, the moment he did everyone let out their breath in relief. "Your so brave to come up to me." he said in a happy tone. Ariana looked up into his face and saw that he was actually blushing. The lizardman moved his hand off her hand and started to search his satchel.

"My name is Seeley, it is very nice to meet you." he said as he handed Ariana a rainbow coloured lollipop. Ariana's face started to shine as she happily took the candy. "Thank you Mr. Seeley! My name is Ariana, I hope we can become friends!" she said as she jumped up and kissed the bottom of his jaw before she skipped back to the medic. She quickly waved good bye to everyone before they disappeared behind a door.

Ariana unwrapped the lollipop and immediately started to suck on it. "I can see why Lady Zula has taken a liking to you. You're quite smart and open minded." Sammie said as he lead her into another room that looked like it was behind the administration office. She batted her eyelashes as looked at Sammie quizzically. "I speak my mind, I openly show affection and take no mind in what others see me as. So as per your comment no I am not trying to win favor with Mr. Seeley, I was rude enough to stare and I needed him to know why." she told him matter of factly.

Sammie was shocked by her mannerism that he was at a loss for words. "As for the kiss, he gave me a wonderful looking lollipop, I needed to return the kindness. Now good doctor let's commence the check up before my mother gets worried." she said as she hopped up onto the examining bench and pulled off her dress.

"How did you know I was a doctor and not a regular medic?" Sammie asked as her gathered his equipment. "Easily you have your own office with a plate on the door." Ariana said as she rewrapped her lollipop carefully. The doctor turned and looked at her with wonderous eyes. "So you are observant." he said as he looked into her eyes with an otoscope. "You're eye colour is very beautiful." he murmured as he put the otoscope away.

Ariana stayed silent and just watched him work. Everyone once in a while he would talk to himself as he did the check up. "Have you always had these two flowers below you left shoulder blade." Sammie asked her directly. "As far as I know I was born with it. 10 bright pink, heart shaped petals with the points facing inwards. Each flower has 5 petals and one flower is slightly bigger then the other correct?" she said dryly. She heard the doctor start counting out loud and then made some notes.

"Ok Ariana you can put your dress back on we are almost done." he said as he grabbed some tubes. "I'm just going to draw some blood and run some tests it." he said and was instantly surprised to see Ariana break out into a sweat. Her eyes were wide, her pupils dilated, her body was violently trembling while her pink lips quivered in fear. "Are you ok?" he asked as her placed a hand on her forehead.

"I don't know... I just saw the tubes and my body won't stop shaking." she said as she clutched her dress. The doctor shoved the tubes into his pocket and grabbed her shoulders. "It's ok, we don't have to draw blood today we can do it another day. How about we go find your mom instead?" he said gently trying to get her attention away from the tubes in his pocket.

She nodded her head in agreement. He sighed and helped her down. He opened his office door and lead her past the administration office. When he started to open the next door he heard someone asking Marina a question about a young girl.
