"Excuse me, can you help me?" Three more doll like girls asked as they slowly walked up to Ariana from her right. It looked like they materialised out of thin air. Ariana took a few steps back. Vasu started to struggle against the doll like girl's embrace. Ariana turned to her left another two doll like girls appeared. "I'm lost." They said in unison.
Duko transformed into his wolf form and tackled the two girls down. 'Get out of here! I can't sense them, we are completely blind.' He growled before he opened his massive jaw and snapped it shut on their heads. Ariana watched as he ripped their heads from their body but no blood came out. Instead they burst into black, glittering sand. 'Ariana duck!' Davita shouted as she flicked her tail a few times.
Ariana ducked and wind blades flew over her, cutting down the three remaining girls. They burst into black, glittering sand. Ariana got up and narrowd her eyes on the girl on the ground. Ariana rushed forward, she jumped over the girl,grabbing Vasu as she flew over. The doll like girl snarled as she was lifted into the air.
As Ariana curved her body mid air she kicked the doll like girl hard in the stomach. Ariana put her full strength into her kick and the doll like girl flew backwards as her arms ripped out of her shoulders. She burst into sand mid flight and Vasu was freed.
Ariana rolled then slid across the grass as she landed. She then heard screams from the street behind her. She looked up while Vasu laid in her arms protectively. A twenty more doll like girls appeared on the street and actually grabbed some people's hands. The people started to scream as their bodies turned into sand and were absorbed into the doll like girl.
Ariana quickly turned back and looked at the doll like girl in Loralei's bubble. To her horror more doll like girls appeared and her Lumas had changed to their true forms as they dealt with each one. While the one in Loralei's bubble started to absorb the magically barrier. "Loralei!" Ariana shouted as she rushed forward while carring Vasu. "Let that thing go!" She ordered but Loralei could barely hold herself up anymore, she laid on the ground listlessly in her chibi form. While the doll like girl's boddy started to morph and grow.
"Break Loralei's barrier bubble and don't touch that doll!" Ariana ordered. 'On it.' Vasu called out. Ariana let Vasu go and he quickly changed into a stag. He rushed forward and rammed his antlers into the bubble. He was able to destroy it with ease. While Davita sliced the air, sending out a barrage of arial attacks to the remaining dolls.
The mutated girl growled. She had doubled in size, her body arched as her massives knuckles laid on the ground. She had a grotesque hunched back and an oversized lower jaw. Fangs protruded upwards as her indigo coloured eyes became beady and dark purple. The mutated girl spotted Davita's attacks and dodged every single one. Davita sent another arial attack while Aroha sent out a concentrated water blast. Both attacks landed on the mutated girl.
Ariana watched and gasped as their attacks did nothing to the mutated girl. She stood there grinning as if the attacks tickled her. Ariana closed her eyes and looked inside herself. A wave of relief washed over her when she spotted her pedestals. However her starbursts looked tired and weak. She walked up to Celestite and held out her hand. "I'm sorry but I really need your help."
Ariana opened her eyes and ran forward. Her hands started to glow a soft blue then her water chakrams appeared. She jumped up into the air and raised both arms as she pinpointed her target. Ariana used her full strength threw her chakrams at the mutated girl's throat. The mutated girl caught sight of Ariana's attack and raised her thick arm, swinging it in order to stop the chakrams.
The chakrams cleanly cut through the mutated girl's arm in two spots just as Ariana's feet touched the ground. To the mutated girl's surprise her arm pieces fell to the ground then burst into dark sand. She started heave heavy then burst out into a wail. Ariana quickly covered her ears as her chakrams burst. "Return to you stone forms." Ariana shouted over top of the mutated girl's wails. 'We can't leave you defenseless!' Aroha shouted as she looked behind Ariana. The doll like girls stopped their attacks and looked in their direction.
'Ariana behind you!' Aroha shouted. 'They are coming this way!' Duko yelled. Ariana looked back and felt her blood run cold. "I can't let those things absorb you!" Ariana shouted as she turned to her Lumas. "We don't have time do it now!" She ordered as she called up her chakrams again then lunged at the mutated girl. The mutated girl was too distracted from her cries and didn't bock Ariana's attack. Ariana sliced the mutated girls throat and successfully killed it.
"The rest will be easy." Ariana said as she got showered in black, glittering sand. "If you stay no one will be safe." She continued as she slowy crouched down. The Lumas looked at one another then looked at Loralei. She was barely able to keep her eyes open and she had directly touched the doll like girl. 'Fine but if they start to absorb you we are coming back out.' Aroha said as she turned herself into light. 'We are your army do not fall without us.' Rahul said as his light approached her ear.
'I'm sorry I didn't listen sooner.' Loralei said apologetically as she took her spot of Ariana's ear. 'Stay safe.' Duko said as he changed into a stone stud earring. 'I'll be watching closely.' Vasu said as he took his place on Ariana's ear. Ariana took a deep breath in and rushed foward just as the doll like girls got close enough. Suddenly air blades flew past her. A fair amount of doll like girls burst. 'I'm not leaving! I can fight!' Davita shouted.
