My Way To You 277 Looks and Make up

Ariana then took a quick glance at the doors and saw that the cracks became wider and in turn her smile grew wider. "Looks? Make up? Food and perfume? I don't see the connection." Vera said with a small shake of her head shake. "Easy. We do all this things to attract out partner. To have them steal a glance, to take a closer sniff and give them scandalous ideas so we can get well essential them." Ariana said with a light laugh. Vera looked even more confused.

"Okay here is a good example. You know the kabedon that I just did to you." Ariana stated as she held up her index finger in the air. "Yes." Vera replied with a nod of her head. "When you imagined Payton doing this to you, did you realize that your eyes glazed over and your lips slightly pouted and parted?" Ariana asked as waved her index finger at Vera while a mischievous glint flashed in her eyes.

Vera almost jumped out of her skin as she vigorously shook her head no. "Of course not! It was unintentional, nature made you that way as a means to invite your partner into the first stages of the mating ritual. In other words your body was openly inviting him to kiss you." Ariana finished stating causing Vera's jaw to drop. "But I'm not that kind of loose girl!" Vera shouted.

"You're not being loose you are just reacting to a specific situation, it's nature! The kabedon made your heart pump against your chest, you became nervous and witless, your brain got switched to auto response so your desires leaked out and honestly if I was Payton I would have happily kissed you but I'm sorry to say my heart belongs to Cayden. Any man would be stupid to not kiss you with the look you gave." Ariana said with a wave of her index finger like a pendulum, it went back in forth as if she was saying no. "....So your saying I could use this look to my advantage?" Vera asked cautiously.

"Of course! There are some girls who know about this look and have perfected it in a way to attract the opposite or in some cases the same sex. BUT it's just not girls the boys have their own looks and tactics as well." Ariana said as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Wait what?!" Vera shouted.

"Don't believe me? That move I used on you, the kabedon. It is the most ideal way for a male to corner his love interest and confess. Why? Because your pinned against the wall, your heart is pumping, your nervous from fear and excitement and the distance between you is so small you could practically feel the person's breath on you. The get the best results from the kabedon, it's practically an automatic yes and a kiss. It's a killer combo!" Ariana said as she closed her eyes and nodded her head.

She then uncrossed her arms and shrugged. "They know what they're doing and use it to their advantage. Especially when it comes to groups of girls where they can literally pick the best of the best. I mean how many girls swoon over a simple glance from a guy? It's because he has that cold confidence that make him irresistible. If you could be the only person a cold and aloof guy would ever open up to wouldn't you feel special?" Ariana asked.

"I guess I would...." Vera answered reluctantly. "Exactly!" Ariana shouted as she pointed at Vera. "And if he gave you that glance wouldn't you want to look your best? You know innocent, pure, somewhat naive or in some causes just a little seductive? Just a little bit different from other girls so that he can remember you, practically standout at any given moment?" Ariana asked as she dropped her finger and leaned in. "Well yes." Vera replied. "That's where make up comes in. If you can make your face look absolutely perfect, to make all your best features stand out while correcting your flaws wouldn't you wear it all the time?" Ariana asked bluntly.

"But can anyone look that different with make up?" Vera asked. "Definitely! Your face is a blank canvas! Just like any work of art you need to have patience and lots of practice. What works for one girl may not work for another, we all have different canvases. Have you heard the story about the woman who was abandoned after her honeymoon?" Ariana asked. "No." Vera said with a slightly shake of her head. Suddenly some girls started to silently walk out of the dorm rooms and Ariana couldn't help but laugh in victory inside her heart.

"She perfected her make up technique to the point that her husband thought he was marrying a natural born beauty. Her technique was absolutely flawless that she looked like she had no make up on whatsoever! However after they slept together he woke up to her true face and was horrified! He had no idea that she was actually plain and that he fell in love with her painted face not her." Ariana explained. "That's horrible." A girl said from behind Ariana.

Ariana spun around. "I know but he was stupid to leave her." The girls looked confused as they looked at one another. No one understood why the man was stupid. He had ever reason to run away. He was tricked into thinking he was marrying a beauty. "Why?" Another girl asked. "It wasn't a natural beauty but a painted face. If she had perfected her make up technique then that meant she was adaptable. So in his eyes she would never grow old, she would always look young and beautiful, someone that people would envy. If they had children, she could pass on her techniques to her children and their whole family could be beautiful, including him." Ariana said.

"Now you lost me. Why would he look beautiful?" Another girl asked. Ariana smiled wickedly and motioned everyone to move in closer. "Make up is not just used by women. Men can use it too." Ariana whispered. The whole corridor exploded with gasps and disbelief. Suddenly Ariana's dorm room door opened and her roommates popped out. Ariana waved as their jaws dropped when the saw that she was the center of attention.
