"Did you learn how to do this at the Sugar Apple Cafe Classes that you mentioned?" Mr. Klopp asked. "This was one of the desserts that was taught previously. Recipes change according to the season. We also sell this at the cafe. It is a relatively simple recipe, it is only egg, milk, sugar and cinnamon. Even the sauce on top is cinnamon, sugar and water but it takes patience to make flan." Ariana explained.

"There is no way something that simple can be this delicious?!" Mr. Johnpine shouted in disbelief. "Usually the simpler things in life are the most wonderful." Ariana responded with a gentle smile. "Well Mrs. Gale if you could proceed to making the announcement." Mr. Krone said as he took another bite of flan.

"Excuse me?!" Virginia hissed as she got off the ground. "Your public apology. I can personally attest that you have boasted that your food was better then the Sugar Apple Cafe. Isn't that what you said to my wife so she could become one of your patrons?" Mr. Klopp said as he put his spoon down.

"What nonsense are you spouting?! I will never do such a thing! I will never apologize to this brat! I will never admit defeat! You must four must have conspired against me from the start to make me look like a fool! I demand justice! I demand that this child apologize to me! I demand that I be compensated for your betrayal!" Virginia shouted as her face turned red.

Ariana looked at Virginia and sighed. She then walked over and grabbed the last piece of flan. She then walked back and presented it to Virginia. "Try a bite. See the difference." Ariana said as she looked Virginia in the eyes. "Why would I eat something made for commoners!" Virginia shouted as she raised her hand. The crowd gasped as she swung her hand towards Ariana.

Lobo rushed forward to stop Virginia but to everyone's surprise Ariana caught Virginia's wrist. "What right do you have to strike me?" Ariana asked coolly. Virginia was shocked, she wasn't expecting a little girl to have so much strength. "D-d-do you know who I am?! Do you know who backs me?! I am Virginia Gale, property manager for this entire block, entrepreneur of the Elegant Lady Clothing shop, the Nuance Cafe and the Burley Pub! My husband is the renowned traveling merchant Lars Gale! I am someone a commoner like you can not offend!"

Ariana let go of Virginia's wrist and walked over to Bruno. "Please have a bite." Ariana said as she presented the plate. Bruno hesitated as he looked at the little golden mound with a dark brown, flat, top and few raspberries decorating it. "Please as a favour from chef to chef?" Ariana said with a weary smile. "You only won a single competition, how dare you call yourself a chef and pressure my child" Virginia yelled. "Shut up!" Edlyn shouted as she stepped forward. "You don't know anything!"

Xander looked at Edlyn with shock. Edlyn was such a quiet and shy girl but when it came to Ariana she changed into a completely different person. "Edlyn it's okay. I'm okay." Ariana called out. Edlyn looked at Ariana with tears starting to well up. She stomped over towards Ariana until she was right in front of her. "If you don't want to try it, I'll make you try it!" Edlyn shouted as she grabbed half the flan with her bare hand and shoved it into Bruno's mouth.

"Ariana is the entrepreneur who started the Sugar Apple Cafe! She is the chef that comes up with the ideas for every item on their menu and teaches the staff! She was the one who taught the cooking classes! She is the one who wanted people to take home recipes, she also sells some to restaurants, she is the one who looked over every recipe in the Academy cafeteria and improved the meals! She makes time to teach cooking classes in our Academy's cafeteria! How dare you look down at my friend! She is amazing! She is wonderful and kind! Eat what she made and fall in love with her talent!" Edlyn shouted as tears spilled out. "Edlyn..." Ariana whispered as she let go of the plate, letting it fall to the ground and embraced Edlyn from behind.

"Edlyn!" Ariana shouted when she felt Edlyn fight against her embrace. Edlyn stopped moving and turned beat red. She looked up and Bruno who was in complete shock while the crowd looked in utter disbelief. "Let's go back." Ariana said as she burried her face into Edlyn's shoulder. "No they need to apologize!" Edlyn protested. "It's fine. I'm just happy you got so mad for me." Ariana said as she released Edlyn from her embrace. "Are you sure?" Edlyn whispered as she suddenly became shy. "Yes, let go back." Ariana said.

Edlyn nodded her head and held out her hand. Ariana happily accepted her hand and tries to walk off. "Wait!" Bruno shouted. "I'm sorry we spread those rumors about your families cafe!" Bruno yelled at the top of his lungs as he bowed at a 90 degree angle. "The dessert you made was absolutely delicious!" He continued to shout. "Darling!" Virginia yelled in horror. "I want to learn from someone like you. It's always been my dream to have a place where I could sell the food I made and see all their happy faces. Just like how every looked when they are your food. So please let me become your pupil!"

Ariana felt a wave of pride and happiness wash over her. "Well I did promise to look over your recipes." Ariana said as she scratched her cheek. "No darling it's a trick! She's just trying to steal our families recipes!" Virginia yelled. Suddenly the crowd started to boo. "Mother!" Bruno shouted in horror. He didn't want to miss such an amazing opportunity. "It's alright. I can swear as much as you like that I will never steal your families recipes. I'm just happy cafes are opening up." Ariana said happily.

"Lies!" Virginia shrieked. "No! I'm telling the truth!" Ariana said as her whole aura changed.
