My Way To You 146 Wait For Me Part 1

Ariana kept her eyes on Cayden as she chased after him. She couldn't believe that he had stolen her ribbon so many years ago. She had even written to him how awful she felt for losing such an important gift and yet he never wrote back or even sent the ribbon back. She wanted it back and if meant beating Cayden to pulp then she would.

The only problem was he was a lot faster then her but she wasn't going to give up. She picked up her pace, her high heels hit the cobblestone hard as her breathing started to get heavier. 'You won't be able to catch him.' Vasu said as he raced along with Ariana and Rahul. "I won't give up!" Ariana shouted as sweat started to roll down her face. 'Are you willing to do anything to get the ribbon back?' Rahul asked as he watched Ariana. "Yes!" She shouted as loud as she could. 'Do not blame me than!' Rahul said as he dove downwards. "Rahul where are you? Ahhhhhh!" Ariana screamed as Rahul used his body to make her lose her footing. She stepped on his squishy body and he sent her flying into the air.

'Ariana!' Vasu yelled as she started to fall back down face first. She pulled in her arms and crossed them over her chest, hoping to roll as she impacted, minimizing the damage. She closed her eyes tight as she balled herself up, waiting for pain. After a second she didn't feel the hard road scrapping against her skin instead she felt warm and safe. She quickly opened her eyes and saw a very worried Cayden. "Why?!" Cayden shouted as he looked at Rahul then Ariana. "You could have seriously gotten hurt!" He said breathlessly as he looked down at her face.

Ariana blinked a few times as he cradled her in his arms. "Are you making fun of me?" She whispered as she reached up and gently brushed Cayden's medium fringe to the side. "No." Cayden sighed as he tried to catch his breath. "Don't be silly." He continued as he brought her body close and sat down. "You're fast." Ariana mumbled against his chest making his whole body go stiff. "No... I heard you scream and thought the worst.... When I saw you falling, I just... just reacted." He said as he slowly released her.

Ariana slowly moved away from Cayden's chest and brought her gaze up to meet his. "I'm not mad at you anymore." She said quietly. A smile started to spread across Cayden's face. Ariana instantly blushed as she gave Cayden a little more room to sit but Cayden caught her around the waist. He sat with his legs wide open, Ariana trapped in between them and was pulled in closer. Cayden sighed as he removed his hands from her waist. "Cayden... don't hide things from me anymore. Am I really that unreliable? Untrustworthy? Do I need to prove myself to you?" Ariana pleaded as she moved and grabbed Cayden's shirt. "I needed it." He said in a small voice. Ariana felt her heart race. She made progress with Cayden, he was finally willing to talk and she wasn't going to let him go. "Why did you need it? I mean if you asked me maybe I would have parted with it... if the reason was good enough." Ariana asked as let go of Cayden's shirt.

Cayden gulped as he looked at her beautiful face. Her eyes were sucking away all his rational and making him too impulsive. Then it hit him, he announced that he was breaking off his engagement with Vanessa Brenton. No one would give them a second thought. His chest was feeling light and warm. He quickly grabbed the back of her head and brought her face to his. He kissed her as hard as he could. He wanted to satisfy his needs, his hunger but the best he could have was her lips.

Ariana could feel blood rushing to her head. Her world was spinning as Cayden kissed her over and over again. A chill ran down her spine when Cayden's tongue licked her bottom lip. She automatically parted her lips and he moaned as he inserted his tongue into her mouth. She was overwhelmed with the passion as they tasted one another continuously. She didn't know how long she would last, she wanted to continue but her heart could only take so much. It roared against her chest as her breathing became erratic.

Cayden pulled away as she moaned in pleasure and disappointment. "I can only last so long." Cayden said with a deep chuckle. Ariana could feel that her cheeks burn with embarrassment as she slowly opened her eyes. Though Cayden laughed she caught him blushing alongside with her. She couldn't stop her self from smiling. "I can still feel your lips on mine."

Cayden groaned as he moved in to kiss her again. "You can't be so cute in front of anyone else!" He growled after he released her mouth. "I..." Ariana started to say when Cayden pulled her into an embrace. "I don't want to share you." He said with a sigh. Ariana was shocked, she felt uncontrollably happy that he felt the way he did. "I promise." She sighed as she hugged him back. "Sigh... I took your ribbon because I wanted to keep a part of you only to myself... I hated that I was told we couldn't be together. I swore I wouldn't... have feelings for you but I couldn't stop myself." He said as he burried his face into her hair.

"Cayden." Ariana whispered. Cayden tightened his embrace and started to sniff her hair as he wrapped a lock around his finger. "Listen, I will get that engagement cancelled. I will leave tonight to go to the Remo Estate then talk to the Brentons. I will do anything to become free... I might not be able to come back right away. I know it's not fair to you, you'll have to face everyone on your own... I will have the guys keep watch over you so that your safe. So please wait for me." Cayden said making Ariana's heart swell.
