Jomei suddenly gone pale as he looked at Aayushi's face. "What did you just say?" He whispered but Aayushi covered her mouth with her own hand. Shaking from fear as more tears spilled from her eyes. "What did you just say?" Jomei said as an image of a sixteen year old girl, with soft brown hair, a tiny cluster of freckles, golden eyes and a sweet smile appeared in his mind. Aayushi shook her head no vigorously. Jomei got off the bed and walked up to Aayushi. He grabbed her wrist and gently pulled her mouth away from her mouth. "What did you say?" He enunciated every words slowly.

"No there was no way... she was already to give birth.. she was fine... I mean... she was alive when I last saw her." Jomei said as his grip started to tighten around Aayushi's wrist.

"My mother got rid of Sheena that day! Father has been furious that mother has not be able to give him an heir." She said as she took deep breathes in between her words. "Why would he need an heir? I am able and willing to take the throne whenever he wants." Jomei said as he released her wrist and walked back to the bed. He sat down and stared at Aayushi who in turn was massaging her wrist. "The problem is you are not the current Queen's son! My mother is cruel! You have no idea how much pressure my mother is under because of this! Every night, after father does his obliged duties, she cries alone in her room while she carefully plots her plans." Aayushi yelled but Jomei just stared at her completely poker face.

Aayushi let out a deep sigh before she started to get herself dressed. "Father doesn't believe that it is his fault that he has not been able to properly seed my mother... so he took it upon himself to try and fertilize whomever he could and poor Sheena was one of his many lovers." She said as she finger brushed her hair. Jomei's mouth had gone dry, he could feel sweat rolling down his back and pain from clenching his hands so tightly. "What is your mother planning?" Jomei was finally able to ask after taking a deep calming breath.

"I don't know... most likely an assassination once she is able to conceive. Or maybe murder both husband and his first born... poison, hunting accident, left out in the middle of nowhere with both your legs broken.... who knows but all I can really say is that whatever needs to done will be done in order to keep my child safe." Aayushi said as she gave Jomei a pitiful smile. While Jomei started to slip into his own thoughts. She then made her way towards the door. "So Sheena... is she really dead? How do you know? She could have actually survived whatever your mom did." He finally asked as Aayushi placed a hand on top of the door handle. "I was there when my mother buried her."

Jomei's body went numb as if a bolt of lightning struck his heart. "Then what of her child? What of my, our younger sibling?" Jomei asked as he instantly regretted asking the question. A horrible wave of panic washed over him. "Organs were harvested and sold on the black market while the best part of the child was fed to my mother to preserve her youth." Aayushi answered nonchalantly, all life, happiness and emotion left her eyes and Jomei had to keep the stomach bile that was threatening to escape down. He swallowed back saliva but felt something lodge itself in his throat as he did. Keeping his next words locked away in his mind. "My child will be kept safe." Jomei walked in to the dinning area and felt a horrible rush of fear wash over him when he saw his family sitting together, waiting for his arrival. "Jomei... is Aayushi not doing a proper job? You are late to breakfast this morning and honestly we can't wait for you any more." Kalmin said as he picked up his cup of coffee. Jomei kept silent and dropped his gaze to the floor. "I have had enough of your insolence!" Kalmin shouted as he flung his cup of coffee towards Jomei's face. He didn't dodge and allowed the cup to shatter against his forehead. The impact sliced the top of his right brow and blood slowly started to trickle downwards.

He heard some gasps and some chair movement but he didn't care. He focused all his energy towards one person in the room and waited to see what he would be doing next. "Honestly this good for nothing has no use in this castle anymore. Once the child is born I will pass the throne to them regardless of their gender." He said coolly as his heavy footsteps slowly approached Jomei.

Jomei held his breath, he could feel the rhythm of his heart pounding against his chest. "Choose leave or stay... I don't care anymore." Kalmin said as he walked past. Jomei didn't mutter a single sound and refused to lift his head until he was 100 percent sure that he was safe. He looked up and saw that not only had his father left, Miranda and Aayushi had disappeared. Jomei looked slightly to the right and felt his eyes starting to sting. A faint image of a pregnant Sheena begging and crying to leave was burned into his memory.

He tried to leave the room but a sharp pain in his chest stopped him from taking one step forward. He looked at the spot again and the area became fuzzy. "What have I done?" He whispered to himself as he placed his hand over his mouth, stopping himself from scream out his agony and pain. Tears rolled out and over his hand as he started to hyperventilate. Sheena was gone. While his younger sibling was brutally murdered for the Queen's vitality.
