"So, this country is warmer…" he thought.

"Master Levi?" Pete calls out him. He comes ahead to investigate about a few things.

"Any reports, Pete?" he asked his butler for 21 years now, since he was born.

"They haven't found yet the Miss, Master…"

His butler opens the Limousine door and he steps inside.

He clenches his fists. Cassie did not contact him anymore. What's happened to her? He's very worried now.

She supposed to meet him at the airport but his watch reported they didn't see her around in the city.

Did something happen to her? How if she caught by the typhoon? They only have three days.

"Master Levi, I change your hotel to The Peninsula. The press knows you will arrive at the Empire Dragon Hotel this evening, besides, it is near to the Conference."

"Okay. That's good to hear." Levi look outside the window. 'Where are you, Cassie?'

"Master…"

He began to feel irritates towards his butler, he'd been interrupting his thoughts. "What's up, Pete?"

"Are you really sure about this?"

"About what?"

"You know that your family wanted you to be engaged to someone else."

"Then?"

"Master, what you wanted is impossible to happen."

"What?"

"Your family won't allow it if they found out," Pete stated

"It's the year 2020, Pete, I don't care about it. They can't force me to marry the one I don't love just for the name and power."

"It is not what I am more concerned about, Master. I am worrying not as your butler, but someone who cares for you."

"Just make it to the point, Pete." He's totally irritated now.

"I just don't want you to end up like the Williams, De La Rue, Bastien, and Montfort fates."

"What? Are you being superstitious now? And what's with those family, including mine?"

"Haven't you heard about your uncle? It may sound like just a tale, but there are many events that their fate entangled and end up into tragedy."

"Do you really believe that?" he asked his butler. He is now curious to know.

"Even if I don't believe it, but the reality screaming out loud." Pete's meaningful words.

"Who are you talking about?" his butler is such a riddle. Levi sighed.

Pete stares at his master's confused expression.

"Alright, since you are inheriting the Montfort title as the head of the House next, maybe it is the time you will know."

"Your uncle Edward is engaged to Lily De La Rue when they were younger. But I heard, Lily wanted to cut off the engagement, then she went to the United States for a 2 years study. Said, she meets Henry and falls in love with her Senior at that university. The family learns about it, and she was forced to go home, then forced to marry your uncle. Not knowing, she was pregnant. After she gives birth to a son, they told her the child was dead."

"But… the child was sent away and give to his father. They told him, Lily died while giving birth to him. But after a few years, both learned the truth. Lily left your uncle Edward and Henry went to Paris to meet Lily bringing their son. But ended up, only the son alive because your uncle chases them. However, this is not the first time happens. Henry's grandparents have the same tragic. The Williams sent his grandmother away because she is a commoner."

"Where is this child now?" he asked his butler, too curious about the story.

"He was now seated on top of the world."

"What?"

"Shun Williams Crow. The next CEO of Crow Corporation and the next line as the De La Rue and Williams head of the House."

Levi stayed silent. "Why are you saying this all? Is this concerning with me?"

"I don't know. I have no news about President Crow having an affair with any woman. You both a member in the Aristocrats Family, your fate will cross anytime and anywhere. But one thing is, these lives all entangled and already have shared the same fate many times if we basis President Crow's parent's tragic end."

"Are you scaring me, Pete?"

"No. Just watched it, might the tragic love story repeats. Miss Cassie is a commoner, your family won't accept her."

"Whatever… like it will happen. What I wanted to hear now is to find Cassie. That's all."

"By the way, tell me, Pete. Have you changed my hotel because you want me to avoid meeting him? Because of uncle Edward?"

"Let me say, maybe that's the reason. Lord Edward Montfort who killed his parents, we can't avoid him having a grudge with the Montfort family."

"But it's my uncle, I have no business with him. There's no way we one day chases and kill each other, right?"

Pete stayed quiet for a long moment. "Yes, Master Levi... there is no reason for Williams and Montfort to repeat what happens. Seems the fate has changed, except if you insisted for Miss Cassie to introduce to your family, might another tragic repeat once again."

They now arrive at the hotel and Levi quickly marched to the entrance.

"Shun, Blaire reported, Master Levi Montfort has now arrived in the country."

"Okay. Watch his moves closely."

"Understood," Meisha answered.

Shun places his elbow on his knees and rested his chin on his fist. His directors feel the raging emotion from him.

Cassandra has been exchanging emails with him, and they planned to fly to New York, the reason Levi came to the country, and Cassandra left the island.

"Rudolf, I want you to tap Cassandra's phone and monitor her outgoing and incoming calls. Connects her email accounts as well."

"Shun..." Rudolf inhales. "Isn't this is too much? We put her a lot of Security already."

"What?"

Rudolf sighed tried to bear his sharp gazes towards him. His boss looks like he wanted to kill someone right now.

"You are doing to Cassandra what your mother's been through."

Shun's gazes become darker. "What are you pertaining to?"

"Am just reminding you something... You were slowly taking Cassie's freedom, you chaining her up, and almost imprison her completely. You were leading her the life your mother suffered before."

"Are you really concerned about Cassandra or something else? Just tell me if you can't do it."

"Shun..." he meets his raging gazed.

Meisha and Kier just listening to them, they both knew that Shun and Rudolf have gone through more than, before the five of them become friends.

"Tell me, do you like Cassandra?" Shun asked out of the blue with a very serious expression.

"Damn it, Shun!" Rudolf angrily gets up from the sofa and grab his boss' collar. "I will do this for Cassie's protection! For sake! In all of the people, I am the one who knew everything you've been through that's why I give solely to concede you whatever you are doing! But suspecting me like this? Damn it! And I am not looking at Cassie that way!" he let go of him.

Meisha and Kier stood from their seat, stunned for what happens. Rudolf turns his back away and put his hands' on his waist. He is heaving furious sighs.

"The two of you should settle this instantly," Meisha ordered. He is the oldest one of them all and decided to act.

"We're not teenagers anymore to have meaningless arguments and doubts," he added. "Don't let Blaire find out and Daichi, even you will hide it from him, he'll notice the tension between you both."

No one tried to speak but only furious sighs from both of them.

"I'll go check the monitor," Rudolf said. "Looks like, the only place that you forget to install a camera is Cassie's bedroom."

After saying this, he left the office.

"Rudolf!" Meisha tried to hold him from leaving.
