Her eyes spark from gazing at every corner of the room. She admires the grandeur of the office and made of gold- and silver-plated illustration on the shelves that kept a thousand books. Wealthy people could build something like this, she thought.

The library is divided into three levels, and she perceived that the third level is the most appealing to spend all day and even at night reading these books.

"Cassandra, come here." he patted the space next to him.

She doesn't understand why it excites her heart upon hearing him lovingly called out her; It throbs like there is familiarity with the way he would pronounce her name. Maybe his French accent that turned sweeter on the ears and it tickles her heart. However, she does not understand why her heart acts like this...

Well, never mind. She is too young to think about this stuff. She shook her head then walks closer to the couch and slowly sits beside her master.

"All right, let us begin?" Quinn stated. Accidentally he brushes her arm with the back of his palm while he browsed his tab to choose a good learning site about basic French words. Feeling his warm fingers, he notices how she jolted when their skin got in contact. "I'm sorry."

Smiled shyly, Cassie shook her head and blushed. Quinn then began teaching her the basics and easy French words. Thus, pronunciation and how to speak each word that it won't sound stressed. Impressed by, she learns them quickly.

Although the real Cassandra speaks them fluently already, it was fun for him. It was like he is witnessing how Cassandra learning things from the beginning, and it tempted him to kiss her as a reward for being a good student.

Cassandra keeps repeating the new French words she learned today. She froze when she felt his master's fingers brushing off the strands of hair that fell on the side of her cheeks.

"Um, I'm sorry. I was just thinking you can read better if your hair tucked in like this—" he can't admit that he just wanted a clear view of her face.

They heard a knock and a beautiful woman entered the library. Her presence enchanted to Cassie.

"Hello, guys," Blaire greeted while she made a graceful stride toward them.

Cassie quickly stood from the couch and bowed to her. "Hello, ma'am."

"Hi!" She stretched her hand to Cassie. "Its Blaire, how are you?"

"I am fine, ma'am." she accepts her hand and responded to Blaire.

Blaire smirked. "Ah, cut the ma'am, would you? Just call me Blaire."

"Okay, um... but, I am not used to calling older than me by their name alone."

Blaire smirked and threw a teasing glance toward her brother. "All right, how about sister Blaire? You won't reject my request, would you?"

"Sister Blaire is better." Shyly, she agreed.

"Ah, you were too cute!" She hugs Cassie then wink at her brother. Now she began wondering how this brother of hers can resist Cassie's cuteness; being cannot recognize everyone. She's impressed by how he stays calm the whole time, or he just hides them but hardly can behave?

Silly smile planted on her lips and Quinn raise an eyebrow likely warning her. Blaire giggles.

"Anyway, Meisha and I will go back to Mainland City tomorrow. So, we want everyone to invite for a dinner out tonight," Blaire announced then look at Cassie.

It confused her, but no words came up to comment on something.

"Yes, I want you to join us." Blaire read her thoughts.

"But I don't have clothes."

"Don't worry about it, you, I mean err, Marivella has a lot of clothes in her wardrobe."

"Marivella?"

"Yes. Is any problem?"

"Oh. I am just thinking, we have the same name," she answered Blaire.

"Ah… right." Blaire glances at Quinn, apologizing for her mouth, blabbing non-stop. But Quinn just nodded and smiled at her.

"Okay, guys! See you guys at six in the evening. I'll go now and have the last-minute shopping!"

"Okay, sister Blaire. Thank you for the invitation."

"Of course, you are very welcome... See you later, Cassie." Blaire hugs her before leaving the room.

Confused, but she is happy that her master's sister is super nice. It seems, runs on their blood. Now she is curious if her Master's wife is also nice and if they already had children since Blaire is pregnant as she could notice her baby bump.

She wanted to know, but she has no right to ask her master with random stuff out of the blue.

"Is there something you want to ask?" Quinn was curious about the way it troubles her face.

Surprise, she's astounded how her Master guess what is on her mind. She bit her lower lip and averts her gaze contemplating if she must voice out her thoughts. She chooses not to, but head down and playing her fingers as she feels anxious.

She's doing it again. Quinn's observations. Biting her lower lip then displayed her cuteness. It tempted him to kiss her and hold her. He's not sure how long he could suppress himself and contented just staring at her which his desires are uncontrollable. He clears his throat to distract himself.

"Do you like to read something?" he asked afterward.

"Oh, can I?"

"Sure!"

She looks up at the third level of this library and then glances at him like she is asking his permission. He understood, so he smiled and nodded at her. Happily, she runs the stairs.

"Cassandra, be careful!" He reminded her.

She turned around and then nodded, but Cassie still rushing her steps. Worried, Quinn follows her. She looks very excited about checking out the books. He can't help but amused at her enthusiasm.

But while Quinn checking out the shelves, he noticed the red and purple book on the table. He does wonder why these books are openly laying just around.
