My Stubborn Mistress 163 Transparency of Their Relationship

The sun was shining brightly this morning. One by one, the men find their way back to the open living room and having a black coffee.

"Argh, my head. . ." Kier complains holding his head then he felt an ice pack landed.

"There, treats yourself." After Jean put the icepack on her husband's head, she goes back inside the house.

"Jean, wait! Ah. . . can I have some coffee, please?" He begs his wife but he was just ignored. "Argh. . . I won't drink again!"

Kier lay on the round sofa pressing the ice pack on his head. "I won't drink that much again, because it made me dream that ugly experience I ever had."

"Ugly experience?" Meisha asked and place a black coffee for him on the table.

"Yeah. I dreamed it last night when we got detained inside the police station."

"Oh. . ." they all look at Derek's direction who is busy talking over his phone. Kendra was calling on him, the little girl was crying because she was left in France.

"Wow. I dreamed about it too last night," Rudolf stated.

"What did you all discussing?" Daichi joins them and he brought more coffee.

"Ah, we dreamed that time in Paris when we're detained." Kier who answered.

Daichi's eyes sparks from hearing this, of course, it is the night he meets Riley.

"Wait, I do have a dream about it last night too! Do we all have the same dreams?"

Rudolf and Kier glance at each other, maybe. . .

Kier sat up and took a sip from the mug. His face was all bitter. "You do show kindness to make me a coffee, but this bitter?"

"What? Why complains at me? Jean who made that coffee for you."

"Oh. . . no wonder it's the best!" Kier said.

Lucas and James giggles. Karl and David look at each other and shook their heads. Matt staring at him astounded. So this is the effect of being tied down and obedient to his wife. Matt grins.

"You, what you were grinning about?" He sneers at Matt. "Laugh all you want! When you get married, I'll be the first one to laugh at you when you can't say no to your wife."

The other men laugh because they could relate to. Later on, Ben now also awake and joins them outside.

"Hey everyone, good morning. Argh, my body is in pain." Ben sit next to Lucas, he keeps groaning in pain. "I could feel a lump on my head. Did I fell on the couch? Or bumped into something? I really don't remember anything about last night."

Lucas, James, and Karl turn their back and looks away, pretending to concentrates on sipping a coffee. They were guilty though of what they did last night. . . they put Ben in different sleeping position then carried him to his bedroom and put on the bed then accidentally they hit his head on a door panel or in the wall. He is also kind of heavy.

"I have the evidence!" Mark suddenly appeared behind Doctor Ben and showed a tablet.

Ben eyes grow wider. "Lucas!"

Lucas has been already stood up from his side and run. "I just followed what boss James told me!" He shouted.

"James! How dare you! Ah, my head. . . wait, Lucas! Give me the copies! Don't you dare to post it online and show to my patients and students!"

Levi dropped his mouth watching the adults. Is this what hangover looks like? The adults acting like kids.

"Levi, come on, have some coffee!" Mark calls on him.

"Thank you," Levi joins them and amusingly watch the older men. "Hmm. . . they still not here?" He asked.

"Who?"

"Brother Quinn and Cassie."

"Oh, they must be still on the bed."

He felt the smack on his back. Levi chuckled. "Okay."

"What's the noise about?" Quinn asked.

"Oh, did Cassie awaken from the nosy adults?" Levi joke.

"Yeah. . . it's up there on our balcony. The noises are echoing loudly."

"Is everything okay?" Cassie asked and handed Quinn a mug of coffee.

"Good morning, Cassie. . . don't mind the adults who acted little kids."

"Morning Levi! Ah, yes. . ." Cassie giggles.

"Missy!" Daichi waving from the pool diving board before he jumped and flip in the air.

She was amazed. She looks below in the pool and watches Ben and Lucas chasing like kids. Cassie looks at others with a confusing eye.

"Ah, don't mind them, Cassie," Meisha told her. "They made fun with Ben last night." Meisha handed her the Tab and she watches the video together with Quinn and Levi.

Cassie can't stop laughing with these adults craziness.

"Oh, my goodness! Why I missed the fun! Next time, I won't let myself get drunk to join the fun!" Levi burst out laughing.

Shun just shook his head. "Shut up. Just a few glasses and you start dizzying."

"Tsk. . . so proud of himself." Levi murmurs.

"Just don't forget who babysit you last night!"

"I won't thank you."

"I expect nothing."

Cassie looks up at the two men beside her, amazed at how these two argue like little kids as well. The two men realized and stared at her expression.

"Ah, I'll go check on the girls in the kitchen," she told the men and stood on her feet. "I'll make some hangover soup."

"That's great, Cassie! I'll look forward to it!" Levi gives her a thumbs up. He meets Quinn's glaring gazes and smirks.

"So, you and Cassie did have a heart to heart talk and reconcile?" Levi asked Quinn after Cassie left.

"No. Not yet. . ."

"What?" Levi was confused. He wants Quinn to explain. "How come you still did not talk to her about why you have to lie to her?"

"She still losing important memories. She doesn't remember our talks and promises before the accident."

"Then, she still doesn't know about your illness?"

"Kind of, she still doesn't remember that she already knows about my illness and promise me she'll take care of me."

Levi was confused in Quinn's statement. "What do you mean by that?"

Quinn sighed. "Papa, and Mama, they contacted me that they already told her the truth of why I was gone for so long. They explained to her about my illness after I left them at Saint Claire town, so, Cassandra already knew about my illness."

"And Cassie just need to remember. . . her lost memories, she has to restore them all," Levi concluded.

"Yes. . ."

"Okay. How were her symptoms? She stops taking her meds right?"

"Yes." Quinn took a long sip on his mug. "It made her suffer a lot but on these passing couple of days, her nauseating stops. Am praying it won't bother her anymore, it made her pregnancy too sensitive."

"If that is so, then hope Cassie will completely heal and her memories will come back."

Quinn stared at Levi. . . seems like, he could open up more to this brat than the rest of his friends. Maybe could possibly be the reason, is that they were truly very good friends in their past life.

They said a soulmate is not only about your lover or true love. It is also about your friends and family. Like Daichi, he could be the soul of Gen Isagawa and in this lifetime, they meet again. And the rest, they must be also his soulmates, they were his good friends since in their past life.

"What were you thinking about now?" Levi asked him when he just keeps the silence.

"Nothing. And why you are staring at me like that?"

"Nothing. . ." Levi replied. "Am just thinking, you and Cassie. . . even if there's a huge misunderstanding between you two, but until now you both still together. Is that the works of true love? Even one hated the other so much, but can't actually make the closure or break up then left. . . instead, could set aside this misunderstanding thing."

"Am just amazed. . ." Levi added. "Is this what they call, listen to your heart?"

"Well, never mind. There's only one thing it needed, you will talk to Cassie and tell her everything, or waiting to restore her memories. But the thing is, how if you will have more misunderstanding?"

Quinn's eyebrow twitches upward, "and why you were more thinks of the negativity instead?"

Levi laughs. "Alright, I'll shut up now."

"You better!"

But in Quinn's mind, he was truly grateful that Cassandra still staying by his side, and letting him to takes care of her and allowing him to show how much he loves her. However, he was curious about what was on her mind. He wishes to know them and that Cassandra would share them with him.

He knew that they should have transparency in their relationship. A good talk is needed.

Finally, breakfast is ready and the girls brought out the food. Quinn's mansion actually has two kitchens. The main kitchen and the kitchen for outdoor gatherings like today. When the food place on the long table, the men quickly step out of the pool and the jacuzzi then stormed the food.

They wish for a gathering like this often. Hopefully, their boss will throw an Exclusive Holiday every weekend! This is relaxing and stress-free.
