His gaze shifted to Zhu Xiong and Gan Xinglei, but ultimately settled on Bai Qilan's face as he inquired softly.

“It's more proactive than the mere sustenance from the Book of Blood Spirit; one can continuously train and absorb the surrounding Spiritual Energy.”

Zhu Xiong paused slightly and said, “My senses have become sharper.”

“Old Zhu is right.”

Bai Qilan took over the conversation and said, “The enhancement of talents will directly reflect in the absorption and control of Spiritual Energy. If one's strength has increased, the physical strength of a human might not necessarily be weaker than that of a monster. Moreover, compared to the Book of Blood Spirit, there's another advantage– resisting backlash.”
