My Idle Gaming System Chapter 85

As an enemy that could wipe all of them out rose in silence, the forces that stood atop the three Continents of the Ethereal Realm were preparing as they were about to move in full to achieve their goals!

To understand the alliances and reasoning of the powerful beings atop the Continents, we must discuss the powerhouses within the Ethereal Realm, and why you had multiple factions across the Realm!

Tens of years ago, the most powerful experts were all in the Diamond Rank, with their being regional powers across the Ethereal Realm created by DIAMOND experts that worked together to clear the only Diamond Rift within the Realm.

This all changed when during a Rift run, the being that would go on to be the Ethereal Emperor obtained a unique Loot Drop that rarely dropped while he was diving with a Team of Diamond Ranked Blessed!

The rare Loot Drop was the item that caused the Ethereal Emperor to be elevated in strength above the rest, his power being elevated to PLATINUM Rank with it as with this event, many changes began to occur.

Among the Diamond Blessed that were within that Rift that day, the one that was currently known as the Dark King was among them, and the Ruler of the Wild Continent that was known as Alexander was also within this team!

They were able to see first hand the changes brought when the being their knew rose to PLATINUM, friction beginning to bud from this point as the Ethereal Emperor used his power and authority to close off the only Diamond Ranked Rift to beings he didn't trust, the Dark King and Alexander being among them as multiple DIAMOND Experts made the list.

If any of them were to try resisting, they would be standing against the only PLATINUM Ranked expert in their Realm, with their deaths only following close by!

It was then that the Ethereal Emperor proclaimed the Light Continent to be his domain, his will spreading throughout the Ethereal Realm as he enthroned himself an Emperor and created a Royal Household.

The Dark King who currently ruled the Dark Continent and Alexander who oversaw the Wild Continent banded with the other DIAMOND Ranked experts that were not trusted by the Ethereal Emperor, forming the nations they had today!

For years, the situation continued this way as the Dark and Wild Continent were isolated with access only to Gold Rifts, while the Ethereal Emperor and the Protectors he trusted remained in the Light Continent diving into the only DIAMOND Rift while trying to obtain the Unique Loot that granted the Ethereal Emperor his Rank of PLATINUM once more.

Yet...the situation never repeated itself.

Never in the years that passed did they come across the Rare Spawn creature within this Diamond Rift that could drop the unique Loot, and the miracle that the Ethereal Emperor experienced could not be recreated!

This is because the chance for the rare spawn to appear within the Rift were extremely low, and the Rift was so hard that it took days to clear- which didn't increase their chances in any way while they fought the terribly powerful Dimensional Beasts within.

This was when the decision that would cause the huge changes within the Ethereal Realm occurred.

It was when the Ethereal Emperor became disillusioned with the only Diamond Rift that never repeated a miracle, and he looked past his Ethereal Realm and into the stars for other chances and opportunities!

He chose...to leave and explore the starry space for more Dimensional Rifts that would provide new opportunities, not wanting to be stuck in this Realm until his death!

As a being at the PLATINUM Rank, he could seamlessly leave a world or Realm and go into outer space, traversing across the myriad of stellar bodies to look for something grander.

And so the Ethereal Emperor did! Leaving behind those he considered his friends to oversee and protect his Royal Family, he set off for the stars to walk on a brighter path!

Yet...the path he walked on would not be so bright and easy as something occurred during his exploration.

Not even a few years had passed before the Communication Medallion that the Ethereal Emperor left behind rang out with distraught words, something that only the Crown Prince and other DIAMOND Experts within the Light Continent got the chance to experience occurring as the powerful Ethereal Emperor that had dominated an entire Realm...shockingly faced his death in the starry space he went to explore!

Such shocking news was kept under wraps for more years, but it brings us to the current point where the DIAMOND experts of the Dark and Wild Continents knew of the death of the expert they feared, and that no PLATINUM deterrent existed in the Light Continent!

Yet...the passing of time with those in the Light Continent clearing the Diamond Rank Rift meant that more Diamond Blessed were born on their side, where their numbers were nearly twice as many if not more compared to the other 2 factions.

This was why the Dark and Wild Continent joined power...their most powerful experts seeking to take the Rifts of the Light Continent- but most of all to regain access to the Diamond Rift that was closed off to them!

This was why Warlord Steel that Noah had killed and the Impartial Protector that he fought knew each other, Steel calling the other merely a thief. The ais of the Diamond Blessed allied together against the Light Continent all wished to dive into the Rift that would elevate their strength once more, not being able to handle the fact that they were effectively given a death sentence as if they could not increase their Ranks, they would eventually be ravaged by time and simply die in silence.

So they moved with haste!

The forces of the Light Continent were also moving with haste as they tried to recreate the miracle the Ethereal Emperor had experienced to no avail.

Both sides were moving with the issue of time on the line, and this was why the Dark King had begun bringing together his Legions as he called upon all the DIAMOND experts who joined him years ago to take back their right to enter the Diamond Rift and seek ever greater power!

RUMBLE!

The skies on the innermost portion of the Dark Continent were cloudy, darkness covering the hundreds of thousands of Blessed that had begun moving out from this day.

Their faces were grim as they were Battalions of tens of thousands of Bronze Experts, thousands of Silver, and all of them were led by Golden Commanders as these multiple Battalions came together to create a Legion- a Legion that was led by a DIAMOND Expert!

Across the Dark Continent, 7 enormous terrifying Legions were moving and converging towards each other as it represented a force of 7 DIAMOND Blessed. This wasn't accounting for the Dark King himself who was currently in the skies above staring at everything below, his figure standing above an enormous black Crow that spanned tens of meters in size.

This was the grand scene that could be seen in the Dark Continent, with something similar happening in the Wild Continent as the Diamond Ruler, Alexander, oversaw the formation of 5 Legions!

With him included, there were only 5 other DIAMOND experts as they still could not come in contact with Warlord Steel- none of their forces knowing that he had fallen silently in a City that should have been a safe location.

The Legions moved as they would converge to meet the forces of the Dark Continent, where only a few days would pass before this alliance would enter the land of the Light Continent and fight for their right that was taken away from them!

RUMBLE!

"A few days...huh?"

Noah was twirling a Gold Core in his hands as he utilized [Mind Connection] to gather a great deal of information from the Gold Commanders he controlled.

He found out about the LEgions being formed by both the Dark and Wild Continent as with so many Gold Blessed under his control, he understood their reasoning behind the war somewhat! But that didn't change the fact that it was still the wills of a few powerful beings standing at the very top trying to get what they want!

"You could have simply banded together with all Diamond experts and laid out your attack on the other Diamond Blessed of the Light Continent. Fight it out with each other and decide the victor who gets to dive into the Diamond Rift...why involve small Cities and take over the resources of small Rifts as well?"

He understood why they did what they did, but he didn't accept the way they carried it out! Through the means they chose, multiple Cities within the Light Continent were overtaken as many innocent beings that had nothing to do with the actions of the Ethereal Emperor and the Imperial Capital were killed, and this was why Noah would target these powerful DIAMOND experts of the Dark and Wild Continents first before he made his way into the Imperial Capital!

His eyes released majestic tendrils of light as he thought of such a scene, with himself standing atop a DIAMOND Rift Boss with many more fighting beside him as he faced their powerful DIAMOND Commanders…
