The shocking results of the battle at the Wandering Plains spread out as many got to see the power that the Light Continent kept under their banner- the power of the Impartial Protector that could obliterate all challenges!

The armies of the Dark and Wild Continent were forced to pull back, coming towards the region of the 10 subjugated Cities as they sought to reorganize and recuperate.

The Impartial Protector had also spent a great deal of his battle power to completely overwhelm Warlord Steel, this powerful being not choosing to take the risk of having a battle to the dead while he went towards the enemy territory, staying behind with the battalions of the Light Continent to celebrate their victory!

With the might of the Light Continent on display, a depressive cloud hung over the forces of the Dark and Wild Continents as thousands of injured Blessed filled into the subjugated cities!

The powerful Warlord Steel that had been on the losing side of the battle against Protector Chen was among those that retreated into a City...this being not knowing anything about the change in leadership of the Cities that had occurred practically overnight.

"Overseeing 10 Cities that are half-filled with Blessed from other Continents…"

In Academy City, Annalise and Rose were discussing Noah's shocking feats in the past 2 days as they looked towards the Gold Blessed in front of them he was utilizing through Remote Blessed.

Rose's eyes were sharp as she voiced out. "You can't control the Silver Blessed like the ones within this city?"

Her words caused Annalise's eyes to shine as Noah spoke from the mouth of the subjugated Blessed.

"That numbers would be in the thousands of Silver Blessed to Subjugate. I'm not currently strong enough for that yet...maybe if I reach DIAMOND Rank in the coming week or two."

He spoke of something balance shattering as stepping into the Diamond Rank in a week or two, the two girls looking towards him with agape expressions as he continued!

"With the control of those at the top, we might just be able to reform those below…"

Her words caused Rose to think back to the forces of the Imperial Capital as she came out of her shock and spoke out slowly.

"From my experience, they are fighting for food and power. If we can give them this...we can easily control them!"

She thought of the overabundance of loot that Noah had displayed for them before, looking to fully tighten the influence over the subjugated cities this way!

"Possibly- oh?"

Noah had been speaking when he came to a stop, the expression of the Blessed he controlled changing as a devilish smile appeared on his face.

"It seems the retreating armies have reached and settled into my cities, and with an injured DIAMOND Blessed in tow…"

A terrifying smile settled onto Noah's face as he seemed to be deep in thought, the two girls staring at each other with concerned eyes as Annalise was the one to speak!

"Brother, you're not thinking of attacking the DIAMOND Warlord right? Even while injured…"

The little sister was concerned for her brother at even the thought of facing one of the beings on the current peak stage of this Realm! Yet Noah merely looked towards her while speaking with an expression of conviction.

"He is injured from the battle with that Impartial Protector, and my power...is much different than what it was just two days ago!"

These words were backed with strength and confidence as at this moment, Noah had a full team of GOLD Rift Bosses on top of multiple Gold Blessed under him!

If he utilized all of these forces correctly...he truly believed an injured DIAMOND Rank expert might actually fall in his hands.

To make such a thing into a reality, he moved rapidly as he told the girls not to worry. The first thing he did...was to send commands to all the GOLD Blessed he had subjugated from the 10 Cities aside from the single one that he left behind in Academy City to protect his sister and Rose, the number of this GOLD Blessed coming out to 23!

Some of the cities had 3 Gold Blessed overseeing them instead of two, and Noah could now utilize a force of 23 Gold Blessed.

The retreating armies of the Dark and Wild Continent had come towards Cities 3, 4, and 5- these cities being closer to each other as they were only a few tens of miles away from the Wandering Plains. Here, the armies planned to recuperate and resupply, while the injured DIAMOND expert descended onto City 4 to tend to his injuries while waiting for orders on how to move after their devastating defeat!

Noah knew this as when the forces of the Dark and Wild began to retreat, he made sure that the subjugated Blessed that should have been overseeing Cities 3 through 5 returned to their original locations to handle the incoming forces.

Because of this, he knew exactly where the tired golden commanders that led the battalions were in each of the cities, as well as the mansion that Warlord Steel- the DIAMOND Ranked Blessed, was recuperating in!

To entertain his idea of sneak attacking this expert and actually come out successful, Noah began with the tired Golden Commanders that were spread out across Cities 3,4, and 5, choosing to increase the number of Blessed he controlled if it was even for a little as he increased the number of powerful experts he could utilize.

He was on a time crunch as he also did not want to give Warlord Steel too much time to recuperate, so after he was able to use his forces to lay out silent attacks and subjugate 8 more Golden Commanders that were worn out from the battle in the Wandering Plains, he began to silently move towards City 4- towards the mansion that Warlord Steel was recuperating in!

He had 31 GOLD Blessed move in a circular ring towards the city, each of them having already been given Mana, Health, Attack, and Defense potions as their bodies pulsed with power.

Meanwhile, Noah himself was in the skies as he planned for a terrifying sneak attack that would involve the instantaneous cast of horrendously powerful abilities from 6 Rift Bosses, this being just the first surprise he would deliver before 31 Gold Blessed moved in to release even more shocking surprises!

In a certain mansion within City 4.

Warlord Steel had cleared out the whole majestic building as he made it his abode to heal from his heavy injuries, the abilities of the Impartial Protector having dealt significant damage to his body that would take days to heal from!

"How did they know?! Just how did they know?!"

RUMBLE!

The area around him shook as his body released powerful waves of power, his milky white mana at the DIAMOND Rank going on to heal his injuries ever so slowly as he questioned how everything went down.

He felt as if his own forces had sent him into a trap as when he was tasked with coming to the Wandering Plains, he was told it would be a smooth mission to win the second major battle for the war that would decide the fate of the Ethereal Realm!

"Alas…"

Steel sighed with melancholy as he felt the state of his body, but in the next second...his senses that he had honed for 10 of years warned him of great danger!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Horrendous and destructive elements of mana thundered towards his position deep in the mansion from the skies, elements of Aether and Light being the most overpowering as they utterly destroyed the structure of the mansion and smashed down onto the figure of the DIAMOND Ranked expert!

These attacks were only the first round as when Warlord Steel rose from the rubble angrily with his body spasming as destructive elements of Aether still attacked him, even more of them thundered down.

"Who-" BOOM!

Like the sky was breaking, like multiple bombs exploding...the peace of City 4 was destroyed as horrendous vibrations and sounds spread throughout!

They were caused from [Scorching Light Rays] of two Conflagrant Pegasi and the [Destructive Rays] of the Aether Half-Dragons, terrifying damage drowning the single figure of the injured DIAMOND expert as he was battered to the ground, the mansion he stood in becoming a mere depression on the ground as only a flicker of milky white could be seen beneath.

The surprise attack that came when Warlord Steel was just recuperating...had unexpectedly injured him a great deal more as his face was grim while being protected by his milky white mana!

In the early hours of the morning after the shocking battle in the Wandering Plains, terrifying attacks thundered down the center of City 4 as a DIAMOND Ranked expert was besieged by unknown enemies, brilliant purple and golden lights raining from the skies as those who would be lucky enough to see the sight would only remember it as something glorious!
