My Idle Gaming System Chapter 74

Inside the Shattered Aether Planes Rifts, Noah faced unique creatures that released an oppressive air even denser than the light element Dimensional Beasts, dense purple mana wrapping around their bodies as they released terribly powerful attacks.

These creatures seemed heavily on the offensive side, Noah coming across Aether Serpents, Wolves, Falcons, and a variety of other Beasts that were tinged with the High Element of Aether! Past the 15th Floor, he even began coming across Aether Drakes that even at their Silver Rank, the attacks they released could rival those of a GOLD Blessed!

OOOH!

But with a team of 4 Rift Bosses, Noah was relentless as he tore through the floors. His two Conflagrant Pegasi were roaring victoriously at this moment as he defeated the multiple Silver Aether Rift Bosses of the 24th Floor where he faced three Aether Serpents and six Aether Drakes.

The difficulty was no joke as without his beefed up party, Noah would not have gotten too far! But he pierced through this Elemental Plane Dimensional Rift faster than even the first one as for the last portion of the day, nearly all of it was used to get to the 24th floor. Noah knew that night was nearing as he would have to soon resume his take over of the remaining 4 Cities, his eyes glancing at the rewards so far as they were truly abundant!

From the 24 floors, he had gained over 150,000 Silver Rank Upgrade Crystals as he crossed even more floors in the past 5 hours than all that he climbed during when the Light Element Plane was active, also getting his hands on a variety of Potions and Hundreds of Silver Rank Aether Unit Shards for him to summon over 15 Aether Element Units!

The immense power of the Aether Beasts made Noah evaluate on whether he should combine Light Element Silver Units for the last 2 spots of his team, or if he should combine the Aether Units to get two brand new stupidly offensive styled units of another High Tier Element.

'Well, why don't we have the next floor make the decision easy?'

Noah's eyes shone with light as he glanced towards the rewards of the 25th Floor of the Shattered Aether Planes Elemental Rifts. Their rewards included 25,000 Silver Upgrade Crystals along with 25 GOLD Rank Shards for a random Aether Unit, Noah choosing to enter and clear this floor as he would very likely face his first GOLD Rank Aether Rift Boss here!

He wanted to see just how powerful and oppressive it was compared to the Gold Rift Bosses he had come across as he...was not let down at all.

ROAAAR!

The 25th Floor of the Shattered Aether Planes Dimensional Rift contained a creature similar to the Aether Drake Noah had come across on the past floors, but it was much larger as its wings spanned out majestically, Noah getting an image of a fantastical creature from this Beast!

[Aether Half-Dragon] :: Defeat the GOLD Rank Half-Dragon to clear the 25th Floor of the Shattered Aether Planes Dimensional Rifts.

The identity of the resplendently purple shining creature was relayed at as it charged towards Noah and his Units without fear, the cries of two Conflagrant Pegasi reverberating out as colorful scorching spears of light went forward to stop its advance while the Equipment Guardian turned into a streak of light that merged with Noah!

WAA!

The newly gained Frost Basilisk spat out [Frozen Breath] as the surroundings became filled with ice, the figure of the Aether Half-Dragon brought to a halt as the Pegasi and Noah rushed towards it to release powerful attacks.

BOOM!

Yet...it was unhindered as its body shone with purple mana, an innumerable number of purple lightning beginning to dance around out as Noah's units were pushed back.

The Pegasi looked towards the Half-Dragon furiously as [Light of Dawn] was actualized from the both of them, a halo of protective light wrapping around them and Noah as they rushed back to engage the powerful enemy!

Noah got his first look at his first creature that had the name 'Dragon' within, fighting a blood pumping battle that only neared its end after 20 minutes, and this was when the energy reserves of the Aether Half-Dragon ran dry as its body was wrecked with injuries from 4 other GOLD Rift Bosses.

The light within the eyes of this Dragon was relentless as even in the face of death, its jaws opened brilliantly to release a ray of purple lighting that nearly tore off the wing of one of the Conflagrant Pegasi, the Frost Basilisk coming from behind to finish the job as [Ice Age] was cast, a glacier erupting out with the Aether Half-Dragon in the center as the terrifying beast was forever encased in ice!

THRUUM!

Noah stared breathlessly at the majestic creature that even in death by ice, its frozen figure was glaring at them with hatred as it still wanted to rip them all apart.

He only confirmed its death when he felt the light of teleportation wrap around him and his Units as they all appeared back in the waiting room!

Many thoughts crossed his mind as he thought about the fearsome power of the Aether Half-Dragon, his mind being made on exactly which units would be joining him as GOLD Rift Bosses after he witnessed the power of the one he just fought.

It seemed that even among High Tier Elements, some were stronger than others or had an edge over a certain are and Noah saw the edge of the Aether Element beasts to be their terrifying Offensive abilities!

"Hooo…"

He let out a breath as he stretched his stiff limbs after moving the entire day, knowing that the day had passed with night soon nearing.

It meant that he would soon have to step out and leave the Tower of Champions and the Shattered Aether Planes Dimensional Rifts to go finish his mission of taking the minds of the remaining GOLD Blessed of Subjugated Cities as well as clear their Dimensional Rifts!

Before he did this, Noah focused on his Idle Gaming System Interface as he made some calculations.

Since dawn came and it was now dusk, over 11 something hours had passed since Noah fully had 63 Dimensional Rifts running on Idle Mode.

He normally liked collecting the rewards after 24 hours, but at this moment after he cleared the 25th floor of the Shattered Aether Planes Dimensional Rifts- he only lacked a little over 25,000 Silver Rank Upgrade Crystals to have on hand the sweet number of 200,000 that would grant him 2 GOLD Units!

For this number, he was willing to break his rule as he opened the Idle Gaming System Interface and focused on the Silver Rifts that were shining brilliantly with a golden light.

The Silver Rift of just Academy City had given him 8,445 Silver Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals in 24 hours with the heavily reduced clear time. What would the 5 other Silver Rifts he added in addition to the one from Academy City grant him in half the time?!

SILVER [+7,450 Idle Exp][+9,293 Silver Rank Cores]...[+155 Silver Rank Molten Beast Shards][+159 Silver Rank Blazing Iguana Shards]...[+26,927 Silver Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals]

The answer was a wondrous amount of Idle Exp, Cores, and above the number of Silver Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals that he needed to have enough materials to fuse 4 Silver Units into 2 Gold ones!

"Good!"

With bright eyes, he focused in the Inventory where the Silver outlines of Units with a purple luster could be seen, his thoughts going out as he selected two [Aether Drakes] to pump with the first portion of the 100,000 Silver Upgrade Crystals to fuse.

RUMBLE!

An explosion of dense purple mana later, and a powerful pressure was summoned in front of him as a creature easily over 15 meters Ross its serpentine eyes to stare towards him!

[Aether Half-Dragon] :: A mutated creature that stemmed from the Bloodline of Drakes. The regal blood of Dragons was too thin for its birth as it could only become a half dragon. But the mere fact it is half a dragon makes it a deadly enemy that one should never turn their backs on. It's abilities include [Lightning Burst], [Aether Cage], [Destructive Ray], and [Aether Rune Mark].

ROAAAR!

The half dragon announced its presence gloriously as the oppressive air it released was more intense than even the Conflagrant Pegasus, Noah's eyes shining intensely as he looked over its powerful skills!

Lightning Burst caused the Half Dragon to explode with Aether as it reached speeds multiple times faster than normal, with Aether Cage laying down tendrils of Aether lightning to lock down enemies on a certain area for a short period of time.

Destructive Ray was the terrible purple ray of Aether shot forth from its jaws that Noah had experienced in the past, while Aether Rune Mark was a unique ability as it actually granted a Rune Mark on those the Aether Half-Dragon considered its allies- those selected having all their attacks be reinforced with the element of Aether as their offensive abilities are increased by another level!

ROAAAR!

The majestic new Unit let itself be known once more as Noah smiled brightly towards it, his eyes looking towards another two Silver Shards that showed two [Aether Drakes].

One was already terrifying, but why not have two?!
