My Idle Gaming System Chapter 5

When Noah watched the Minotaur fall into particles of light and release Cores, he felt a sense of accomplishment for completing his first Dimensional Rift...and it seemed that this accomplishment was also something that was required of him for something wondrous to happen.

[Successfully cleared a Dimensional Rift. The Idle Gaming System is now active.]

THRUM!

Noah felt his mind buzzing as he saw a blue text box appear in the air, disappearing a second later as he noticed the formation of a square icon in the corner of his eyes!

This square icon had the image of a small golden sword, Noah focusing on it as it ballooned into a full screen in front of him.

The screen was titled simply- [Idle Gaming System]!

"I...I have a system!"

He couldn't help but blurt out as the party that just defeated the Boss looked towards him weirdly, Annalise coming towards him and putting her palm on his head to see if something had gone wrong with him.

"Did you catch a fever and become delirious? Brother??"

He had blanked out for a second as he nearly delved into the contents of the screen labeled [Idle Gaming System], coming back to focus as he waved it away for now and focused on his sister.

He smiled bashfully as he apologized and said he just spaced out.

All he got were weird looks as the party stepped on the Blue shining runic magic circle that appeared with the Boss's defeat, all of them being transported out of the Dimensional Rift as they appeared in the outside world once more!

WAA!

Noah's eyes were bright and filled with excitement as he appeared in the encampment that housed the portal leading to the Burning Domains Dimensional Rift.

"We will rest for 3 hours and recuperate our energy before delving in again. Brother, will you continue diving with us?"

Annalise shook Noah out of his stupor again as he looked at her and the party behind her, shaking his head as he needed some time to figure out what just happened.

"You guys go ahead without me. I have something to do!"

A hint of disappointment appeared on Annalise as she thought her slacker of a brother would change after seeing the dangers and blood-pumping adventures of Blessed delving into Dimensional Rifts, but it looked like she was wrong.

She sighed wistfully as she saw her older brother take off his armor and sword, handing them to her as it seemed he couldn't wait to leave the entrance of the Dimensional Rift.

"Thank you for taking me into the Rift, it was more helpful than you could ever imagine!"

His voice rang out in his sister's ears as he literally ran out from the encampment and away from the peering gazes of many, his heart shaking as he couldn't wait to check out exactly what his System was!

Annalise sighed as she watched his retreating figure, turning to her teammates and thanking them for letting her bring her brother along with them.

They gave her light smiles as the party made way to one of the many establishments near the Dimensional Rift that held delicious foods for Blessed, many of those that had just dived in Rifts choosing to recuperate in places like this before they continued their adventures.

Across the bustling streets of Academy City, Noah's figure could be seen flashing across as his face was filled with excitement!

He returned to the Blessed Academy right away as he went back to the place he liked being the most, in the back of the Academy where there was the verdant field of verdant green grasses.

He was breathing heavily as he arrived at this location and lied down in the same place he was in before his sister had come to take him.

His bright eyes honed on the square icon with a sword in the corner of his eyes as the interface was pulled up once more.

Had he truly gotten his transmigrator patch? Was his life about to change? Numerous questions buzzed in his mind as even though he portrayed himself laid back and without care, he was always scared that he would have no strength to protect himself!

In this foreign new world, this foreign new Ethereal Realm- he had knowledge of the powerful Blessed and Dimensional Beasts as he was afraid he would lead a life of mediocrity and die within a few months or years from just pissing off someone strong or being stepped on randomly like a bug.

Have you ever experienced the feeling of mediocrity? Of knowing your entire life would go by unnoticed and without being able to make any significant change in the world you lived in? it was an extremely distasteful feeling!

Noah had always been battling this horrible feeling and fear that was enhanced by the dangers of this Ethereal Realm, but at this moment, he felt like he could possible erase it!

Under the blue banner titled [Idle Gaming System], Noah could see a blank blue box that seemed similar to the screen of a phone, and within the left side of this huge box...he could see a square that held the image of a Minotaur and the name of [Burning Domains Rift-IRON]!

He felt his heart beating quicker as he clicked on this singular square, a bright flash shining out as information entered his mind.

[The Host has successfully cleared the Burning Domains Dimensional Rift, and can access this Rift in Idle Mode starting now.]

[The Idle Mode for the Burning Domains Rift is active, and will take 65 minutes to clear before loot resources can be available for collecting.]

Noah was absolutely incredulous when he continued to receive the bundles of information about his System, a system that seemed so ridiculous that couldn't even fathom the extent of it!

[If the Host clears the Dimensional Rift at a faster speed in the real world, the time needed before collecting loot resources will be adjusted…]

More and more information flowed in as Noah's already shocked mind was bombarded even more.

He...he actually had a system that activated something called Idle Mode on any Dimensional Rifts that he cleared.

After he cleared a Rift once, he wouldn't have to do anything as he could access his Idle Gaming System interface and enter Idle Mode for the selected Rift...automatically collecting loot after however much time it took him to clear the Rift in the real world!

"Holy shit…"
