My Idle Gaming System Chapter 45

I had seen many things in my few years of life.

I've come across GOLD Rank Experts, and even those in the DIAMOND Rank...but it was still the first time coming across someone like him.

I've truly seen a lot, but the scene in front of me was just unbelievable. A single Silver Rank being waved his hands as two mountainous sized Dimensional Beasts appeared, their power nearing that of the oppressive Gold Rank beings I've come across before!

A swaying illusory tree was called out as well as it released a comfortable light, as well as two ferocious Bronze Beasts that only added to this mysterious sight around this being...around Noah Eckert.

Even with my time in the Imperial Capital, coming across someone who could rise through ranks at such a rapid speed was something that could only be considered a dream. But after that traumatic event just one day, this being had changed too much as we were now in a Silver Rank Rift.

"These should help."

He looked towards me and his little sister after nonchalantly summoning the fearsome SILVER Dimensional Beasts, waving his hands to cause the appearance of the Silver Armors and weapons he showed us in the room.

I didn't even question what spatial treasure he had as I donned one of the armors and Annalise, this poor girl, took the Silver Bow with a strong expression. Her eyes seemed to be getting brighter over the past day as she saw her brother's strength, this brightness hiding the pain of losing both her parents.

If only I had been stronger...maybe I would have reacted fast when everything was happening!

If only I…

My weakness was something I sorely felt after being nearly assassinated and then not being able to help the people who saved me, and it was why I was following this being in front of me...this Noah Eckert who had unexplainable strength!

I had to repay my debt towards him no matter what it took, and I had to grow strong enough to never have to kneel again!

After all, no matter how I detested it- royal blood still flowed through my veins.

Like the brother and sister before me...I would make it my goal to never have to kneel again!

In the Molten Ruins Rifts, Noah was looking at the huge map in front of them with shining eyes. The environment was truly that- Ruins that showed devastated structures all around, the area seeing gusts of scorching air erupt from random spots as the sounds of beasts could be heard within!

"Let's go!"

He spoke while his body was adorned with Silver Equipment obtained from the Tower of Champions, Annalise and Rose wearing similar armor as they moved behind two enormous Units.

The SILVER Flesh Giant and the Horned Serpent led the way, the support and healing units that were the Illusory Willow and the Elder Stone Treant following behind them!

Even though he had SILVER Rift Bosses leading the way, Noah was extremely careful within this Silver Rift as it was filled with dangerous Beasts.

ROOAAR!

This point was reiterated as on their left side a Molten Beast erupted from the blind spot of the two front offensive Units, rushing towards Rose as Noah caught the speed of the Beast and appeared in front of it!

CLANG!

A silver radiance shone as his sword blocked the Molten Beast's strike, [Fire Bolt] blooming in front of him as even though the Beast was the fire element, it was still knocked back from the force of the skill.

OOOOH!

The roar of the angry Flesh Giant resounded out as its figure appeared rapidly at their position, moving at speeds something its size should not be able to as its enormous foots crashed down on the Molten Beat's position.

SQUELCH!

A horrifying sound rang out as the Beast was instantly reaped of its life.

Its death made way for many more Molten Beasts to rise towards them as the Units angrily rushed towards them, Annalise staying by Noah's side as she knocked frozen arrows onto her SILVER Bow, putting her Inherent Skill of Ice Queen to the test against the enemies a Rank higher than her as the opposing elemental attacks dealt heavy damage against them!

"Yaa!"

Rose had a determined expression as while covered with a silver aura, she slashed out with her sword that was reinforced with lightning, her dyed hair dancing on her head as she finally began to utilize her abilities and skills in combat!

A sense of teamwork was gradually formed as Noah moved across the Molten Ruins with powerful Units in the lead, learning about everyone's skills as after about 50 minutes, they crossed the scorching area of the Molten Ruins multiple times as all the normal Beasts within were taken care of.

RUMBLE!

When all the beasts were cleared, the Rift Boss would spawn.

This was exactly what occurred as in the next moment, a glorious magic runic circle shone as a monstrous Molten Lava Beast made its appearance.

ROAAR!

It bellowed out towards the challengers as the Flesh Giant and Horned Serpent released their own dominant roars, the Serpent flashing with great speed as it released [Venomous Cloud] onto the huge beast!

The Flesh Giant added to this with [Poisonous Burst], the shocking scene of its hand bursting into horrendous tendrils of pulsing green masses that wrapped around the Molten Lava Beast being shown.

It wasn't the best match up of elements, but Noah's units still dealt tremendous damage as they continued to swarm the Rift Boss on all sides.

Annalise's Frost arrows shot forth every now and then to slow the Rift Boss even further as Noah and Rose enhanced their bodies with their Silver auras while constantly weaving in and out of the range of the Boss to throw their attacks!

ROAAR!

Being swarmed on all sides, the Molten Lava Beast could do nothing but roar out in anguish as it fell under the attacks of the party in less than 10 minutes.

SHIING

A brilliant blue light erupted out at the fall of the Boss, it's body exploding into loot as 6 Silver Cores could be seen on the ground and nothing else!

The drop rate of loot in higher ranks was as abysmal as ever, even the common Molten Beasts of the Rift giving them a few Silver Cores.

[The Molten Ruins Dimensional Rift is now available in Idle Mode].

Noah got the prompt a second after the Rift Boss fell, his heart feeling a large weight lift off his shoulders as at this moment...he had effectively delved into all the Rifts within this City as he had had to do now was watch the overpowered Idle Gaming System do its work while he delved into the Tower of Champions!
