Noah was roused awake the moment the shocking words of a force from the Dark Continent nearing the border of the Continent he was currently in reached his ears.

He truly wanted to spend his time idling and growing stronger, with his next plans even being to delve into the Bronze rank dimensional Rifts with the help of his parents and even the 5th Ethereal Princess.

He had planned to put this princess to use as he utilized the favor of saving her life by quickly clearing the three Bronze Rank Rifts in Academy City, and even later going towards the singular Silver Ranked Rift within the City!

But now he was just told that the forces from the Dark Continent were heading towards the Light Continent, with a few cities as their target and Academy City was one of them!

It was such a surreal development that he didn't even know what to do.

The voice of Noah's father Jon rang out with somberness by the side.

"The news should have already been spread towards the Imperial City. We should see reinforcements before the legion From the Dark Continent making their way here can even arrive. Before then, we have to decide what we are going to do!"

A tough road seemed to lay ahead as the five figures within the small apartment pondered about the future.

The fifth princess seemed to have made up her mind as she rose to speak up, but this was when something shocking occurred.

It was akin to a bomb going off, a bomb so loud that the ear drums of a common Iron Ranked a Blessed were ruptured!

The sound shook the very apartment they were in as solemn expressions appeared in the faces of everyone when they felt the reverberations!

On this day, Noah Eckert came across the second explosion since his transmigration into the Ethereal Realm.

This second explosion...would have a much grander and more horrific significance than the first one though!

This was because the explosion...was the beginning of a nightmare.

In the skies above the clouds of Academy City, an airship was moving slowly while being hidden to the eyes of those below.

The airship contained a myriad of Blessed, each of them with cold expressions as their eyes were those of focus and longing!

There were thousands of Blessed within this airship, the large majority of them in the bronze rank as over 100 in the SILVER Rank were lined up neatly up front. Each of them wore armors and held weapons that matched their respective levels, these beings letting out powerful auras as on each of their armors, there was the inscription of a bloody crown being pierced at the center by a golden sword.

Standing in front of all of these beings at the edge of the airship was a man that had glimmering red hair and dark eyes.

His eyes seemed extremely sharp as they held the features of a beast, a glint of a golden color reflecting off of his body as shockingly, this was a being not of the Bronze or Silver ranks, but of Gold!

GOLD!

As he stared down at the calm city below them, his voice rang out.

"They expect the legion coming by land to be the one that reaches them first. They expect for us to give them time to prepare as they bolster their defenses and wait for the forces from the Imperial Capital."

His voice was tinged with power and ridicule as this GOLD rank Blessed thought the large city below them looked extremely minuscule when one looked at it from such a far away position!

His shocking words continued as his body pulsed with power.

"No, this war...this conquest was planned for a long time. We shall not give you time to prepare to be ready. We shall advance and strike quickly as before you know it...a large majority of these cities would have already fallen into our hands!"

RUMBLE!

From the position of the sky where the airship was at, this being that palpated with billowing power of the GOLD Rank jumped off the airship.

Before the enormous vessel could even be seen by those below in the Academy City, the most powerful figure that traveled within the vessel jumped off of it in a spectacular manner!

His body barreled towards the ground as he smashed onto the very center of the city, his impact causing a horrendous amount of damage in the nearby mile.

Buildings were shaken and tumbling as any beings in the Bronze rank or lower close nearby in the area that this expert had landed on were grievously injured or dead!

WAA!

The GOLD Rank expert stretched his neck as he looked around him, the shining eyes observing everything coldly as he moved towards the strongest auras within this city, the important personages of Silver that were wildly flaring out their power.

This GOLD Rank expert was the source of the explosion Noah and his family had heard.

This being signaled the arrival of a force that the beings from the Light Continent thought were days away from them.

This being signaled the beginning of a terrible war!

Noah and his family had gone out of their apartment complex as their faces changed drastically when they noticed the scenes outside.

In the skies, the appearance of an enormous airship tore apart the clouds as it descended towards the city at a rapid speed.

Ropes flung out of the airship as numerous figures blinking with silver and bronze lights flowed across them and into the peaceful city!

Noah's heart shook at the scene as it was purely unbelievable. Everyone beside him had foreboding feelings in their hearts while they were looking at this scene.

Near them, the 5th Ethereal Princess was wearing a veil that covered her face, her eyes shaking as she saw the enemies of their Light Continent and unbelievably having already arrived to attack them!

"No...it shouldn't be like this, they should not…"

Her words were filled with disbelief, but the scene in front of them could not be denied!

BOOM!

Numerous explosions began to resound throughout the city as the sounds of fighting began. The flashes of silver and bronze lights that descended down from the airships had begun to spread out into the city rapidly, destruction being left behind in their wake.

In the middle of all this chaos, a mesmerizing voice that was amplified uniquely by the use of magic rang out across the many miles of academy city.

"Your saviors from the Dark Continent have arrived to lift the oppression of the so-called Ethereal Emperor."

"We have arrived to free you, as all you need to do is lay down your arms and kneel under the rule of the Dark King. Only through this will you find abundant opportunities and wealth."

"As for those who do not kneel...they shall perish from where they stand!"

RUMBLE!

A resonant voice releasing a domineering claim!

It was the start of a shocking war as in the midst of it all, a certain transmigrator had not expected nor wanted any of it!
